Abstract

The Lampung Province holds a strategic position as a connecting route between Sumatra and Java, serving as a land logistics gateway between the islands. The national roads in this province play a crucial role in supporting economic efficiency by reducing time and distribution costs. However, the poor condition of road infrastructure—triggered by low pavement quality and excessive loading hinders trade and transportation activities and worsens interregional integration. This study aims to identify and analyze the main parameters causing road damage and to establish priorities for handling national roads in Lampung Province. Data were obtained through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation from relevant stakeholders. The method used is the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The analysis results indicate six main parameters causing road damage: International Roughness Index (IRI), Pavement Condition Index (PCI), drainage effectiveness, Remaining Service Life (RSL), Average Daily Traffic (LHR), and Vehicle Damage Factor (VDF). Based on AHP weighting, IRI received the highest weight (27%) and is identified as the primary indicator of road damage. The top priority for road maintenance is the Bts Sukamaju – Km 10 Panjang Bandar Lampung section, which stretches for 5 kilometers.

Abstract

Aggregate is the primary component of concrete, comprising 60–75% of its total volume; thus, its quality greatly influences the final performance of the concrete. Technical standards such as SNI 03-2834-2000 and ASTM C33/C33M recommend that aggregates be free from impurities such as silt and clay to ensure proper bonding and long-term durability. However, in small- to medium-scale construction, unwashed aggregates are still commonly used due to economic and logistical constraints. This study aims to evaluate the effect of aggregate cleanliness on compressive strength and explore its practical implications for low-rise residential buildings. The research was conducted through a laboratory experiment using two aggregate conditions (washed and unwashed), a mix ratio of 1:2:3, and compressive strength testing at 7, 14, and 28 days. The results indicate that concrete made with unwashed aggregates exhibited consistently higher compressive strength (by 0.9–1.1 MPa) compared to concrete with washed aggregates. This is likely due to a filler effect from fine particles that enhance the concrete’s density. However, high silt content may still compromise long-term durability. The findings suggest that locally sourced, unwashed aggregates could serve as an alternative for structural concrete in low-rise housing, provided proper quality control and technical validation are implemented.

Abstract

This study analyzes the nonlinear performance of Special Concentrically Braced Steel Frames (SCBF) in high-rise buildings exceeding the height limits stipulated in SNI 1726 (48 meters). Three case studies were selected, which are steel buildings with 48 (for benchmarking), 64, and 80-meter heights. Motivated by the urban demand for space efficiency and the crucial need for seismic resistance in steel structures, this study aims to evaluate the ductility and plastic hinge behavior of SCBF in multi-storey steel buildings. The primary objectives are to analyze SCBF structural performance, compare ductility parameters ) based on design and first yield results, and determine forces and deformations in braces during Design Basis Earthquake (DBE) and Maximum Considered Earthquake (MCE) events. The methodology involves nonlinear pushover analysis using MIDAS GEN 2024 software, including plastic hinge and fiber element modeling. The results indicate that SCBF performance in 48 and 64 m building heights experienced plastic hinge failure in the braces during MCE, yet met DBE limitations. Only the 20-story building satisfied MCE limits. Comparisons of  and  values show consistency with the design plan but are lower at first yield compared to SNI 1726.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengusulkan rancangan prototipe gedung pemadam kebakaran (Damkar) tingkat kelurahan di Jakarta sebagai solusi terhadap tantangan operasional Damkar di wilayah urban dan sub-urban. Latar belakangnya adalah tingginya intensitas kebakaran, distribusi pos Damkar yang belum merata, serta belum adanya standar desain gedung Damkar skala kecil yang adaptif terhadap kebutuhan lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis dan komparatif, dengan metode observasi lapangan, studi pustaka, wawancara, serta analisis spasial berbasis data sebaran kebakaran, aksesibilitas, dan karakteristik lingkungan.Rancangan mengadopsi teori Container Activity untuk efisiensi zonasi ruang dan meningkatkan waktu respons. Hasil rancangan mengintegrasikan tiga fungsi utama: (1) operasional – dengan hubungan langsung ruang siaga, garasi, dan jalur keluar kendaraan; (2) edukatif – melalui ruang pelatihan dan simulasi kebakaran bagi masyarakat; dan (3) fleksibilitas – berupa ruang multifungsi yang bisa disesuaikan untuk kebutuhan darurat. Tapak rancangan berada di Kelurahan Mangga Besar, Jakarta Barat, yang dipilih berdasarkan kepadatan penduduk dan keterbatasan akses Damkar.Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa desain prototipe ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi layanan Damkar sekaligus berfungsi sebagai pusat edukasi kebakaran di tingkat komunitas. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap penyusunan standar desain Damkar skala lokal yang adaptif, efisien, dan kontekstual, serta mendorong pembaruan kebijakan tata ruang dan mitigasi bencana perkotaan.

Abstract

The Mawasangka-Labungkari axis road is located in the Lakudo District area, Central Buton Regency, and is a Southeast Sulawesi Province. The development of the transportation area is one of the pillars supporting the economy of a region that cannot be separated from regional development, as well as at the Lima Labungakari intersection which is an unsignalized intersection where various types of vehicles pass daily, such as motorbikes, cars, trucks, and so on. This study aims to determine the highest traffic volume, namely on Jalan Poros Lolibu-Mawasangka (Segment A) Sundays at 06.00-18.00 the flow is 777.1 pcu/hour, has the highest current value compared to other roads, and the capacity The Lolibu-Mawasangka axis road (segment A) is 2,401.2 pcu/hour, while the Gersamata road produces a capacity of 1,461.6 pcu/hour, while the Lakapera-Waraa Axle Road (Segment C) produces a capacity of 2,270.7 pcu/hour so that it is suitable with the basic vehicle capacity that has been regulated by MKJI 1997, namely 2,900 per lane 2/2 UD and to find out the degree of saturation (DS) value at this research location is below 0.75, namely in segment A it is 0.25, in segment B it is 0.35 and in segment C it is 0.24, so it can mean that this intersection can still serve the vehicles that pass through it well.

Abstract

Water use needs to be balanced with efficient management efforts so that quality and quantity are maintained along with population growth. One of the efforts that can support the maintenance of water quality and quantity is water conservation. Therefore, the role of women as the dominating party in water use and control is important in efforts to improve water conservation. This research uses Regression Analysis with 469 respondents, with the criteria that respondents are women over 16 years old and domiciled in the Jabodetabek area. A descriptive quantitative method is used for this research, by classifying the dependent variables, namely listening intensity, knowledge, so-cialization, implementation, and knowledge distribution. The selected independent variables were age, education, occupation, income, and ethnicity. These variables became the reference in making questionnaire questions to find out the factors that most influence water conserva-tion. The results showed that the knowledge factor possessed by respondents was the main factor influencing the level of awareness in the implementation of water conservation, with a category average value of 4,12. This is supported by the results of the study which show that respondents with a doctoral level of education have a much higher level of awareness than those with a junior high school level of education, with a mean score of 3,36.

Abstract

  Unmonitored road infrastructure conditions can lead to delayed maintenance actions and pose safety risks to road users. This study aims to develop an automated classification system for detecting road damage levels based on visual image data using deep learning methods. Three Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures were evaluated in this research: VGG19, MobileNetV2, and EfficientNetB0. Each model was assessed based on training and validation accuracy, loss values, and confusion matrix performance. Experimental results indicate that the VGG19 and MobileNetV2 model achieved the best performance in classifying road images into four categories: good, moderate, minor damage, and severe damage, showing more stable accuracy and generalization compared to the other models. This model was then integrated into the GIS ASA mobile application, a real-time machine learning-based tool designed to detect road conditions. The classification results from the mobile app are subsequently visualized through the GIS ASA web platform, enabling spatial and interactive monitoring of road damage. This study demonstrates that the application of deep learning technologies offers an efficient solution for road condition mapping and monitoring. Future improvements may include dataset expansion, field validation, and additional GIS features to support more accurate decision-making in transportation infrastructure management.

Abstract

Sertifikat Laik Fungsi merupakan legalitas yang menjadi persyaratan bagi bangunan Gedung suatu kondisi bangunan gedung untuk dapat dimanfaatkan sesuai dengan fungsinya. Persyaratan tersebut mencakup pemenuhan persyaratan administratif dan persyaratan teknis sesuai dengan fungsi bangunan gedung yang diperiksa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menilai kelaikan struktur bangunan hotel di Kabupaten Serang melalui pengujian visual dan pengujian non destructive test menggunakan alat berupa hammer test dan cover meter. Pemeriksaaan secara visual mendapatkan hasil pengujian menunjukkan sebagaian besar elemen struktur berada dalam kategori ”cukup” hingga baik, meskipun menemukan beberapa bagian dengan kualitas ”kurang baik pada balok lantai atas. Pemodelan ulang struktur dilakukan dengan bantuan perangkat lunak dengan hasil menyatakan bahwa struktur dinyatakan aman. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bangunan telah memenuhi persyaratan teknik untuk dapat diterbitkan sertifikat SLF dengan rekomendasi penguatan lokal pada bagian tertentu
