Abstract

The increasing number of pilgrims from year to year, the more guidelines are needed that can help the community in facilitating the implementation of the pilgrimage. Meanwhile, the inefficient delivery of information regarding the practice or procedures for Hajj rituals at the Medan Hajj Dormitory is done manually by coming directly to the location. There are several things that need to be considered, namely how to design and create a virtual Hajj pilgrimage tour application by implementing the Android-based virtual joystick feature. The necessary data were collected using qualitative data collection methods, namely by conducting observations, interviews and literature studies. While the system development uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method. The resulting application is a Hajj ritual simulation application with a virtual joystick feature to move the ritual object so that it can become an interesting educational medium which has been tested using the black box testing method with a system success index of 100%.

Abstract

Gynecological disease is a disease that is feared by women. Several diseases related to gynecological diseases such as uterine fibroids, uterine cysts, cervical cancer are types of gynecological diseases. This research develops an expert system to help detect gynecological diseases using the forward chaining method. The system development method used in this research is waterfall. The waterfall method consists of 5 stages, namely planning, analysis, design, implementation, and system. By developing this system, it can help detect gynecological diseases early based on existing symptoms so as to prevent the negative effects of these diseases.

Abstract

This study offers a system to be able to calcify the ripeness level of avocado butter using the K-Nearest Neighbor method based on fruit skin color. The purpose of this study was to test the accuracy of the optimization of the k-nearest neighbor algorithm on the classification of butter avocado maturity levels. The problems raised in this study are to make it easier for farmers and traders of avocado butter in determining or sorting avocado butter based on the level of ripeness as seen from the color of the fruit skin for further classification. Based on the results of research using the K-Nearest Neighbor method by examining the skin color of 20 butter avocado samples, consisting of 7 unripe butter avocados, 6 half-ripe butter avocados, and 7 ripe butter avocados, the results obtained an accuracy rate of 80. %. The results of sample testing conducted on unripe butter avocados illustrated an accuracy rate of 85.71%. In contrast to unripe butter avocados, the results of testing half-ripe butter avocados showed an accuracy rate of the K-Nearest Neighbor method of 66.66%. There is a significant difference in the level of accuracy for the two types of butter avocado maturity of 19.05%.

Abstract

Stock investment in companies it is a task of the numerous speculative possibilities that is really well-liked in different areas. Due to the large number of enthusiasts, many potential investors invest performing a detailed examination company, resulting in future losses. So to choose the right company to invest in stocks, various considerations are needed. One of the considerations used in investing in stocks is the company's fundamental analysis, where prospective investors can analyze the condition of a company through financial reports to see whether the company is feasible or not to invest. The stock category that is of concern to investors is the LQ45 stock index. When selecting stocks with a promising future, the LQ45 stock index serves as a reference point. To facilitate potential investors in evaluating or analyzing the current condition of the company, an aid to decision-making is required. This decision support system employs entropy and MOORA, or Multi Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis. The weight of each criterion is established by applying the Entropy technique, and the MOORA method is used to rank the alternatives. In this decision support system, the combination of the Entropy and MOORA approaches takes the shape of a weighted ranking of the 7 alternative choices from highest to lowest scores based on the 7 criteria. In accordance with the study's conclusions, this system can deliver best LQ45 stock recommendations that are worthy of investment for potential investors. And the results of the accuracy of manual calculations with system calculations reach 100%.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a change in the learning and teaching process in Indonesia. The previous offline learning and teaching process has shifted to online. This change aims to prevent the spread of Covid-19. This change has necessitated the use of e-learning in the online learning and teaching process. E-learning is a medium used to deliver teaching materials from lecturers to students online. However, the use of e-learning in the online learning and teaching process is not the most suitable choice. This is because e-learning requires an internet connection and is usually more compatible when accessed through a laptop or computer rather than a smartphone. The requirements related to internet connectivity and compatibility have resulted in low mobility for students and lecturers in the learning and teaching process. They are unable to access the learning and teaching process anytime and anywhere when they are in a location without internet access or without a computer or laptop. Therefore, it is necessary to design and develop an e-learning platform specifically targeted for Android smartphones. This development is commonly referred to as mobile learning, which can be created using Android Studio. Mobile learning consists of several important pages such as login, register, class access, learning materials, and assignments. With the implementation of mobile learning, it is hoped that lecturers and students will be able to access the learning and teaching process anytime and anywhere through mobile learning.

Abstract

Research has been carried out in Sipispis Village which is located in Serdang Bedagai Regency. Sipispis Village with a population of ±1,553 people, consisting of 737 men, 816 women and 391 families belonging to 7 (seven) hamlets. For village governance matters, such as letter submission services, they still use a manual system. Apart from the fact that the system is still running manually, the people of Sipispis Village do not get enough information about village news. This is because the village government does not provide a special platform for village news. Complaints from the community about the village cannot be conveyed widely because of the limited system that runs in the village. Therefore, a Smartdesa application system is needed so that it can overcome these problems, for example in community affairs to the village government such as submitting land cover letters, introduction to marriage certificates, acknowledgment of death certificates and certificates of incapacity, domicile letters, introduction to inheritance certificates, introduction to SKCK, birth certificate introduction, and business letter introduction. The required information was collected using a qualitative survey method, namely through observation, interviews and literature studies. The Waterfall method is used in system development. The Smartdesa application can make Sipispis Village governance better and can support village progress.

Abstract

The community is not educated about how to handle a fire when it occurs. This causes the fire problem to be difficult to overcome and causes the community to experience great losses. The purpose of this research is to make an Android-based “QR FIRE” Fire Response Application that can make it easier for the public to find out more about fires. The research method used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with stages covering system planning, system analysis, system design, program writing, and application testing. Application design is carried out using Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams, navigation structures, and application interface design. Making this application uses the Flutter framework with the Dart programming language. The QR FIRE rapid fire response application has been successfully created and can be used on Android devices. The application has succeeded in answering the objective of this research, which is to educate the public about how to respond quickly to fires. Application testing is carried out with two types of trials, namely the BlackBox trial, the device portability test. The results of the BlackBox trial state that all functions in the application function properly according to the expected output. Furthermore, the results of the device portability test state that the application has run optimally on every Android device with a certain specification range.

Abstract

Information and communication technology advancement has transformed the landscape of education in various academic institutions. To address the increasingly complex demands faced by students, universities need to adopt innovations to enhance the quality of services and interactions with students. One promising innovation is the use of chatbots in the context of academic services. A chatbot is an artificial intelligence-based application capable of interacting with users through a conversational interface. In this study, the implementation of a chatbot-based academic service is proposed to enhance student interactions at Panca Budi University. The needs analysis results indicate that students require direct and real-time access to interact with the educational service system. In the design of the chatbot architecture, several services in AWS, such as AWS Lambda, Amazon Lex, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon CloudFront, and Amazon S3, are utilized. The implementation of the chatbot is performed through configuration in Amazon Lex and integration with Twilio. The results of the performance of the chatbot-based academic service can improve student interactions by providing quick and easy access to information.

Abstract

Blood is a fluid that has the function of supplying nutrients, transporting metabolic products, sending oxygen and as natural antibodies to fight viruses or bacteria in the body. The Blood Donor Unit (UDD) of PMI (Indonesian Red Cross) is one of the agencies responsible for ensuring the availability of blood. To meet this availability, this agency carries out various programs, in an effort to ensure that the availability of blood is maintained. But in reality, there is a gap between supply and demand, where the need for blood is higher than the supply of blood. The problem of relatively high demand and a minimum number of blood donors can be used as a research topic, with the aim of producing information about the number of donors, blood types and availability, and temporary donor sites in each sub-district in Purwakarta district. This research will use the Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC) algorithm, with the methodology used, namely SEMMA, the stages are: sample, explore, mpodify, model, and assess. The attributes used are id, district, blood group, latitude and longitude. From these attributes, clustering is made using the Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC) algorithm using Orange, and visualized using Power BI. The research results from this data cluster get 3 clusters, the most donors are in Purwakarta District and followed by Bungursari District. Then the evaluation was assessed using the Silhouette Coefient which resulted in an accuracy rate of 0.713346292
