Abstract

The Indonesian nation is a multicultural nation, in which there are various religions, languages, races, ethnicities, customs and so on which are characteristic of the Indonesian nation. At first, culture was created by humans to regulate the process or journey of human life and then passed on from generation to generation to the present. Wherever culture is located, it must contain rules that aim to limit human behavior so that it does not go beyond the limit, because if human behavior is not restricted then they will do whatever they want even which can cause a lot of harm. Therefore, culture needs to be preserved, introduced, maintained so that its existence does not disappear from human life. Thus, the role of education is needed in the process of preserving culture, introducing and instilling a sense of love for students for the rich culture they have in this beloved homeland. This article was written because the author often sees and feels the phenomena that occur in Indonesia, especially among teenagers, where they no longer know what their culture is like because at this time culture has been eroded from the life of the Indonesian nation as a result of the civilization of the times.

Abstract

This research tries to take the pattern of interaction between people of different religions in the sub-district of Soekarno, Bandar Lampung. The paradigm in this research is qualitative by using sociology and symbolic interaction. The data was collected by means of interview techniques, observation and documentation study. The results showed that the harmony of life for people of different religions in the sub-district of Soekarno-Hatta was built through interaction and communication of harmony that respected each other, respected each other, gave mutual tolerance and did not touch on religious issues in people's lives. Other supporting factors are: first, high awareness from the community of the importance of religious harmony which has been instilled since childhood by their predecessors; second, the growth of a spirit of nationalism in people's lives; and third, the existence of kinship ties resulting from previously interfaith marriages.

Abstract

The research was aim to know ofstudents’ difficulties in studying problemsolving on social studies atSDN 2 Fajar Agung. Abstract

This research aims to develop the Implementation Plan of Social Science Learning in Elementary School on the material Utilization of Plant Natural Resources for the Community. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D), produces new products and then tests the effectiveness of the product. The result of this research is to develop the utilization of plant natural resources for the community and conduct community-oriented assessments. That way the process of implementing learning can run well.

Abstract

Social studies teaching and learning process in schools is generally considered unattractive, as a result of which many school children are not interested in studying social studies subjects. In addition, there is an assumption that social studies subjects are not so important so that students in the teaching and learning process are not so serious in following them. Some indicators that show that the social studies subject is not interesting or important is that the values ​​of social studies lessons are not that high, and the Social Science program in SD is considered the number two program after Natural Sciences. Therefore, to accelerate understanding and avoid misunderstanding, appropriate approaches and teaching media are needed, according to the mental maturity level of students. The approach recommended in KTSP is a contextual approach including the medium. Educational media does not only include electronic media but can be simple media that can be prepared by teachers. One of the learning media that can be used is learning cards. In the training on the use of Karu Belajar media in social studies teaching and learning at SDN I Palapa Tanjung Karang, there were 35 participants from 40 registered participants. Participants believed that Study Cards were simple, easy to make and use and could increase student activity in social studies learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a plan for the implementation of Class IV social studies learning at SD / Mi. This research is a research and development or Research and Development (R&D). Data analysis starts from the stages of data collection, data presentation, and data verification. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of the lesson plan (RPP) has a positive impact in supporting efforts to improve learning outcomes for fifth grade students in elementary schools.

Abstract

Based on the pre-research results of the implementation of social studies learning (1) learning activities are still dominated by teachers so that students are less active in learning (2) the method used in social studies learning is the lecture method, where the information/concepts being studied are notified or presented by the method. lecture only; (3) in the learning process the teacher does not provide reinforcement in the form of providing motivation to students. The problem formulation in this study is "Whether the use of demonstration methods can increase social studies learning activities.The purpose of this study was to improve social studies learning activities The results of the research on the social studies learning process using the demonstration method in class V SD Negeri 1 Gedung Air Bandar Lampung for the 2019/2020 academic year, were as follows: In cycle 1 teacher performance reached 67% and student activity reached 63%. In the second cycle, the teacher's performance reached 78% and student activity reached 71%. In the third cycle the teacher's performance reached 88% and student activity reached 92%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve teacher skills, student activities, and student learning outcomes. Describe the improvement of learning outcomes of third grade students of SDN 3 Sukajawa in thematic learning in Theme 5 Weather. This research design is a classroom action research which consists of 2 cycles in each cycle consisting of 2 meetings with the stages of planning, implementing the action, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were third grade students of SDN 3 Sukajawa. Data collection techniques used test and non-test techniques. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. Research results of this research is that by applying the cooperative learning model the talking chips type can improve the thematic learning outcomes of the 5 weather themes. suggestions for teachers of this method can be used by teachers in the learning process of other subjects.

Abstract

The success of the teaching and learning process in the classroom is largely determined by the learning strategy, however complete and clear the other components, without being implemented through the right strategy, these components will have no meaning in the process of achieving goals. Therefore, each teacher will be required to apply certain strategies or methods in the implementation of learning. This research is based on the problems raised from the very low scores of science lessons, namely getting an average grade of 45.3 where only 10.52% scored above the KKM. Therefore, the researcher carried out a follow-up research with the formulation of the problem: How to improve the learning outcomes of Natural Science in the material of Energy and its changes by implementing the Discovery Learning model in Class VI semester II students of SDN 1 Sukamenanti Kedaton District, Bandar Lampung City, 2017-2018 ? While the objectives of this study are: (a) Knowing the improvement of learning outcomes in the Natural Science Matari Energy and its changes after the application of the Discovery Learning model in Class VI semester II students of SDN 1 Sukamenanti, Kedaton District, Bandar Lampung City, 2017-2018 Academic Year. (b) To determine the improvement in the learning achievement of grade VI students at SDN 1 Sukamenanti through the Discovery Learning model. (c) Improving the implementation of Natural Science learning in improving learning outcomes in class VI semester II students of SDN 1 Sukamenanti, Kedaton District, Bandar Lampung City, 2017-2018 Academic Year This research uses action research as many as three rounds. Each round consists of four stages, namely: design, activities and observations, reflection, and revision. The target of this research is the sixth grade students of SDN 01 Sukamenanti, Kedaton District, Bandar Lampung City, 2016-2017 Academic Year. The data obtained are in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning outcomes increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (26.31%), cycle II (47.36%), cycle III (89.47%). The conclusion of this study is that the Discovery Learning model can have a positive effect on the learning outcomes of Grade VI students of SDN 1 Sukamenanti, Kedaton District, Bandar Lampung City for the 2016-2017 Academic Year, and this learning model can be used as an alternative to learning science.

Abstract

Based on the results of the reflections of class V teachers at SDN 3 Sukajawa, teachers more often use lecture and assignment methods. Teachers have not used innovative and creative approaches, methods, and learning models. This causes students to be less enthusiastic about learning mathematics because they are only passive learning objects and only do assignments given by the teacher. To improve this, the Team Games Tournamet (TGT) type cooperative learning model was chosen. This research is a classroom action research which consists of 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 3 meetings. The research subjects were teachers (researchers) and fifth grade students of SDN 3 Sukajawa with a total of 36 students. Research colleagues were selected as observers. The variables of this research are Teacher Skills, Student Activities and Learning Outcomes. Data were collected using test and non-test techniques. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) The skills of the teacher in learning mathematics from the KPK and FPB materials through the application of the Team Game Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model in the first cycle got a score of 27 (good) increased in the second cycle got a score of 31.5 (very good ); (2) Student activities in learning Mathematics on the KPK and FPB material through the application of the Team Game Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model in cycle I got an average score of 17.47 (good) increased in cycle II got a score of 20.29 (good) ; (3) Student learning outcomes in Mathematics learning material KPK and FPB through the application of the Team Game Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model in cycle I got an average score of 68.61 (sufficient) increased in cycle II got a score of 78.06 (good ); (4) Classical completeness of student learning in Mathematics learning material for KPK and FPB through the application of the Team Game Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model in cycle I experienced a classical completeness percentage of 69.4% and in cycle II an increase in the percentage of classical completeness to 83 , 3%. The conclusion of this research is that the quality of learning mathematics material from KPK and FPB through the application of the Team Game Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model in class V SDN 3 Sukajawa has increased. The suggestion from the researcher is that research on the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model should not stop here, but can be continued to future research to obtain more accurate results regarding the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model.
