Abstract

Discipline plays an important role in shaping student behavior, work ethic, and overall academic success. Learning discipline and learning outcomes have a very close correlation for several reasons. This study aims to review the literature related to the problem on the relationship between learning discipline and learning outcomes of social studies subjects of  elementary school students. The type of data used is secondary data. The method to be used in this research is literature study. The data obtained is compiled, analyzed, and concluded so as to get a conclusion about the literature study. Based on the results of the literature study, it shows that there is a significant relationship between learning discipline and learning outcomes of social studies subjects in elementary school students. Learning discipline, such as accuracy and thoroughness in doing assignments, learning time management, and paying attention to lessons, greatly affects the improvement of student learning outcomes. Conversely, indiscipline, such as lack of time management, being late or not doing assignments, and not paying attention to lessons, can result in a decrease in student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant effect of students' creative thinking skills between class V.A as the control class and class V.B as the experimental class using the rotating wheel media at SDN 186 Palembang. This study uses a True Experimental Design treatment design with a Posttest-Only Control Design design. The study population was all fifth grade students of SDN 186 Palembang totaling 99 students in the 2023/2024 academic year. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The validity test of the instrument was tested by calculating the Product Moment Person correlation and to determine its reliability, it was tested using the Cronbach's Alpha method. The data analysis technique used the t-test (Paired Sample T-Test), which had previously been known for its normality and homogeneity. The results of the experimental group study obtained an average score of 78.73 and the control group obtained an average posttest score of 50.15, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on students' creative thinking skills in learning Indonesian language for grade V on advertising materials at SDN 186 Palembang in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to make humans intelligent, skilled and have noble character. In educational practice in Indonesia, the government has launched the Independent Learning curriculum. The Independent Learning Curriculum aims to enable students to freely think, express, be creative, and access knowledge from various sources. In practice, the Independent Curriculum certainly cannot be separated from the learning and assessment process. The learning process and assessment are components that cannot be separated, if the learning process carried out is effective then it must be accompanied by an assessment that is able to facilitate students providing feedback on their strengths and weaknesses, so that students always experience development in a positive direction. Diagnostic assessment is a type of assessment that is very important to determine students' learning readiness, talents, interests and learning styles. Conclusions from this research First, implementing diagnostic assessments is very important in order to create learning that supports students. Second, the implementation of diagnostic assessments in class I mathematics learning is based on the Pancasila Student Profile so that its implementation can be in accordance with the nation's noble values. Third, the application of a diagnostic assessment based on the Pancasila Student Profile in class I mathematics learning is based on the learning theory of cognitive development by "Piaget" with the aim that the assessment is in accordance with the stages of cognitive development of class students, namely at the concrete pre-operational stage. Fourth, the implementation of diagnostic assessments based on the Pancasila Student Profile and referring to the "Piagetian" theory of cognitive development has been proven to bring positive changes, including increased student motivation and focus on learning, students understand the learning material better, and student learning outcomes also improve. Abstract

This research aims to describe the TGT model in improving collaboration skills in students. This research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The research was conducted on class V students at SD N 1 Sribitan, totaling 24 students, using data collection techniques through observation and tests. The data obtained was tested for validity and reliability. The results of data processing show that the collaboration abilities of class V students at SD N 1 Sribitan are categorized as always increasing in each cycle. This statement is based on the results of students' collaboration abilities, namely before the treatment the average was 60 and after the treatment in cycle I it became 72, and the results from cycle II got an average score of 90, and there was an increase in collaboration which was marked by the achievement of collaboration indicators.So it can be concluded that the application of the TGT model can have a good effect on students' collaboration abilities, because there is an increase in collaboration abilities in cycles I and II.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research which aims to improve literacy and numeracy skills through a differentiated learning model in mathematics learning. This research was conducted at Tlogo State Elementary School with respondents from class V students, numeracy literacy in class 5 was still low between literacy and numeracy which decreased further, namely in numeracy because class 5 students were lazy in calculating porogapit mathematics questions. This type of research is classroom action research, using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model, in the order of planning, acting, observing, reflecting. The data collection technique uses tests by giving porogapit questions to students. The data analysis technique used in this research is a correlational analysis technique using the normality test with the Kolmogrov-Smirnow test. The success indicator for this research is said to be successful if the average percentage of each indicator of student activity reaches 75%. The research results show that the differentiated learning model can improve literacy and numeracy. The percentage result in cycle I was 42% and then in cycle 72%, so it was said to be successful because it met the success criteria

Abstract

This research aims to determine the significant influence in student learning outcomes between class IV.B as the control class and class IV.C as the experimental class which uses audio-visual media at SDN 124 Palembang. This research used a True Experimental treatment design. The research population was all fourth grade students at SD Negeri 124 Palembang, totaling 105 students for the 2023/2024 academic year. The sampling technique used is random sampling. Instrument validity, the test was tested using the Product Moment Person correlation formula and to determine its reliability it was tested using the Cronbach's Alpha method. The data analysis technique uses the t test (Independent Sample T-Test), whose normality and homogeneity have previously been determined. The results of the experimental group's research obtained an average score of 78.6 and the control group obtained an average posttest score of 69.86, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on student learning outcomes in class IV mathematics learning on mathematics sentences and calculations at SDN 124 Palembang in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

In the learning process in elementary schools, obstacles in learning are very often found. Obstacles can make it difficult for students to understand the material delivered by the teacher because the explanations given are too abstract so motivation to study the human digestive system is still relatively low. The aim of this research is to increase students' motivation to learn. Science material on the human digestive system through video-based learning. This research utilized a descriptive research design and qualitative methodology. With three data acquisition techniques, namely documentation, interviews and observation. Based on motivation, research shows that the use of video-based learning media can convey the content of the learning process very clearly so as to increase students' motivation to learn. The encouragement for student learning is by using video-based learning media, the availability of educational materials can make everything simpler. in conveying the content of the learning that students will learn. It is hoped that the use of the designed teaching videos can increase students' learning motivation in learning the science of the human digestive system.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang peran perpustakaan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa di SDN 3 Sitirejo Kecamatan Wagir Kabupaten Malang. Pokok masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Peranan Perpustakaan dalam Mendukung Proses Pembelajaran Siswa SDN 3 Sitirejo dan faktor yang menjadi penghambat perpustakaan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana Peranan Perpustakaan dalam Mendukung Proses Pembelajaran dan faktor yang menjadi penghambat perpustakaan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran siswa SDN 3 Sitirejo Kecamatan Wagir Kabupaten Malang. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri dengan alat bantu berupa pedoman wawancara, kamera handphone dan tape recorder. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifkasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan sangatlah berperan penting dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran siswa SDN 3 Sitirejo Kecamatan Wagir Kabupaten Malang karena siswa sudah memanfaatkaan perpustakaan dalam proses pembelajaran dan perpustakaan menyediakan koleksi yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan informasi bagi pengguna dengan menyesuaikan kurikulum di sekolah sehingga dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran, hanya saja dari segi (SDM) pengelola perpustakaan yang tidak berlatar belakang ilmu perpustakaan sehingga belum memiliki mutu dan kualitas sebagai tenaga profesional apalagi dia juga merangkap sebagai tenaga pengajar sehingga pelayanan di perpustakaan tidak terlalu efektif selain itu kurangnya jumlah eksemplar buku dari sebagian mata pelajaran.

Abstract

Rendahnya minat siswa terhadap materi IPA seperti rangka, otot, dan sendi memerlukan strategi inovatif untuk mengoptimalkan kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap dan keterampilan sains siswa melalui pembelajaran materi rangka, otot, dan sendi berbasis video IPA dengan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PJBL). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 61 Banda Aceh dengan populasi seluruh siswa di sekolah tersebut. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 28 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan tes, sementara teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada sikap dan keterampilan sains siswa setelah pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PJBL) menggunakan video IPA. Rata-rata nilai sikap meningkat dari 60,18 menjadi 74,91 dengan variansi menurun dari 31,45 menjadi 22,45, dan nilai t-statistik sebesar -28,34. Keterampilan sains juga meningkat dari 72,09 menjadi 93,56 dengan variansi menurun dari 33,25 menjadi 31,39, dan nilai t-statistik sebesar -53,17. Kesimpulannya, kedua variabel menunjukkan korelasi kuat antara pretest dan posttest dengan nilai p jauh lebih kecil dari 0,05, yang berarti bahwa metode yang diterapkan efektif dalam meningkatkan sikap dan keterampilan sains siswa.

Abstract

Based on the initial observations that have been carried out, problems were found in the form of low levels of discipline and student learning outcomes before integrating project-based learning. The purpose of the research action was carried out as an effort to improve the attitude of discipline and learning outcomes of mathematics on the material of blocks and cubes in grade IV students of SD Negeri Karangasem 4, Surakarta, totaling 26. The research was conducted over two cycles through a series of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques include observation and written tests. Data analysis is qualitative and quantitative. The results of the study showed that the overall level of discipline of students showed a percentage of 58%, after the first cycle was carried out there was an increase in the rate of 77%, then the second cycle again showed an increase in the percentage of 92%. The learning outcomes of students before the cycle were carried out by 23%, increased in the first cycle by 62%, and in the second cycle again increased to 92%. The average overall score of students was 85 with a completion percentage of 92% as many as 24 students completed the KKTP. The data shows that the implementation of project-based learning can improve discipline and learning outcomes of students.
