Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe Paul Ricoeur's hermaneutics on Sunan Drajat song, and analyze the religious values ​​contained in sunan drajat song. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data analysis technique used is Hermaneutika as the paul ricoeur interpretation system and the analysis of the value of religiosity. Based on the results of the analysis, first found the analysis of the value of religiosity of human relations with God the creator of nature, From this research it can be seen that there is a value of religiosity that contains human-human relations contained in the Sunan Drajat song, and found the semantic hermaneutika analysis / symbol and reflection from Paul Reicoer as: Singo clinching which means Man and the passions; stars and the sun which means man and pleasure

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the form of code switching and code mixing, and want to see the benefits or functions of its use in learning activities in SMP Negeri 3 Lambu Kibang Tulang Bawang Barat. The method used is qualitative, which is to describe the form of code switching and code mixing in learning activities. From the results of the classification of the form of data mixed using Lampung language code in the process of learning activities obtained, the form that often appears is in terms of word forms (24.13%), phrases (13.79%) and sentences (26.72%) and clauses and the abbreviation is not found at all. Whereas the result of the classification of the form of code switching using Lampung language that often appears is from the form of sentences around (14.65%) and words, phrases, clauses and abbreviations are not found at all. The function of mixing codes and Lampung language code switching in learning at Lambu Kibang Tulang Bawang Barat Junior High School is to establish intimacy, provide explanations, affirmation to students as well as understand and know material deeper for students.

Abstract

This research is focused on the issue of the politeness principle of language in One Roof One State High School, Balik Bukit, which was studied pragmatically. Data obtained using the method of referring to the SBLC technique (see free engraved capable), record techniques, and note techniques. The results of the study indicate the following points. (1) Types of deviations in the language politeness principle consist of single deviations and double deviations. Single deviations include deviations of wisdom maxim, maxim of generosity, maxim of praise, maxim of humility, maxim of agreement, and maxim of sympathy. Dual deviations include deviations of wisdom maxim and generosity maxim, wisdom maxim and wisdom maxim, generosity maxim and praise maxim, praise maxim and agreement maxim, modesty maxim and sympathy maxim, sympathy maxim and sympathy maxim, wisdom maxim, generosity, and maxim maxim and maxim of praise, maxim of modesty, and maxim of agreement. (2) The cause of deviations in the politeness principle of language is caused by the speaker intentionally accusing the interlocutor, deliberately speaking out of context, protective of opinions, encouraging emotion of the speaker, direct criticism with harsh words, and mocking.

Abstract

The problem raised in this research is to improve the ability to write poetry of students with an integrated learning approach in learning Indonesian in class V SDN 1 Sukamenanti Kedaton Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2017 / 2018. This research was conducted because of the reality in the field that the ability to write class poetry V in SDN 1 Sukamenanti is classified as low, it is obtained that data in the basic competence of writing poetry the average value of students is 57.39 The average value obtained by these students in general has not reached the specified KKM, which is 65. Of the 28 students in SD Negeri 1 Sukamenanti Bandar Lampung only 10 or 36% of students achieved mastery. The rest, students can achieve completeness after taking remedial once, twice, or even up to three times. This shows that the ability to write poetry of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Sukamenanti Bandar Lampung is low. For this reason, the most integrated learning approach is used in order to improve the ability to write poetry. To achieve the above research objectives, the authors use the "Classroom Action Research" research method abbreviated as CAR or class action research (CAR). Classroom action research (CAR) is action research carried out by teachers in the classroom. This model uses a spiral system of self-reflection that starts from plans, actions, observations, reflections, and re-planning which is the basis for a problem-solving design. And use an integrated approach in learning. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that an increase in the ability to write poetry of students of SDN 1 Sukamenanti VB class after applying an integrated approach in learning Indonesian this can be seen in the initial conditions of the acquisition of an average value of 57.39 with the highest KM of 3.57%. In the first cycle the average value of 68.68 and the highest KM was 57.14%. In cycle II the average acquisition value is 71.93 and the highest KM is 64.29%, whereas the acquisition value in cycle III is an average of 77.04 and the highest KM in cycle III is 78.57%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of language in advertising beverage products on television. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The implementation of research refers to the design of language analysis techniques, namely the provision, analysis and presentation of data. The data is provided using the interview method and note taking technique. The results of the study found that in general the use of language in advertisements uses speech acts that state something (locution), provide information that interests the public (localization) which impacts to encourage them to use the advertised product. In addition, advertising also utilizes the implicative speech by packaging information presentations that implicitly invites people to buy or use the product.

Abstract

The ability to understand the meaning relationship is the ability to understand the relationship of meaning in sentences which include synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, homographs, homophones, hyponyms; hypernIM, and polysemia. This study aims to find out and describe how the level of students' ability to understand the relationship of meaning in sentences in the aspects above. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, while the technique of collecting data is multiple choice objective test techniques. The population in this study amounted to 218 students and the study sample was set at 54 people. The sampling technique used is the stratified proportional random sampling technique. The results showed that overall, the level of ability to understand meaning relations in the sentence of class XI Even semester of SMK Persada Bandar Lampung was categorized enough with an average score of 68.59. For each aspect, the level of students' ability is as follows: ability of synonymy in good category (77%), ability to understand antonyms in good categories (73.59%), ability to understand homonyms in good categories (73.70), ability to understand homophones in good categories ( 72.18%), the ability to understand homographs is in the less category (50.35), the ability to understand hyponyms is in the good category (77.74%), the ability to understand hypernimms is in a sufficient category (62.33), and the ability to understand polysemi in the less category (59.62%).

Abstract

Newspaper is a print media that functions to provide information, which is written according to gifts and language rules (Indonesian language). in this study examines and analyzes language errors in the Jawa Pos Radar Solo newspaper in the January-March edition of the Trevelling rubric in 2020. The type of research used is descriptive descriptive research. the technique used is refer to the one used to obtain data and record it to record the acquisition of data. based on the results of the study found errors in the spelling level language in the form of errors in writing words, mistakes in capital letters, errors in commas, errors in writing numbers, errors in the use of periods and colons, andparticle use error.errors at the level of syntax in the form of morphological manifestations are errors of suffix, perfix errors, and reduplication errors. errors at the level of discourse in the form of misuse of references and errors there are several topics in one paragraph.

Abstract

The problems raised in this study are related to the analysis of educational values ​​in the novel Cahaya di Atas Cahaya by Oki Setiana Dewi. The educational aspects studied include aesthetic (beauty), moral, religious and social aspects. The purpose of this research is to describe the value of education in the novel Cahaya di Atas Cahaya by Oki Setiana Dewi and to find out the dominant value and its relevance in the reader's life. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The results of data analysis that have been carried out on the novel Cahaya di Atas Cahaya by Oki Setiana Dewi which is studied from its educational values, both aesthetics (beauty), moral, religious and social, strongly indicate the existence of educational values ​​that are beneficial to readers and connoisseurs of literature in particular. novelist. The value of education in the aesthetic education aspect tells about the beauties of real work as reality based on God's truth. The value of education, especially moral education, such as being devoted to parents, positive thinking in all things faced, not being arrogant and selfish, and always being able to care for others and not being arrogant towards something you have and being able to control yourself in any situation. Educational values ​​in the aspect of social education include always thinking positively towards others, needing each other, knowing hostility, having courtesy, always forgiving others mistakes, and being able to understand differences in beliefs. The value of religious education is such as the attitude of always being patient in dealing with endless problems, having good morals and ethics.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) improve the students' writing skills of SD Negeri 1 Beringin Raya, Kemiling District, Bandar Lampung City through the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) learning model and imaginary situation card media; 2) increasing behavior change in students of SD Negeri 1 Beringin Raya, Kemiling District, Bandar Lampung City in writing drama scripts through the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) learning model and imaginary situation card media. The method used is classroom action research. This classroom action research is expected to improve the quality of learning to write drama scripts. This research was conducted in three cycles, namely cycle I, cycle II and cycle III. The results showed that 1) learning to write drama scripts through the Cooperative Learning Model Type CIRC (Cooperative, Integrated, Reading, and Composition) and imaginary situation card media can help students improve their ability to write drama scripts; 2) The improvement of students' abilities in writing drama scripts is followed by changes in student behavior that lead to positive behavior.

Abstract

In short story learning activities, students are not only directed to understand theories such as recognizing short story characteristics, intrinsic elements of literary work (short stories), but literary learning is directed to how students are able to find intrinsic elements contained in short stories such as, plot, setting, point of view, theme, mandate, language style, characters and others. This study used a descriptive qualitative method that was normative. The population in this study were all Grade VII Students of the Even Semester Semester SMP Kartika II-Bandar Lampung in the 2019/2020 Academic Year totaling 184 students consisting of 5 (five) classes. The sampling technique was carried out using the Stritified Proportional Random Sampling technique. Samples were taken as many as 16% of 184 students, as many as 30 students. Analysis of the ability to determine the intrinsic element of the short story "merdeka" by Putu wijaya then the results obtained from the aspects of the theme get a rating of 67% with enough criteria, flow aspects get a rating of 61% with sufficient criteria, setting aspects get a rating of 55% with less criteria, aspects of characterizations get an assessment 77% with good criteria, aspects of the perspective get 70% assessment with sufficient criteria, aspects of language style get an assessment of 85% with criteria very good, mandate aspects 83% get an assessment with criteria very good.
