Abstract

Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Ar-Raniry Darussalam has many students from different departments, including the Department of Biology, Department of Physics, and the some others, the researcher noticed that most of them are able to answer questions correctly in the exercises. In fact, that book shows the short material and many tests, and each test has a variety of items. Therefore, the researcher wanted to analyze the form of the test items. In this paper, the researcher determines whether the test items in the Conversation Subject at the Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Ar-Raniry Darussalam are appropriate in terms of level of validity, reability, difficulty and in terms of level of discrimination. As for the purposes of scientific writing are to find out the suitability of the test items in the Conversation Subject At The Ma’had Al - Jami’ah Ar-Raniry Darussalam in terms of the level of validity, reability, difficulty and in terms of level of discrimination. As for the research method that the researcher used, it is the content analysis method. The population in this research is all students in SCTV’s dormitory which 183 students and the research took 22 students for sampling. In data collection researcher used documentation, that is, the test items in the Arabic Language Lessons Book for Non-Native Speakers Part One and the author is Dr. F. Abdurrahim in the Conversation Subject At The Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Ar-Raniry Darussalam. Based on the research can be obtained that the questions test which presented by the teacher are not in accordance with the standard item test in terms of validity, reliability, level of difficulty and discrimination.

Abstract

Based on the observation at MTsN 4 Banda Aceh, the researcher found a problem that students were unable to find important points in the qiraah text, so it was difficult to understand the text regularly according to the storyline in the text. This is due to the denseness of the text presented in the book and also the writing that is less interesting to read, so that it makes students bored to study the contents of the text. Therefore, the researcher wants to develop this book with an illustrated companion book to help students learn Arabic with an attractive appearance. The purpose of this study was to find out the level of validation and effectiveness of the use of the Illustrated Companion Book that had been developed. This study used the R&D (Research and Development) method, and the research instruments used were direct observation, questionnaire and test. The researcher took 31 students from class VII 1 as a sample. As for the data analysis technique, the researcher used the T-Test formula from the SPSS application. The result obtained from this research is the arabic textbook development process consists of ten steps: “research and information, collecting, planning, develop preliminary form of Illustrated Companion Book, preliminary field testing, main Illustrated Companion Book revision, main field testing, operational Illustrated Companion Book revision, operational field testing, final Illustrated Companion Book revision and dissemination and implementation. And the development of an Illustrated Companion Book based on expert judgment, which is valid with a value of 93.5%. The test result showed that the use of an illustrated companion book is effective in improving students' ability to translate and understand the contents of the text on a regular basis. In a way that is based on the results of the value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05 which indicates that (Ha) was accepted.

Abstract

The title of this research is the Development of Material structure in Arabic Textbook 2013 Curriculum year, with Microsoft Powerpoint. The researcher choises this title because she saw as who the students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Banda Aceh, in practicing Arabic they did not pay attention to the correct language principles. Especially when they practiced Arabic sentences do not match verb and personal pronound be right. Were in this school the students really like learning by using media, this fhenomenals can be seen from the student questionnaire that they were very enthusiastic about learning by using Powerpoint. Therefore, the researcher wants to develop structural material using Powerpoint. The purpose of this research is to develop a product for the development of material structural and to determine the effectiveness of the material by using Power point, and to find out what the experts think about the development of by material structural using Powerpoint media. For data collection, the researcher used a pretest and postest question questionnaire and an expert observation sheet. The results of the research are that the use of Microsoft Powerpoint media in developing the material structure increases student ability in learning structure, so that the media is effective for teachers in increasing ability to learn it. Based on the results of the posttest average score (T-test 2,09 <7,1> 2,86.) this value shows that the development of material structure by using Powerpoint media at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Banda Aceh is effective and useful. As for the expert assessment, it shows that the product is accepted based on the expert observation value, namely 80% from expert I, and 75% from expert II

Abstract

In the teaching-learning process, there are several components interrelated each other. These components include: students, teachers, objectives, materials, methods, media and evaluation. The criteria for the content of textbooks that are suitable for using by education units have been determined by the BNSP as stated in the Regulation of the Education Minister and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 8 of 2016 concerning books used in educational units article 3 paragraph 5 that the content of the textbook of lesson must cover aspects of material, linguistic, material presentation, and graphic. Besides these four aspects, teaching materials also need to be considered in a textbook. Teaching materials in textbooks are not only in accordance with the curriculum, but also they must be of high quality. William Francis Mackey explained that the aspects in seeing the quality of language teaching materials in a textbook, namely the aspects of selecting, gradation, presentation, and repetition. The researcher found that the subject matter for the fourth grade of the elementary school was not in the order and the grammar presented in the fourth grade of the elementary school was more than the grammar presented in the fifth Arabic for the elementary school. Therefore, the researcher analyzed the "fourth grade Arabic textbook at the Elementary School" to find out the contents of the book, according to the level of material gradation and also to determine the suitability of the book content with the principles of good book presentation. In this study, researcher used a descriptive method with the type of Content Analysis. The data collection techniques were documentation and literature review. In short, the results showed that the textbook has fulfilled the criteria for a good presentation of a textbook in terms of psychological, cultural, educational and language principles. However, when viewed in terms of material quality, this book is not in accordance with the level of material gradation.

Abstract

As stated by students through the interview they acknowledged the difficulties in learning Arabic such as Qawaid. Students found difficulty with the use of isim dhomir and the difference of fiil (verb) as well as the use of jar and mubtada khabar letters while learning Qawaid. Besides, they also found difficulty in formulating the correct sentences according to Qawaid rules. Based on the experience of the teacher, students’ ability is very lack in mastering the Qawaid materials. It is shown from the result of Qawaid assignments given. Furthermore, the students did not remember what the teacher explained when they were asked back by the teacher. The teacher points out that the students are lack motivation in learning Arabic. This problem will affect students' ability to accept the material. The purpose of this study was to (1) determine the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament model with Kahoot to improve students' ability to qawaid nahwiyyah (2) to determine the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament model with Kahoot to improve students' ability to qawaid nahwiyyah. (3) determine the effectiveness of the qiyasiyyah method with cards to improve students' ability to qawaid nahwiyyah. (4) knowing the effectiveness of the qiyasiyyah method with cards to improve students' ability to qawaid nahwiyyah. The research methodology in this thesis is an experimental method with a factorial design (The 2 x 2 Factorial Design). Based on the explanation, the researcher concluded that (1) The application of teams games tournament model with kahoot effective to improve the ability of students (lk) in Qawaid Nahwiyyah. With evidence that the distribution of data is at the siqnification level of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. (2) Implementation of teams games tournament model with kahhot not effective to improve the ability of students (pr) in Qawaid Nahwiyyah. With evidence that the distribution of data is at the siqnification level of 0.065 > 0.05. (3) Application of qiyasiyyah method with cards effective to improve the ability of students (lk) to Qawaid Nahwiyyah. With evidence that the distribution of data is at the siqnification level of 0.015 ≤ 0.05. (4) Application of qiyasiyyah method with cards effective to improve the ability of students (pr) in Qawaid Nahwiyyah. With evidence that the distribution of data is at the siqnification level of 0.004 ≤ 0.05.

Abstract

Exploiting advanced technological tool is considered as one of the requirements for the field of language education in the 21st century. Sadly, the field of teaching Arabic for Specific Purposes (ASP) is still a little behind when it comes to integrating these new educational tools into the teaching and learning processes. This will consequently result in decreasing the students’ motivation, as teachers still apply traditional teaching and learning methods, with a basic use of technology. It is important to note that the students in this generation utilize technology in their daily life, thus integrating these technologies in learning Arabic for Specific Purposes will benefit them in numerous aspects. Consequently, this study suggests the importance of developing learning materials using augmented reality technology for ASP modules. This study will shed a light on the concept of development, learning materials, and augmented reality. Finally, it will discuss about possible ways to develop ASP modules using augmented reality technology. It is hoped that this study will lead to advancement of educational tools for the field of ASP in the future.

Abstract

Maharah kitabah is the fourth maharah after maharah istimak, kalam and qiraah. kitabah is very important to be studied by every student, especially Arabic language students, to support the perfection of learning Arabic. However, along with the learning process, many students complain about the difficulties they face in studying. This study aims to see what are the obstacles faced by students in learning maharah kitabah by reviewing two aspects, namely the aspect of kitabah wal imla' and ta'bir kitabi. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and the results of student imla' and insha' exercises. As for the research results obtained, researchers found that the difficulties faced by students in learning Maharah Kitabah were very diverse. First: in terms of kitabah and imla', students are weak and slow in writing, they don't master the nahwu sharaf rules, they don't understand the rules of Arabic writing, the student's ability to listen to material dictated by the teacher is weak. Second: in terms of the interpretation of the book. Students are not able to compose sentences and paragraphs in perfect form, tadakhul lughawi, at least memorized vocabulary, limited ideas, and opinions, afraid of being wrong, lack of interest in material ta'bir kitabi, lazy to look for references or read, not too good at the material so they are confused about what to write.

Abstract

It was noted from the observations that most of the students can only memorize and understand the vocabulary, but cannot arrange it to become a sentence and cannot communicate in Arabic, the causes were the inappropriate teaching media used by the lecturers and the short time they have with the lecturer. Those things cause the students to become difficulty composing Arabic sentences and the inability to communicate with Arabic friends and lecturers. After the researcher distributed the questionnaire to the students, the researcher found that the students liked conversational material and needed learning media that facilitated students to have conversations with friends and lecturers, and they needed the development of conversational materials with learning media. Therefore, lecturers need learning media to display these lessons. Based on this phenomenon, the researchers tried to overcome the problems that occurred by developing muhadatsah lessons in improving students' speaking skills with the Microsoft PowerPoint program. The purpose of this study was to determine how the development of muhadatsah lessons in improving students' speaking skills with the Microsoft PowerPoint program and how effective the product was. The research method that the researcher used was R&D. The research instruments used by researchers to collect research data were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results of the research that the researchers obtained were: the development of muhadatsah lessons in improving students' speaking skills with the Microsoft PowerPoint program following 10 predetermined steps, and the t-test value (t-count = 23.18) is greater than the value (t-table with a significant level 5% = 2.11 and a significant level of 1% = 2.90). Then, it shows that the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted, which means that the Microsoft PowerPoint program is effective in increasing students' ability to improve speaking skills in muhadatsah lessons.

Abstract

The researcher has noticed a manifestation of the incident that most teachers from the middle school at the SMP Babul Maghfirah use traditional educational means in the process of teaching Arabic, especially for reading skills, and read and translate the material from the textbook until they need a long opportunity to repeat the reading text, and the text may read a dispute about exits The letters, and on this, it is difficult for students to focus, hear and understand the contents of the reading story what the teacher read from the textbook because many of the students are graduates of the SDN primary school and they did not learn Arabic before, as well as they still do not control the many vocabularies. Therefore, the researcher wants to do research on: Development of Reading Subject Matter Based on Interactive Multimedia (Research and Development at SMP Babul Maghfirah in Aceh Besar). The research aims to develop Reading Subject Matter Based on Interactive Multimedia and its effects on students. The research method referred to research and development using the method named ADDIE. The research population includes all students of Babul Maghfirah in Aceh Besar, 28 students from the second grade (D), and 432 students in total. The researcher has conducted interviews, questionnaires, and tests as research tools. This research aims to develop interactive Multimedia that could give more positive benefits to students based on five steps; analysis, design, development, application, and evaluation. As a result, the researcher has successfully created a new interactive Multimedia of reading subject matter. It also has received a positive score, in learning materials and media 100% (Special). The application has effectively contributed to the development of students reading ability based on the calculation (t-test), which is bigger than the table's results (t-table) or 7.76 > 2.05 and 2.77.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Development Book “Ayo Belajar Bahasa Arab” with LKS to improve students writing skills in Writing Hijayyah Letters (R&D research at MIN 15 Pidie Jaya)". The researcher found the problem that about 60% of the third-grade students at MIN 15 pidie jaya were not able to write Hijaiyah letters correctly, there were even some of them who wrote from left to right, especially when they wrote continuous letters in sentences. Based on these problems, the researchers wanted to develop worksheets to help improve their ability to write Hijaiyah letters. The LKS that the researcher wants to develop is the procedure for writing separate Hijaiyah and Hijaiyah letters that are connected to train them in writing so that they can write Arabic words and sentences correctly. The purpose of this study was to determine student responses to the development of worksheets. And to determine the level of effectiveness of the LKS development that has been developed. This researcher uses the R&D (Research and Development) method with the research instruments used are student questionnaires, expert validation, and tests. And the researcher took 15 third-grade students as samples. As for the data analysis technique, the researcher used the T-test formula from the SPSS program. And the results obtained based on this research are the development of worksheets based on valid expert assessments with a value of 93%, while the test results show that the use of worksheets is effective in improving their ability to write Hijaiyah letters. This is based on the results of the value of sig 0.00 <0.05.
