Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in utilizing the Tajwid Archer educational game as a supporting medium in teaching tajwid at SMP Negeri 1 Kebonagung, Pacitan Regency. This research focuses on analyzing teachers' strategies at all stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation, as well as identifying supporting and inhibiting factors that affect the integration of digital game-based media in tajwid learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through classroom observations, structured interviews, and documentation involving Islamic Religious Education teachers, students, and principals. The validity of the data is ensured through source triangulation and triangulation techniques to obtain credible and systematic findings. The findings reveal that teachers apply structured strategies in three main stages. In the planning stage, the teacher harmonizes the tajwid material, especially the rules of nun sukun and mim breadfruit with interactive game features and technical and pedagogical aspects prepared. In the implementation stage, teachers integrate conceptual explanations with game-based practices, encouraging active participation, motivation, and independent learning. At the evaluation stage, teachers conduct reflective assessments through score monitoring, oral questions, and feedback, which show an improvement in students' understanding of tajweed rules and their learning engagement. Supporting factors include teachers' digital competence, institutional support, and adequate facilities, while inhibiting factors include administrative constraints, uneven device ownership, and internet dependence.

Abstract

This study aims to prove empirically how the implementation of the SKUA Program is able to shape students' religious values through a systematic process of internalizing values. Using an explanatory quantitative approach, data were collected from 112 grade VII students at MTsN 3 Pacitan through stratified proportional random sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out by simple linear regression to measure the extent to which the SKUA program has an effect in increasing the formation of students' religious values. The results of the study revealed that the implementation of the SKUA Program has a positive and significant impact on the formation of students' religious values in an integrated manner. The important findings of this research confirm that the strength of SKUA lies in the incorporation of the four main pillars of the Qur'an: Hadith, Fiqh, Moral Faith, and Dhikr and Daily Prayer into one consistent evaluation system. The implication of this research emphasizes that Islamic education in madrassas will achieve optimal success if it is able to ensure that religious values are not only remembered intellectually, but are formed and practiced functionally in daily life.

Abstract

The low learning motivation of students in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (ISCH) remains a significant issue in the madrasah environment, especially when learning is monotonous, lecture-centered, and does not provide a comfortable learning atmosphere. In this context, the suggestopedia method is considered relevant because it emphasizes relaxation, positive suggestions, a pleasant classroom atmosphere, and supportive pedagogical interactions. This study aims to explain in depth the implementation of the suggestopedia method in ISCH learning at MTs. N 3 Gorontalo Regency and reveal its contribution to increasing student learning motivation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The results show that the implementation of suggestopedia contributes to increasing student learning motivation in ISCH subjects. The implications of this study emphasize that increasing learning motivation in ISCH learning is not only determined by the variety of methods, but also by the teacher's ability to build a safe, calm, and meaningful learning atmosphere. Therefore, suggestopedia can be considered as a relevant pedagogical alternative in strengthening the quality of learning in madrasahs.

Abstract

Differences in religious understanding in Islam often have an impact on educational practices that are less balanced between normative and contextual aspects. This shows the importance of understanding the relationship between absolute truth and relative truth in the development of Islamic education. This research aims to analyze the concept of absolute and relative truth and its implications for Islamic education. The method used is qualitative research with a library research approach, using primary sources of the Qur'an and hadith as well as scientific literature as secondary sources. The results of the study show that absolute truth functions as the foundation of fixed educational values and goals, while relative truth plays a role in the development of contextual educational methods and implementation. This finding confirms the importance of a balance between the two in building Islamic education that is relevant to the times. Therefore, the development of Islamic education needs to integrate normative values with adaptive approaches in order to produce learning that is critical, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the content of al-Azkar and to identify the moral educational values contained within it, as well as to examine its relevance to modern Islamic education. This research employs a qualitative approach with a library research design. The primary data source is the book al-Azkar by Imam an-Nawawi ad-Dimasyqi, which is analyzed using the content analysis method to uncover the moral educational values embedded in the text. The findings indicate that al-Azkar contains hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad Saw related to daily practices of dhikr and supplication, which are rich in moral educational values. These values include: (1) morals toward Allah Saw such as tawhid (monotheism), piety, sincerity, gratitude, patience, trust in God (tawakkul), and repentance; (2) morals toward the Prophet Saw in the form of respect and love; (3) morals toward fellow human beings such as devotion to parents, respect for teachers, and maintaining good relationships within family and society; (4) inner morals such as humility (tawadu’), cooperation (ta’awun), tolerance (tasamuh), and positive thinking (husn al-?ann); and (5) morals toward other creatures, including ethical treatment of animals.

Abstract

Curriculum transformation toward deep learning is often hampered by school management that remains administratively linear. This study aims to analyze strategies for reorienting curriculum management in elementary schools to support a deep learning ecosystem that focuses on essential material and character (6C). The method used was a systematic literature review of policy documents and reputable scientific articles for the 2021-2026 period. Data were analyzed using thematic techniques to identify patterns of management paradigm shifts. The results indicate that schedule flexibility, strengthening professional learning communities, and optimizing technology are key pillars of successful transformation. These findings emphasize the need for a management paradigm shift from "content completion" to "competency mastery" to improve student literacy and numeracy. The implications of this research emphasize that managerial autonomy at the educational unit level is an absolute prerequisite for successful curriculum implementation in elementary schools.

Abstract

The low level of reading literacy and character development in Indonesia has become a serious challenge in contemporary Islamic education, particularly in Lamongan City. This study aims to analyze the contribution of free reading activities in shaping literacy character and religious values among members of the moco.bareng reading community at Lamongan Town Square. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with community members, and field documentation. The results indicate that the moco.bareng community plays a significant role in transforming the character of its members through three main dimensions: cognitive (information analysis skills), professional (public speaking and managerial skills), and religiosity (internalization of spiritual values in literacy activities). Therefore, this community demonstrates that public spaces can effectively function as laboratories for character education that integrate intellectual intelligence with religious values within a non-formal education context.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a digital e-module in Marriage Guidance (Bimbingan Perkawinan) as an innovative learning medium and to examine its impact on participants’ understanding, motivation, and internalization of sakinah family values. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach supported by quantitative data. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires distributed via Google Forms, and documentation, and were analyzed descriptively using percentage techniques. The findings indicate that the digital e-module was effectively implemented as a flexible and interactive learning medium in a flipbook format accessible through QR codes. Participants demonstrated positive learning responses, reflected in ease of access, improved understanding of sakinah family concepts, and a strong intention to apply these values in their future marital life. The e-module also promotes independent and reflective learning, enabling deeper internalization of Islamic family values.
