Religion as a cultural element at one believed by its adherents as a revelation from God. However, it must be accepted that the fact that religion is a divine revelation was revealed to mankind in time and particular culture. The elements of the local culture, however, form the character of a religion. At the same time religions also donate a certain value in culture. Therefore, there is a continuous dialectic between culture and religion that makes religion and culture can continue to grow for a better human life. However, in reality there is not necessarily a good dialogue between religions and cultures. Especially when religion claim that their religion is the only bearer of truth and goodness. As a result not infrequent conflict between religion and culture.

Perkembangan teknologi telekomunikasi dan teknologi komputer yang begitu pesat telah memberikan fasilitas-fasilitas yang memberi kemudahan bagi pengguna dalam memanfaatkan teknologi ini. Sistem yang berbasis digital mampu memberikan kemampuan integrasi yang tinggi, sehingga antara satu peralatan dengan peralatan yang lainnya dapat saling dihubungkan. Salah satu hasil dari kemajuan teknologi telekomunikasi adalah SMS (Short Message Service). Dengan menggunakan SMS, pengguna dapat melakukan hubungan komunikasi secara mudah, cepat dan tentu dengan biaya yang lebih murah, selain itu dapat dilakukan dimana saja dan kapan saja dengan menggunakan telepon seluler. SMS umumnya merupakan layanan wireless yang dapat mengirim pesan alpanumerik antara pengguna mobile dan sistem eksternal seperti e-mail, paging, sistem voicemail. Penulisan ini akan merencanakan dan mengimplementasikan suatu sistem yang dapat melakukan registrasi perkuliahan pada STIKOM Yos Sudarso Purwokerto dengan menggunakan SMS. Registrasi kuliah ini berfungsi sebagai aktifitas pembayaran (daftar ulang) dan aktifitas pemilihan mata kuliah dan kelas yang akan diambil oleh mahasiswa dalam satu semester tertentu.

The aim of this research is to design and implement a programmable automatic lighting control system. The system consists of microcontroller hardware that handle lighting to turn on or turn off based on schedule. The schedule made by software application on personal computer (PC). RTC (Real-Time Clock) was used to establish timing in real time world, in order to compare with time data has been programed. In addition, USB (unversal Serial Bus) was used to establish communication between PC and the device, in order to program the schedule data in the device, so the lighting turn on or turn off schedule that runs can be customized by user. The result of the research showed that the schedule in the device, as well as in the PC, was running well, leading us to the conclusion that the programmable automatic lighting control system can be used in real life.

This research entitled : "Management System Information for Region Development Planning at The Office of Region Development Planning (Bappeda) of Brebes Regency” . This research was aimed to describe application of management information system in development planning of Brebes Regency was conducted in Bappeda of Brebes Regency. This research was conducted in Bappeda of Brebes Regency as leading sector in development planning. Research’s target is apparatus of Bappeda of Brebes Regency. Research method used qualitative method, sampling method used purposive technique, data collecting method used in depth interview, observation and documentation. Data analyzed technique used interactive model analysis. Result of research showed that development planning process Bappeda of Brebes Regency done by convergence of top down and bottom up mechanism. Top down planning done through data synchronization about development planning program which released by central government through passing Propenas and province government through Province Propeda. For a while, bottom up mechanism done by data collected by SKPD, result of Musrenbang, public aspiration. Through top down and bottom up mechanism so the development planning earn as according to public aspiration and or local real needed and the other side do not oppose against the development program which have been marked by vertical government. Application of information system in compilation development planning in Bappeda of Brebes Regency done by computer using as main peripheral functioned to process the input and data processing. But, the computer exploiting not yet been supported with a special software designed for the activity of development planning. Process of the input and processing still be done manually program by using Microsoft Excell Program.

Peningkatan kualitas Perguruan tinggi pada saat ini merupakan hal yang paling penting. Untuk tujuan itu diperlukan evaluasi, perencanaan dan pengambilan keputusan yang baik bagi eksekutif di pendidikan tinggi dengan adanya informasi dan pengetahuan yang cukup tentang perguruan tinggi tersebut. Informasi itu dapat diperoleh dengan cara mengektrak dari data operasional yang telah tersimpan dalam database. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pembuatan data warehouse dan analisis data menggunakan data mining. Data warehouse adalah database yang didesain untuk meyimpan informasi yang relevan dalam suatu lokasi yang terpusat untuk mendukung para pengambil keputusan. Sedangkan data mining adalah tool yang membantu managemen dan para pengambil keputusan mengubah data mentah dari data warehouse menjadi suatu informasi yang memiliki makna. Tool dari data mining bisa menjelankan query yang sederhana pada sebuah data menggunakan tool yang canggih yang akan otomatis mencari hubungan yang relevan di dalam suatu data warehouse. Penelitian ini membangun perancangan data warehouse dan penerapan teknik data mining untuk data akademik di Universitas Jenderal Soedirman untuk menggali informasi-informasi yang penting dan membangun model yang dapat membantu operasional sehari-hari agar dapat memberikan keputusan yang baik bagi peningkatan akademik. Proses penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara membangun data warehouse kemudian dibuat analisa data menggunakan teknik data mining menggunakan perangkat lunak opensource Weka. Weka adalah perangkat lunak open source yang dikeluarkan di bawah GNU General Public License. Weka memiliki koleksi algoritma data mining untuk tugas-tugas data mining. Perangkat lunak ini memiliki tools untuk data pre-processing, classification, regression, clustering, association rules, dan visualization. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pengembangan data warehouse dengan analisis data berupa reporting yang dihasilkan dari perangkat lunak opensource weka. Analisis data meggunakan teknik data mining untuk menghasilkan proses pembelaran yang optimal bagi setiap fakultas dalam memberikan pengajaran kepada mahasiswa.

Management Information System dikembangkan di Badan Penanaman Modal Dan Pelayanan Perizinan Kabupaten Banyumas melalui implementasi teknologi informasi (TI) sehingga praktek administrasi perizinan yang sarat dengan verifikasi manual dapat digantikan dengan verifikasi elektronik Hal yang diperhatikan pada pengumpulan fungsi-fungsi yang diperlukan pada rancang bangun Sistem Informasi Perizinan Badan Penanaman Modal Dan Pelayanan Perizinan Kabupaten Banyumas menggunakan pendekatan paradigm pemrograman berorientasi objek meliputi proses berkas permohonan masuk beserta disposisinya, proses surat keputusan dan metode pengolahan perizinan. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat hubungan antara perangkat lunak yang dirancang dengan lingkungan eksternalnya yang sangat membantu memutuskan bagaimana seharusnya menyediakan fungsionalitas sistem sesuai dengan permintaan user dan bagaimana menstruktur sistem sehingga dapat berkomunikasi secara efektif dengan lingkungannya.

The aim of this research is to design and implement a programmable Ring Tone Text Transfer Language (RTTTL) player. The system consists of microcontroller hardware that produce custom musics from RTTTL data format that programmable using personal computer (PC). USB (unversal Serial Bus) was used to establish communication between PC and the device, in order to program the music data in the device, so the vary music can be customized by user. The result of the research showed that the music in the device can be played and reprogramming using PC.

In recent years, robots have captured the interest of more and more people. In the entertainment industry , robot has been developed in various style. One of it is robot that have shape and behavior like insect. Based on that reason, writer wants to make a robot that has a unique form. This kind of robot have a creative and imaginative design , of course it is supported by appropriate capability. This robot also have ability to calculate distance and avoid an obstacle that required by robot which works in frequently disturbed path. Range Detector Wire Leg Robot Base on AT89S51 use infrared detector as distance and obstacle detector. As infrared receiver used an infrared module GP1U52X . The range between the obstacle and robot is gotten by measuring the strength of the reflected burst of infrared light. The result of distance measurement is used by microcontroller to decide direction of robot movement. DC motor used to move the robot for DC motor driver used L293D IC’s. The research shows that wire leg robot can detect obstacle distance in front of it based on strength of the infrared reflected burst (near , medium and far distance) . From that detection result, wire leg robot can make movement to avoid the obstacle. Object used as an distance detector reference must not have slippery surface / flat

This research was aim to recognize and analyzed the influence of motivation, compensation, training and leadership toward nurse nurse performance. Hypothesis was proposed is motivation, compensation, training and leadership, both partially and simultantly, has significant influence toward nurse performance. Analysis instrument that used in this research was path analysis. To examine hypothesis used F-test, t-test, and path coefficient. The results of research showed that variebles of motivation, compensation, training and leadership, both partially and simultantly, has significant influence toward nurse performance. It was proved by value of F-test and t-test, has bigger than F-table and t-table in level of significance 95%. Then, variable of compensation has biggest proportionally influenced toward nurse performance, compared by motivation, training and leadership. Based from the result, hypothesis proposed was accepted. Based from results of this research, so direct supervision and also head of institution require to give motivation and also byword to growing up the motivation of nurse, compensation more paid attention, training to be more intensified, and applied of leadership style matched with work environment.

Dynamic growth that happened claim the organization to can to expand and adapt to the actual growth that happened. That way also in higher education management, what ever always to expand to. In relation of those things, this research was aim to for describe and analyse the development of Wijayakusuma University Purwokerto in the effort to become certifiable private college. Research method used qualitative. Data collecting method used indepth interview, observation, and documentation. Informan chosen done by purposive. Data analyse used interactive model of analysis and data validity used triangulation with model source. Wijayakusuma University have developed a number of steps and policis in order to organizational development so that can become the certifiable private college. In HELTS framework, the effort of organizational development in Wijayakusuma University done by make-up of competitiveness, decentralize and autonomous and also organizational health. Various effort which have the in the reality not yet earned to give the significant contribution to university progress. Degradation sum up the student still be happened. It was indicated the low enthusiasm of society to become Wijayakusuma University student. Endless internal conflict and negativity perception expanding in society to Wijayakusuma University and also low competitiveness likely still become the dominant factor making Wijayakusuma University not yet earned to awaken from down.
