<![CDATA[The aim of this study is to determine local governments' authority over environmental recovery as a result of mining activity. This study employs an empirical normative research method with three approaches: legislative, conceptual, and case-based. The study's findings show that local governments' authority in environmental rehabilitation as a result of mining activities is biased since the local community is not involved. The recovery process must begin with the fulfillment of environmental permits and environmental studies, followed by planning, implementation, and supervision at the exploration, production, and post-mining stages. In the event of environmental pollution, the recovery obligation is transferred to the local mining company/business entity. It is advised that reclamation and post-mining activities be designed in such a way that they become the authority of the government and mining industry actors, with the community as directly associated partners.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the role of the Minahasa Regency General Election Commission (KPU) in ensuring the fulfillment of Minahasa residents' voting rights in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) in accordance with Law No. 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method that focuses on the implementation of duties, authorities, and challenges faced by the KPU in managing the permanent voter list (DPT), election socialization, and providing accessibility for vulnerable groups. The results of the study indicate that the Minahasa Regency KPU has a strategic role in implementing inclusive election stages through voter education programs, factual verification of voter data, and strengthening equal community participation for all levels of citizens including the disabled. However, the lack of voter understanding and technical challenges in the field require integrated solutions.]]>

<![CDATA[Mathematics learning at vocational schools (SMK) should be adjusted to the context and vocation of each so that students can understand mathematics material easily and learning becomes meaningful. However, contextual and vocational-based mathematics teaching materials have not been widely circulated. Therefore, SMK Mathematics teachers must be able to design and make the teaching materials themselves. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to train Mathematics teachers in the Dharmasraya district to be able to design contextual-based Mathematics teaching materials. This activity will be carried out in July and August 2024 in Dharmasraya Regency. This activity was attended by 21 Mathematics teachers of Vocational Schools in Dharmasraya from nine different vocational schools. The activity went smoothly. The teachers participated in the activity with enthusiasm. Based on the results of the satisfaction questionnaire. Participants felt satisfied with the activities carried out. Participants hope that in the future other trainings will also be held that support SMK Mathematics learning.]]>

<![CDATA[The study aims to develop and utilize artificial intelligence (AI) to create Islamic illustrated stories at the Wadas Kelir Creative House Foundation in Purwokerto, Central Java Province. This research employs the ADDIE model as the framework for research and development. It is a type of Research and Development (R&D) focused on developing illustrated story media modules using the artificial intelligence tool DALL-E. The study was conducted at the Wadas Kelir Creative House Foundation in Purwokerto during August-September 2023, with data collection techniques including documentation and questionnaires. The results indicate that the development of Islamic illustrated story modules using DALL-E is highly effective in addressing the challenges faced by students and teachers in creating illustrated stories. The use of artificial intelligence simplifies teacher to process of producing images without requiring expertise in illustration software. The module covers an introduction to Islamic stories and DALL-E, steps for creating Islamic story media with DALL-E, editing and adjusting images, and compiling stories.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to identify regional regulations related to the realization of a conducive and sustainable investment climate in Minahasa Regency. This study is normative with a legislative and analytical approach to evaluate applicable regional regulations. The focus of the research includes analysis of policies governing business permits, management of natural resources, and incentives and legal protection for investors. The results of the study indicate that several regional regulations do not fully support a sustainable investment climate. Overlapping regulations, inconsistencies with national policies, and lack of legal certainty. The recommendation is to harmonize regulations and increase the capacity for policy implementation to strengthen investment attractiveness in this region.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the position and authority of local governments in granting environmental management permits based on applicable laws and regulations. The research method used is normative with a statute approach and conceptual approach. The results of the study indicate that although the authority of local governments in environmental management has been regulated in various regulations, there are various obstacles in its implementation, such as overlapping policies, limited resources, and lack of coordination between the central and regional governments. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen institutional capacity, harmonize policies, and increase community participation in the environmental licensing process in order to achieve sustainable development goals.]]>

<![CDATA[The smart economy is part of the smart city aspect that aims to support economic activities and adapt to the current era of information technology. The most dominant micro businesses in Pancoran Mas District are businesses engaged in the culinary sector. One effort to increase the marketing reach of micro-businesses in Pancoran Mas District, especially in the culinary sector, is by utilizing e-commerce. This study was conducted to determine the differences between income, product sales, and marketing reach before and after the utilization of e-commerce. The method used in this study is the quantitative descriptive method. The results of the study indicate that from the processing of the wilcoxon test, there is a significant difference between income, product sales, and marketing reach before and after the use of e-commerce by culinary micro-businesses actors in Pancoran Mas District, Depok City.]]>

<![CDATA[Based on the results of PISA, the numeracy literacy ability of Indonesian students is very low. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve numeracy literacy both in formal learning institutions such as schools and in non-formal learning institutions such as tutoring and orphanages. One of the orphanages that is used as a place of service is the Al Hidayah Padang Orphanage. There are various limitations in both facilities, infrastructure and experts (teachers) who can guide/accompany children in the dormitory, causing children's numeracy literacy skills to be still relatively low. In addition, motivation to read and learn mathematics needs to be increased again. Therefore, the service team seeks to help the foster children of the Al Hidayah Padang Orphanage to be able to improve their numeracy literacy skills through mentoring activities and creative games.]]>

<![CDATA[Mental health plays an important role in maintaining the sustainability of individual life, including the ability to carry out social roles according to culture. This study aims to explore the literature on the contribution of counseling to individual mental health. The approach employed in this research is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The findings in this study indicate that counseling is effective in overcoming adolescent mental health problems and online counseling is more in demand because it provides comfort and convenience. Early adulthood individuals are more vulnerable to mental health disorders and need professional help or counselors to obtain mental health literacy as a basis for making decisions in dealing with mental health problems experienced. The conclusion that can be drawn in this study is that online counseling has proven to be effective and in demand in helping adolescents overcome mental health problems through professional support that increases literacy for appropriate decision making.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service activity was motivated by the challenges of integrating technology into mathematics learning, as well as the lack of teacher competence and student motivation in this regard. The methods used included identifying target schools, developing training materials, conducting interactive GeoGebra training, and evaluation and monitoring. The results showed that GeoGebra AR training effectively improved students' understanding and teachers' competence. Therefore, it can be concluded that this program succeeded in improving the quality of mathematics learning at SMAN 10 Sijunjung. Suggestions for the future are to conduct further research on the effectiveness of the program and expand the reach of training for teachers in other regions.]]>
