Abstract

The word “innerancy” can be defined as “the quality of free from error” in the Bible. The innerancy taught that the Bible free from error. It cannot be false and not state something counter to Rene Pache mention two term can actually interchangeable place, namely innerancy and infability, there are some people who are trying to opposed the doctrine of innerancy and infability, even though both the doctrine is essetially teach the same thing about the scripture, that the scripture is absolutely right, impeccable.

Abstract

The main task of the church is to proclaim the gospel of Christ and to shepherd His disciples (Matt. 28:19). In carrying out these two main tasks, God's church is faced with challenges that must be faced, because that is the reality of God's church ministry in this world (Matt. 10:6). This is also what churches in remote areas, especially Indonesia, are facing. Therefore, the church needs to think of a strategy that is strong, effective and targeted (contextual), but still based on Bible truth. Whatever the conditions, the church must remain missionary, because that is the reason for its existence in the midst of this world, namely to bring the Good News from the Lord Jesus Christ. This study uses a qualitative method with a narrative review approach. In this research, the strategies offered are: evangelism into the church, discipleship, training for evangelism, mentoring for evangelism practice, evangelism outside.

Abstract

This article is a literature study that describes the concept of pastoral care for married couples who experience conflict in marriage. To explain this, the author presents various information from primary sources in the form of interviews with married couples who experience conflict in marriage. The author also presents information from secondary sources related to the research topic which is then described descriptively. From the research conducted, the author found that the conflict experienced by the husband was rooted in anger and stress. Married couples who experience anger and stress in marriage need pastoral assistance in dealing with situations in their married life, because it is not easy to resolve these two things well and healthily. Pastoral counseling to deal with married couples who experience anger and stress in marriage needs to be given since premarital counseling.

Abstract

Homosexuals hope that society will accept their existence and no longer gives negative stigma. They also hope to receive the same treatment as heterosexuals, where they can marry their partners. This study discusses ethical, juridical and theological perspectives on same-sex marriage. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Through this research, the writer hopes that the church has an understanding and knows how to behave towards homosexuals and their demands to be able to do marriages with same-sex partners. The author also hopes that homosexuals can realize and repent that their behavior is wrong and ethically deviant, violates juridical rules and even their behavior is a sin before God.

Abstract

The Priesthood of All Believers is one of the main teachings of church reform in the Middle Ages, but unfortunately its implementation in the practice of congregational life is still often misunderstood or ignored. This paper aims to examine the nature and relevance of The Priesthood of All Believers as the foundation of mission for every believer, especially in the context of pluralism in Indonesia. The research method used is literature. At the end of this paper, it is found that every Christian must understand that whatever his profession in the secular world is a call from God to him, which must be seen as an exercise of his faith in God. In the context in Indonesia, every Christian is called to create harmony and peace in the midst of community. The laymen have a strategic role to carry out the inclusive mission to prevent the church from exclusivism.

Abstract

This research highlights the profile of the life of Mary, the mother of Jesus, which is studied based on the Bible, especially the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. In this research, we will cover five aspects of Mary's life: her spiritual life, character, morality, mentality, and role as a wife and a mother. The goal of this research is for Christian women living today to understand these five perspectives of Mary's profile on how to serve their husbands and to set an example for the children God has entrusted to them. This research uses a qualitative approach with the method of literature. The results of the research shows that Mary’s spiritual life, character, mentality, morality, and her role as wife and mother are biblical according to the word of God. Thus, the values ​​of Mary's life are still relevant to be implemented into the daily lives of today's Christian women.

Abstract

The Covid-19 Pandemic has changed the model of worship. Online worship is the best option to minimize the transmission of Covid - 19. Therefore, the researcher wants to know whether the church members are ready to attend online services? The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the church’s vision, mission, interests, social interaction, and technology could be implemented by the church members. This research method is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The conclusion is that church members accept online worship and can still carry out social interactions strengthening and giving advice even through the learning process using gadgets. Members are fully aware that online evangelism is easier and spreads all over the world.

Berbicara tentang kekristenan, berarti berbicara tentang pelayanan. Itu berarti berbicara tentang penginjilan dan misi. Tetapi banyak orang yang membahas soal misi sebenarnya tidak disangkutpautkan secara langsung dengan apa yang sebenarnya Alkitab katakan, apa yang Tuhan Yesus maksudkan. Itulah sebabnya sekarang ini istilah misi tidak hanya dimonopoli kekristenan. Sudah menjadi istilah umum, yang tentu saja pemahamannya berbeda dengan apa yang dikatakan Alkitab. Tetapi misi Kristus pasti selalu berkaitan dengan melakukan karya dan kehendakNya untuk umatNya serta bagi kerajaan dan kemuliaanNya.

Abstract

Sepanjang pelayanan-Nya di dunia ini, Tuhan Yesus selalu mengadakan perjalanan keliling ke seluruh pelosok desa dan kota. Bahkan kalau boleh dibilang lebih banyak berada di perdesaan daripada di perkotaan. Di sana Tuhan Yesus tidak hanya mengajar tentang bagaimana membangun relasi dengan Allah Bapa dan Kerajaan Surga, melainkan juga bagaimana seharusnya manusia memiliki relasi yang baik dengan sesama dan lingkungannya. Sesungguhnya pelayanan holistik itu telah dimulai dan diteladankan oleh Tuhan Yesus sendiri.

Tentu ini tidak alkitabiah. Tuhan menjadika laki-laki dan perempuan dalam kesejajaran. Saling mengisi dan melengkapi.
