Aksara: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia
Aksara merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Batanghari dan Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Batanghari. Jurnal ini merupakan jurnal penelitian yang mempublikasikan artikel hasil penelitian asli, studi kepustakaan, dan tulisan terkait dengan fokus pada kajian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, kajian bahasa dan kajian sastra. Semua artikel ditinjau oleh 4 orang reviewer, 2 orang reviewer internal dan 2 orang reviewer eksternal. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali dalam satu tahun setiap bulan April dan bulan September, jurnal aksara ini dapat diakses pembaca, jurnal aksara ini berisi hasil penelitian pustaka maupun hasil penelitian lapangan. Jurnal ini meliputi beberapa ranah Ilmu sebagai berikut: 1. Kajian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia meliputi bidang pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa, pembelajaran linguistik, pembelajaran semantik, pembelajaran pragmatik, pembelajaran wacana, pembelajaran sosiolinguistik, pembelajaran psikolinguistik serta pembelajaran puisi, pembelajaran prosa, pembelajaran fiksi, pembelajaran drama. 2. Kajian Bahasa Indonesia meliputi: fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, analisis wacana, semantik, pragmatik, sosiolinguistik, psikolinguistik, bahasa dan budaya, dialektologi, dokumentasi bahasa, serta bidang keilmuan lain yang berkaitan dengan kajian kebahasaan. 3. Kajian Sastra Indonesia meliputi: sastra lisan dan sastra modern berupa kajian puisi, prosa fiksi dan drama.

<![CDATA[This research is aimed at identifying the use of suggestion-imagination model towards anecdote writing. This research is quantitative. The design of this research is pretest and posttest group. The population of this research is class X MIPA 3 students of SMA Negeri 10 Kota Jambi. The sampel is taken by using purposive sampling. Test is used in collecting the data. There are two tests are used, they are; pretest and posttest. The data are analyzed by using normality test, and homogeneity test is used to find the result of hypothesis. The research result shows that the mean of posttest is 67,18 and pretest is 58,59. The hypothesis test is used for t-test in which tcount is 7,857 and ttable is 2,353. It means that this result is equivalent with the criterion in which Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that suggestion-imagination model has significant influence towards students of class X MIPA 3 in writing anecdote inSMA Negeri 10 Kota Jambi Academic Year 2016/2017. <![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to describe the religious values related to the relationship between human and God, relationship of human to humans, and the relationship between human and nature in the novel Rania Lantunan Cinta Di Sepertiga Malam by Eria Chuzaimiah and Nasrullah. This research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique used in this research is documentation study. In analyzing the data, content analysis technique is used. The results of this study consisted of 164 expressions. The religious value of the relationship between human and God includes the following five aspects: 1) there are 36 expressions of believing in Allah; 2) there are 44 expressions of wroshipping Allah; 3) there are 49 expressions of being grateful for His blessings; 4) there is one expression of being patient with His trials; 5) there are nine expressions of asking for forgiveness. The religious value of human to human relation includes 4 aspects, as follows: 1) there is one expression of fairness, 2) 10 expressions of helping each other, 3) eight expressions of forgiveness; and 4) five expressions of keeping promises. The religious value of the relationship between human and nature includes one aspect which only occures one time namely preserving the environment.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to describe the aspect of protagonist character in the novel Saat Hati Telah Memilih. The aspect of the protagonist in the character of Riri in the novel Saat Hati Telah Memilih represents the aspect of honest, humble, clever, independent and defender. This research is qualitative research. This research is used to understand phenomenon in the subject of the research by the decription of words and language by using the data. The data is in the forms of quotations of aspect of protagonist character Riri in the novel Saat Hati Telah Memilih. The result of the research is the description of some aspects of protagonist character of Riri in the novel Saat Hati Telah Memilih. From the total of 52 quotations, it can be found that there are 11 expressions of honesty aspect, 25 expressions of humble aspect, 8 expressions of smart aspect, 3 expressions of independent aspect, and 5 expressions of defender aspect. The most dominant aspect of the protagonist character is considerate, humble, generous, and care.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to describe the card sort learning model towards students class VII C writing skill at SMP Negeri 5 Kota Jambi. This research is Quasi eksperiment by using quantitative approach. This research used 1 experimental class which consists of 36 students by using Liliefors test. The requirement test used in this research is normality and homogeinity test. The result of normality pre-test is -92,48 and post-tes is -432 and the homogeinity score is 0,57 which is higher than significant = 0,05. It means that the data is normal and homogen so that hypothesis test can be tested. Hypothesis test is done by using t test formula. The result shows that the score of is 1,859 which is higher that the score of 1,000 with significant = 0,05 with dk 36. It can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between the use of Card sort learning model towards students class VII C writing skill at SMP Negeri 5 Kota Jambi in which the mean category is 93,33 more higher than the mean of pre-test 76,80 Keywords: The Effect, Card Sort, Poetry Writing]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pemakaian bentuk pronomina persona pertama, bentuk pronomina persona kedua, dan bentuk pronomina persona ketiga dalam novel Tahajud Cinta di Kota New York Karya Arumi E. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data utama dalam penelitian ini berupa data tertulis berwujud kutipan-kutipan yang mengandung unsur bentuk-bentuk pronomina persona yang terdapat dalam novel Tahajud Cinta di Kota New York Karya Arumi E. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik studi pustaka dan teknik dokumentasi yang difokuskan dalam menganalisis bentuk-bentuk pronomina persona yang terdapat dalam novel Tahajud Cinta di Kota New York Karya Arumi E. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis dan deskripsi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk pronomina persona ini tergambar dalam kutipan-kutipan yang terdapat dalam novel Tahajud Cinta di Kota New York Karya Arumi E. <![CDATA[This study aims to describe the improvement in students' ability to find news headlines by using the Jigsaw model in class VIII E of SMP Negeri 16 Jambi City, Kota Baru sub-district, Jambi City in the academic year 2020/2021. The object of this research is students assessment which are scored based on news substance and linguistic aspects. The substance aspect consists of the ability to determine news headlines using the Jigsaw learning model. Meanwhile linguistic aspects include the ability to use news elements, namely 5W + 1H in determining news headlines. The data source of this research is Class VIII E SMP Negeri 16 Kota Baru Subdistrict, Jambi City in the academic year 2010/2011. The number of the students is 41 people from the total class VIII students as many as 162 people. The results of this research showed that the jigsaw model has not been effective in improving students' ability to find news headlines. It is known from the ability of students in determining the subject matter is still low. This can be seen from the percentage results, students get a very good categorical score of only 2 people or 4.88%, the good category is either 13 people or 31.70 %, the fair category is 18 people or 43.90 % while the less category is 8 people or 19.51 % as for the average score they get 57.70 and rounded up to 58. Thus the ability to determine the news headlines by students of Grade VIII E SMP Negeri 16 Jambi City District Kota Baru, Jambi City in the 2010 / 2011 academic year is classified as less.]]>

<![CDATA[This purpose of this research is to describe the function of substituution to omit monotone in the novel Surga yang Tak Dirindukan 2 by Asma Nadia. Moreover, this research is also aimed at investigating literature which refers to research in language. This research is descriptive qualitative. The data is taken from quotes in a form of sentences in the novel Surga yang Tak Dirindukan 2 by Asma Nadia. The quotes which are related to the function of substitution in the novel are analyzed by using theory from Kridalaksana. The result of the research is there are 30 quotes which use the function of substitution in omitting monotone. This indicates that the writer of the novel uses the function of substitution to omit monotone so that readers of literature will not feel bored in reading the novel. From this research, it is suggested that the writers can serve literary works that can be enjoyed by the readers.Key Words: analysis, function of substitution, novel]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to describe adverbial of Jambi Malay language in Tanjung Raden districk Danau Teluk subdistrict Jambi city. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods. The data is collected through observation and interview. In this study, the data is in the form of Adverbs which are derived from 6 informants. The sample is natice speaker of Jambi Malay language in Tanjung Raden districk Danau Teluk subdistrict Jambi city. The data are analyzed by using method of distribution analysis. The results of this research show that the characteristic of Jambi Malay language adverbs include; the characteristic of morphological adverbc which can be seen from the words ‘konyok’ which means not because that word does not indicate a hallmark of a word that is undergoing of morphological process or cannot join the affix particle. Meanwhile the characteristic of syntactical adverb can be seen from the word ‘be’ which means ‘just’. From the position of the structure, it can be concluded that the attitude of adverb (b) always follows the word that is explained.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to describe the impact of of quantum learning model towards students ability in writing poetry at class X of accounting major SMK Negeri 2 Jambi City school year 2018/2019. The design of this research uses quasi experiment with a quantitative approach. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling technique of the X-grade students of SMK Negeri 2 Jambi City. It is obtained that class X of accounting 2 as the experimental class and class X of accounting 3 as the control class. The research results show that the average score of the experimental is 80.42 and the average score of control class is 74. After testing the normality test, the experimental class sig score is 0.170 > 0.05 and the control class sig score is 178 > 0.05 (significance level). Thus it can be concluded that the data of the two classes is fall intro category of normal distribution. From the homogeneity test, it is obtained that sig score is 0.462 > of a significant level (α = 0.05) Thus it can be concluded that both classes have the same or homogeneous variants. Hypothesis testing uses SPSS 20 applications. T test of two independent samples shows that SIG T count 0,043 < 0.05 then Ho is rejected Ha is received. So, the results of students ability in writing poetry at class X of Accounting at SMK Negeri 2 Jambi city that use quantum learning model is better than the learning outcomes of students who use conventional learning.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is aimed at describing the aesthetics values that are found in the expression of Riau Malay Custom by Tenas Effendy in the book Tegak Menjaga Tuah, Duduk Memelihara Marwah edited by Makmur Hendrik and friends. Aesthetics value is the element of beauty in literary work and it is a phenomenon of flowers and smells. The beauty is created byan author with language tools through particular language exploration where the author shows the aspects of beauty optimally. This research is qualitative descriptive by using structural and stylistic. The data is taken from aesthetics values in the expression of Riau Malay by Tenas Effendy in the book Tegak Menjaga Tuah, Duduk Memelihara Marwah edited by Makmur Hendrik and friends. Moreover, the conclusion is made besd on the expressions found in that book. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that Tegak Menjaga Tuah, Duduk MemeliharaMarwah book edited by Makmur Hendrik and friends comprises 25 expressions of aesthetic values of Riau Malay.
