Abstract

Background: Bullying is a harmful behavior, especially among elementary school students. Bullying problems and cases that occur must get special attention, so efforts are needed to overcome them. One of the efforts that can be done is through health education using video media. Methods: This research with Quasi experiment approach with pretest- posttest without control group design. Health education was conducted for 10 minutes and repeated 3 times to test the effect of the intervention. The population in this study were all fifthgrade students at SDN Cisarua, West Bandung Regency, to 70 people. This study used a total sampling technique. This research has been conducted at SDN Cisarua, West Bandung Regency, data collection was taken in March 2024. Results: there was an effect of health education with video on bullying behavior on student knowledge. After being given health education there are 50 students with good knowledge, 20 students with sufficient knowledge and no students with poor knowledge. The results of the analysis using the marginal homogeneity test obtained a value of p = 0.0001 <0.05, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected, meaning that there is an effect of health education on the knowledge of respondents. Conclusions: Health education through video media can increase knowledge about bullying on the knowledge of elementary school students.

Abstract

Background: Batik artisans, particularly those involved in the "nyanting" process, are susceptible to lower back pain due to non-ergonomic working postures. These craftsmen sit for long durations as they meticulously apply wax to fabric. They utilize dingklik, which compels them to sit in a slightly hunched position. The repeated adoption of such postures can heighten the risk of lower back pain. This research aims to investigate the relationship between work posture, years of service, and the incidence of low back pain among "nyanting" batik artisans in Pulorejo Village Methods: This observational analytical research employed a cross-sectional approach with 42 "nyanting" batik artisans chosen through a total sampling technique. Conducted in Pulorejo Village in January 2024, the research assessed work posture using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) instrument, while the occurrence of low back pain was evaluated through history taking and physical examination. Statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS version 25.0 software. Results: A significant positive correlation was found between years of service and the occurrence of low back pain (LBP) (p=0.002; r=0.471). The risk of LBP increases with the length of service. Additionally, there was a significant positive correlation between working posture, as indicated by the REBA score, and the occurrence of LBP (p=0.010; r=0.395). A higher REBA score corresponds to a greater risk of LBP. Conclusions: the Years of service and the working posture were associated to  the incidence of low back pain (LBP) among "nyanting" batik artisans in Pulorejo Village.

Abstract

Background: Mother's milk (ASI) is a baby's need which is very necessary for the baby's growth and development. However, if exclusive breastfeeding is not provided, it can cause problems with the baby's growth and development Methods: This type of research is quantitative research using a cross-sectional study design, where the type of research emphasizes measuring/observing the independent and dependent variables only once at a time. This research involved 90 respondents. Results: In this study, the results showed that there was no relationship between working mothers and failure to provide exclusive breastfeeding in the Kandai Community Health Center working area with a Fisher's Exact Test value = 0.450 > 0.05. There is a relationship between social support and failure to provide exclusive breastfeeding in the Kandai Health Center working area with a calculated X2 value > X2 table. and there is a relationship between the promotion of formula milk and failure to provide exclusive breastfeeding in the Kandai public Health Center working area, the value of X2 calculated > X2 table. Conclusions: Promotion of formula milk, social support and no relationship between working mothers and the failure of exclusive breastfeeding in the Kandai Health Center working area. So it is necessary to pay attention to mothers who have babies <6 months to be able to provide exclusive milk to maintain the baby's growth and development well.

Abstract

Background: Efforts to reduce the side effects of long-term NSAID use have prompted exploration of transdermal drug delivery, which offers advantages such as avoiding first-pass metabolism, reducing pain, allowing sustained drug release, and improving patient compliance. Dendrimers, specifically polyamidoamine (PAMAM), are attracting attention for their potential in drug delivery. PAMAM has a three-dimensional structure of monodisperses with high amino group density and internal voids suitable for drug encapsulation. Methods: This research method uses the literature review method which begins with the collection of journals to be reviewed. The article search was conducted on the Pubmed database. Researchers searched with the keyword dendrimer. The two main synthesis methods are convergent and divergent dendrimers. Results: : Drug molecules can be trapped in dendrimers through hydrogen, hydrophobic, or electrostatic bonds. The advantages of dendrimers include improved solubility, permeability, and targeted drug delivery, while the disadvantages are high cost, toxicity and aggregation. This system has been used in several pain medications. Conclusions: Dendrimers are macrostructures with unique characteristics such as nanoscopic size, multifunctional surface, and high branching, making them ideal as drug delivery systems. Ketoprofen with PAMAM-type dendrimers showed that PAMAM dendrimers could significantly increase the accumulative amount of permeation of both drugs after 24 hours, compared with the drug suspension without PAMAM dendrimers. Dendrimers are multi-branched monodisperse macrostructures, derived from Greek.
