Socio-emotional Development of Broken Home Students at Elementary School Age (Case Study: Analysis of Class II Student Mi Roudlotus Saidiyyah Semarang). This study aims to (1) determine the socio-emotional development of Broken home students at MI Roudlotus Saidiyyah Semarang during the learning process, (2) determine the socio-emotional development of Broken home students at MI Roudlotus Saidiyyah Semarang when outside of class (playing), (3) knowing the teacher's efforts in developing students' socio-emotional. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data obtained through interviews and observations. After the data is collected then perform data reduction-data presentation-and conclude. The results of this study are, Broken home students are able to interact and communicate well, have high trust, show mutual affection, participate in cooperative activities, easy to get along with, sensitive to the environment. The child can achieve socio-emotional development in accordance with his peers with special guidance by the teacher who is in his environment. In guiding, the teacher always provides direction, encouragement, support, and stimulus so that the child is able to stimulate well.Keywords: Developmental, Socio-Emotional, Child Broken Home

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk kesulitan belajar siswa SMA Gadjah Mada Gondomanan, Yogyakarta dan mendeskripsikan tentang langkah-langkah guru BK memberikan praktik bimbingan kelompok kepada siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar tersebut. Tujuannya diberikan kegiatan bimbingan kelompok oleh guru BK yakni untuk mengurangi kesulitan belajar siswa. Adapun metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk kesulitan belajar siswa terlihat dari kurang minat studi siswa pada studi pelajaran, kurang usaha dalam mengulangi pelajaran, dan waktu belajar yang tidak dimanfatkan dengan sebaik mungkin. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengurangi kesulitan belajar tersebut guru BK berusaha untuk menggunakan langkah-langkah bimbingan kelompok kepada lima siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar. Adapun hasil dari analisis penelitian ini adalah bahwa dengan guru BK SMA Gadjah Mada memberikan bimbingan kelompok kepada lima siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar dapat mengurangi kesulitan tersebut. Dimana perubahan tersebut dapat terlihat dari cara belajar, perubahan sikap sehari-hari, dan semangat belajar yang dimiliki mereka.Kata Kunci: bimbingan kelompok, kesulitan belajar AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the difficulties of learning forms of high school students Gadjah Mada Gondomanan, Yogyakarta and describe the steps of the BK teacher to give group guidance to students who have difficulty learning The. The Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Vocational High School New Students Self Adjustment. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence with the adjustment of new students of class X SMK Negeri 1 Bulakamba Brebes. The sample in the study was 78 students. This study uses a quantitative approach. The results of the data analysis showed that the level of emotional intelligence of new vocational high school students was in the medium category and the level of self adjustment was in the medium category. There is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and vocational high school new student self adjustment as indicated by the value (r) of 0.635 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. While the coefficient of determination (r2) is 0.4032, this shows that emotional intelligence contributes 40% to the adjustment of new vocational high school students, so it be concluded that the higher level of emotional intelligence, the higher level of self adjustment.Keywords: Emotional Ntelligence, Self Adjustment, New Vocational High School Students

The Intervention Of Guidance And Counseling Program to Overcome The Bullying Of MAN Salatiga Students. This article a mixed method research with concurrent triangulation design to examine (1) the phenomenon of bullying at MAN Salatiga, (2) the guidance and counseling intervention to deal with bullying at MAN Salatiga, and (3) the ideal guidance and counseling program to overcome bullying at MAN Salatiga. Scale delivered to 157 respondents to measure students’ understanding and involvement in bullying. Interviews with students, guidance and counseling teachers, and FGD followed by lecturers and counselors used to collect information about bullying and bullying intervention. The results of the study revealed that students’ understanding of the concept of bullying is 73.41%, 44.76% students involved in bullying as witness; 34.13% as victim; and 34.25% as bully. There are differences between men and women in understanding of bullying concept and the involvement in bullying. The guidance and counseling teachers’ interventions in dealing with bullying are focused on guidance and counseling responsive services in the form of curative efforts to the victim and bully. Therefore, the ideal program in dealing with bullying is carried out evenly in the frame of guidance and counseling basic services, responsive services, individual planning services, and system support to the victim, the bully, and the witness.

Reality Therapy And Patience Concept In Physical Distancing Students At Astri Aulia Hostel. Covid-19 is a highly contagious disease that can shake an individual's psychological well-being. One way to break the chain of distribution is to live a clean lifestyle, wash hands, use masks and build physical distancing to stay at home and do all the activities in the house. Physical distancing, of course, will cause anxiety factors, because it narrows individual activities in the house, so this is where patience is needed to accept such needs. The research focuses on reality therapy and the concept of patience in carrying out physical distancing of female students at the Astri Aulia Yogyakarta dormitory. This research is a field research using qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection techniques are done by observation, interview and documentation. The results of the study are reality therapy and the concept of patience is able to have an impact on the client and in terms of religion, reality therapy is able to preserve patience in the lives of individuals to build physical distancing. Pada setiap orang ada kecenderungan atau dorongan untuk mewujudkan potensinya, dorongan untuk berkembang dan menjadi matang, dorongan untuk mengungkapkan dan mengaktifkan semua kapasitas seseorang. Akibat dari ketunanetraan, maka pengenalan atau pengertian terhadap dunia luar anak, tidak dapat diperoleh secara lengkap dan utuh. Akibatnya perkembangan kognitif anak tunanetra cenderung terhambat dibandingkan dengan anak-anak normal pada umumnya. Apabila lingkungan dapat memberikan kesempatan untuk berbuat, serta membantu anak tunanetra untuk melakukan penyesuaian sosial yang sebaik-baiknya, niscaya perkembangan kepribadian anak tunanetra tidak berbeda sebagaimana layaknya anak normal lainnya. Dalam pembahasanya kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik, observasi dan wawancara langsung terhadap kegiatan pengembangan diri anak tunanetra di Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah Ponorogo. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa kegiatan pengembangan diri yang dilaksanakan di panti, wajib diikuti oleh seluruh anak asuh. Bentuk kegiatan pengembangan diri yang dilakukan terhadap anak tunanetra di Panti Asuhan Tunanetra Aisyiyah Ponorogo mencangkup 3 jenis kegiatan yaitu Tarbiyah Islamiyah, Pelajaran Kecakapan, dan Ekstra Kurikuler.Kata Kunci : anak tunanetra, pengembangan diri, potensi

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pentingnya motivasi belajar bagi siswa, kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa berdampak pada proses belajar mengajar dan hasil prestasi siswa. Motivasi belajar memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap kesiapan siswa. Permasalahan yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimanakah proses pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan Media Audiovisual pada Siswa kelas X MAN 1 Kudus? dan apakah layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan Media Audiovisual dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar Siswa kelas X MAN 1 Kudus? Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok dengan media audiovisual terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X MAN 1 Kudus. Untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar melalui bimbingan kelompok dengan media audiovisual pada kelas X MAN 1 Kudus. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan bimbingan dan konseling Subjek penelitian adalah10 siswa yang terdiri atas 4 siswa laki-laki dan 6 siswa perempuan. siswa kelas X MAN 1 Kudus Tahun 2015/2016. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi, skala psikologi. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif komparatif. Penelitian dilakukan 2 siklus tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu 1) perencanaan, 2) tindakan, 3) pengamatan, 4) refleksi. Setiap siklus dilaksanakan 3 kali pertemuan membahas 3 topik dengan alokasi waktu 1x60 menit. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test tindakan bimbingan kelompok motivasi belajar siswa dalam kategori rendah dengan skor rata-rata 64,6. Setelah diberi bimbingan kelompok siklus I motivasi belajar siswa meningkat dengan skor rata-rata 72,4 menjadi motivasi belajar tinggi. Pada siklus II motivasi belajar siswa dalam kategori tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 84,2. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X MAN 1 Kudus tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan dapat diterima karena telah teruji kebenarannya

Implementation of Islamic Spiritual Guidance for People with Mental Disorders at the Jalma Sehat Kudus Foundation. This study aims to reveal the implementation of Islamic spiritual guidance for people with mental disorders at the Jalma Sehat Kudus Foundation. This research on the implementation of Islamic spiritual guidance for people with mental disorders was carried out using a qualitative approach with the type of field research (field research) with data collection techniques using Interview, Observation and Documentation. The research subjects or informants in this research are the Chairperson of the Jalma Sehat Kudus Foundation, nurses, and spiritual mentors of the Jalma Sehat Kudus Foundation. The results showed that the Jalma Sehat Kudus Foundation in carrying out spiritual guidance for people with mental disorders. Methods. Spiritual guidance for people with mental disorders was carried out by the individual method (direct) and the group guidance method. The stages and materials for spiritual guidance for people with mental disorders are in three stages, namely: (1) the initial stage is by introducing Fiqh Worship, (2) the intermediate stage is the seriousness stage, namely by providing religious lecture guidance, and the final stage is the stage of ending the guidance process ( termination). Suggestion It is necessary to have a permanent spiritual guide who is assigned to carry out spiritual guidance at the Jalma Sehat Kudus Foundation so that the implementation of Islamic spiritual guidance can run continuously.Keywords: Guidance, Islamic Spirituality, Mental Disorders

Eventhough it is said that men was a perfect human being, men also has limitation. People everywhere develop social interaction to satisfy their need for affections and completed their limitation. Social relation in the first-year college sudents plays as a crusial part because its has importance impacts to students success and well-being. Many studies has proved that quality of social relationship can be improved through interpersonal communication. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of an interpersonal communication skill training to improve quality of social relationship among first-year students of IAIN Salatiga. This study was quasi-experimental. The number of participant in the experiment group were 21 (7 male and 14 female) and 20 (9 male and 11 female) in control group. Finding showed that interpersonal communication skill training increased the quality of interpersonal relashionship among first-year students of IAIN Salatiga significantly. There’s a difference quality of interpersonal relationship score after the treatment, that experiment group has higher score than control group’s (t = 2.30, p < 0.05).

The Effect of Self-Esteem on Social Climber Behavior in Guidance and Counseling Students, Semarang State University. This study aims at examining the influence of self-esteem on social climber behavior on Guidance and Counseling students at Universitas Negeri Semarang. These phenomena were related to the behavior of social climber. The most highlighted social climber behavior on students reflected in their lifestyle, e.g. their appearance and circle. This phenomenon happened because of the desire to get recognition from the surroundings. The research was a quantitative method using a psychological scale to collect the data. The results of this study showed that there was a significant relationship between self-esteem and social climber behavior on students. The results of this study are useful for Guidance and Counseling teachers to provide more innovation in conducting Guidance and Counseling services, especially in order to be able to guide individuals with social climber behavior to become individuals who want to accept themselves as they are.Keywords: Self-Esteem, Lifestyle, Social Climber Behavior
