Abstract

Real Analysis is a compulsory subject for students in the 5th semester of the Mathematics education study program at STKIP Adzkia. This study aims to determine the learning difficulties experienced by students of STKIP Adzkia in riil number courses. This research was qualitative research. The research subjects were students of Mathematics STKIP Adzkia 5th semester study program. Data were obtained from observations and tests. The steps of ata analysis techniques were  data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Difficulties experienced by students could be seen from the mistakes made by students when solving riil number problems. The results of this study indicated that the difficulties experienced by students in the material of riil numbers were (1) difficulties in applying the concept; (2) Difficulties in developing concepts that have already been learned; (3) difficulty in performing arithmetic operations; (4) difficulty in using certain procedures; (5) difficulty in constructing ideas or ideas to prove a Mathematical statement.This indicates that there are many difficulties in learning real analysis.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak negatif terhadap pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan secara online. Yang menjadi masalah adalah sulitnya memahami konsep-konsep pada materi pembelajaran matematika. Pendidik diharuskan untuk kreatif dalam memanfaatkan produk teknologi. Salah satunya pemanfaatan stylus pen dan fitur record yang tersedia dalam aplikasi meeting online seperti Google Meet. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap perkuliahan matematika daring dengan menggunakan stylus pen dan fitur record tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 104 mahasiswa STKIP Adzkia yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran matematika online dengan menggunakan stylus pen dan memanfaatkan fitur record yang tersedia pada aplikasi Google Meet. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teknik penggunaan stylus pen dan fitur record ketika pembelajaran matematika online ini dapat berdampak pada pemahaman konsep matematika yang lebih baik, komunikasi matematis, suasana pembelajaran, hasil belajar, dan keefektifan pembelajaran matematika online.

Abstract

Implementing online learning as one of the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic requires teachers to improve their competence, especially in the use of technology. But the reality in the field, the ability of teachers to use technology, especially the use of information technology-based learning media or Information Technology (IT), is still low. This impacts not achieving the maximum learning objectives, especially during the pandemic. One solution to overcome this problem is to provide training in making IT-based learning media for teachers. The IT-based learning media provided were making e-LKPD using the Liveworksheet web, making interesting presentation slides with Prezi, and writing and recording techniques using Android. The purpose of this activity is to improve the competence of teachers in preparing IT-based learning media to achieve maximum learning objectives, especially during a pandemic. The methods used in this training are presentations, demonstrations, practice, and assignments. The result of this training is that teachers can make learning media in e-LKPD, presentation slides with Prezi, and can use writing and screen recording techniques on Android. These training results are that teachers can make IT-based learning media well. The teachers were very enthusiastic about participating in the training because the material presented was still new to them. The survey results showed that the teachers were delighted and felt the benefits of this training. --- Pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara online sebagai salah satu dampak dari pandemi covid-19 menuntut guru-guru untuk meningkatkan kompetensinya terutama dalam penggunaan teknologi. Namun kenyataan di lapangan, kemampuan guru-guru dalam menggunakan teknologi terutama penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi atau  Information Technology (IT) masih rendah. Hal ini berdampak pada belum tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran secara maksimal. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan membuat media pembelajaran berbasis IT kepada guru-guru. Media pembelajaran berbasis IT yang diberikan adalah pembuatan e-LKPD menggunakan web Liveworksheet, pembuatan slide presentasi menarik dengan Prezi, teknik tulis dan rekam layar menggunakan android. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menyiapkan media permbelajaran berbsis IT sebagai upaya agar tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran secara maksimal terutama di masa pandemi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah presentasi, demonstrasi, praktek dan penugasan. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah guru-guru bisa membuat media pembelajaran berupa e-LKPD, slide presentasi dengan Prezi dan mampu menggunakan teknik tulis dan rekam layar pada android. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah, guru-guru bisa membuat media pembelajaran berbasis IT dengan baik. Guru-guru sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan karena materi yang disampaikan masih baru bagi mereka. Dari hasil survey terlihat guru-guru sangat puas dan merasakan manfaat dari pelatihan ini.

Abstract

The Covid-19 era that hit the world had an impact on all aspects of life, one of which had an impact on the world of education. Where the learning process at schools is carried out online, one of which is at SMK N 6 Padang. Since the teaching and learning process is carried out online, teachers usually give assignments such as providing material and practice questions to students via WhatsApp. However, in a process like this, learning becomes monotonous and sometimes makes students lazy to learn. The ability of teachers to create IT-based learning media is also still limited. Meanwhile, in the digital era, a teacher is required to be able to adapt and take advantage of existing technology to improve the quality of learning. Therefore, training is given to teachers in schools to create animation-based learning videos using the Animaker application. The method used in this training is a demonstration and direct practice for teachers with assistance in making learning videos. This training is intended so that teachers at SMK N 6 Padang can make interesting learning videos so that students become more enthusiastic in participating in the learning process even though they are online. Besides, this activity is also a support for the school digitization program. The result of this training is that teachers can create animation-based learning videos using the Animaker application

Abstract

This research was motivated by the anxiety of students of mathematics education study program towards HOTS mathematics problems. This anxiety affected the quality of their thought processes. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze the thought processes of students with anxiety feeling about HOTS math problems based on Mason's work phases, namely entry, attack, and review. This research was a qualitative descriptive research. The datas in this study were obtained from mathematics anxiety questionnaire, HOTS mathematics test and interviews. Based on the analysis of the data collected, it could be concluded that students with high levels of anxiety fulfill the phase “entry“ only on aspect “want”, the phase “attack” was only in the aspect ”try”, but did not meet the phase “review”. Students with moderate levels of anxiety met the phase “entry” at aspect “know”, “want” and “introduce”, phase “attack” on the aspect “try” and “maybe”, but did not meet the phase “review”. Students with low anxiety levels met the phase “entry” at aspect “know”, “want” and “introduce”, the phase “attack” on the aspects “try”, “maybe” and “introduce”, but also does not meet the phase “review”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menerapkan Problem Based Learning. Jenisnya adalah pre-expremental reasearch dan rancangannya one-group pretest-postest design. Populasi adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Rao Selatan. Pengambilan sebuah kelas sebagai sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen berupa soal tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis berbentuk essai yang valid dan reliabel. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif, serta uji paired sampel t test dan N-gain. Hasilnya, menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dengan menerapkan PBL.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar serta pengetahuan matematika santri di Panti Asuhan Aisyiah melalui kegiatan pembuatan Pojok Literasi Numerasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah demonstrasi dan diskusi kelompok. Ruangan belajar santri di panti dirubah menjadi sebuah pojok literasi numerasi yang didekorasi dengan media pembelajaran matematika. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 3 Juni 2022 dan melibatkan santri dan pembina di Panti Asuhan Aisyiah sebagai sasaran. Setelah melaksanakan kegiatan, angket yang disebar menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan santri yang tinggi dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 4,15. Selain itu, santri dan pembina juga menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi terhadap kedatangan tim dan meminta adanya bimbingan lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar matematika. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pembuatan Pojok Literasi Numerasi efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar serta pengetahuan matematika santri di Panti Asuhan Aisyiah. Rekomendasi dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk melanjutkan bimbingan lanjutan guna semakin mendorong semangat dan keterampilan belajar matematika santri di Panti Asuhan Aisyiah

Abstract

Because of Corona virus or Covid 19 has infected many people in various countries including Indonesia, The Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia made a policy of number 4 in 2020 for studying at home online. This is done to break the chain of spreading the Corona virus. Online learning poses its own challenges for many groups including lecturers and students. Various methods and online learning applications are carried out in order to achieve maximum learning objectives. Among these applications are Google classroom and Google meet video conference. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of students in online learning. The subjects of this study were 9 students of the mathematics education study program who were taking elementary linear algebra courses. This research is qualitative research. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire. Then the data were analyzed using 3 steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study were the most students thought that online learning using Google classrooms and Google meet video conversion was good in several aspects, namely ease of access to applications, the suitability of learning time, interactions between lecturers and students, independence and student activity, implementation of learning and clarity of learning materials.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic affects various aspects of life including education. This has an impact on learning activities that were previously carried out face-to-face to virtual, online or online learning. Online learning is a challenge for both lecturers and students. One of the challenges is the ability of lecturers and students to use technology to support online learning. The selection of methods and the use of various online learning media is carried out so that the learning objectives are maximally achieved. One of the media used to achieve these learning objectives is Prezi media. This media is used during presentations and group discussions. This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the use of Prezi media in the SD assessment course. The research subjects were 32 students of the PGSD study program. This research is a qualitative research. The data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are that the benefits of Prezi media can be felt and can be used to support students in achieving learning objectives from the aspects of ease of understanding the material, the effectiveness of learning time, attractiveness and usefulness.

Abstract

During the pandemic STKIP Adzkia student learning was conducted online. The types of questions given to students are different from before the pandemic. During the Pandemic, the questions were given using the open book method. The open book method also affects the questions given to students. These questions are not questions of type C.1 and C.2, on bloom's taxonomy which they can easily find on the internet or in existing references. These questions must be questions that require answers that require arguments from students. Of course, these questions also need to be studied in depth whether these questions are able to distinguish students' abilities correctly and accurately. If the question is able to distinguish the student's ability, how accurately the question is able to distinguish the student's ability. How far is the quality of the questions in differentiating students' abilities? After analyzing the 8 items, there are 5 items that are valid and reliable. And the five questions were analyzed, it was found that the 5 items were questions with good distinguishing power.
