Abstract

Several studies have found that many business activities ignore human values and damage the environment. This condition shows that business people ignore the spiritual factors in their activities. Therefore, it is a question of whether it is possible to combine business with spirituality so that business brings blessings to other people and their environment. The notion that business is contrary to religion has long been happening. Karl Mark considers that religion is an obstacle to economic development. However, Marx Weber's research proves that Protestantism in Europe and America can be a driver for the birth of capitalism. The modern economic theory finds that we will find saints, mystics, or Sufis in companies in the era of global markets. The business spiritual has taught that business is not just a matter of making money. However, there must be a balance between spiritual and material values and respect for the human condition of future generations. In Islam, the union of business with the spiritual is not new. This fact is very clearly exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad. and his friends. The Prophet and the Companions did not separate business activities from spiritual values. A healthy business brings balance, as stated in Surah Ar-Rahman verses 7-9; the earth and sky were created in balance. Humans are prohibited from destroying the balance. In modern science, Elkington describes this balance in what is referred to as the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) between Profit, People, and Planet. To achieve the entire balance, Elkington's TBL in 3P (Profit, People, and Planet) must be added by 1 P, which is Prophet (Prophet). This Prophet guides business people to have spirituality, which is always their strength and awareness.

Abstract

The word theology comes from the Greek word theos which means God, and logos which means words. Thus theology means words or knowledge about God. The body can say or show or remind something about God as the ruler of human body and life. Reflection on body can bring people to the knowledge of God. The experience of lengger dancers working on the body makes them believe in the existence of God as the origin of his body, even though they did not dare to expressly mention the name of Allah behind all of these experiences. Body work experience gives them confidence that there is something behind this visible physical body. However, the human body is not only owned by a person, but has become a sign system of community culture. The body no longer only has the meaning of itself, but also must obey the general norms that apply in the society where a person lives. The meaning of the lengger dancer's body is very dependent on the interpretation of the surrounding community, the majority of whom are Muslim. While Islam teaches that the body, especially the female body, must be protected because it has the potential to bring sin. However, the community's interpretation of the body is not monolithic. The situation and culture in which they live determines the interpretation of how to treat the female body. This is where there is often a value tension between Islamic teachings and traditional values.

Abstract

A person’s body is the most essential of the person’s belonging. However, the body itself is not only one’s private belonging, but it has become a sign system of a culture in a certain society. Not only does the body have specific meaning for himself, but it also has social and even transcendental dimension. For Indonesians, Ethics-related to human bodies nowadays seems to be the highest hierarchy of public morality. One’s body is often accused to be the cause of moral destruction of the nation’s later generation. As a further result, people feel uncertain, even anxious to explore their own body because they ultimately have to deal with the groups who have opposing views. Legger dance as an art that explores the dancer’s body often has to deal with the moral judgments of the society, especially the religious believer groups. The existence of Lengger dance as a traditional art is highly depended on the views of its supporting groups about one’s body. Meanwhile, the construction of public views on one’s body to support Lengger dance is intensively affected by those who have authority to make public opinion about one’ body. Those who have the authority will define and control one’s body in the society and decide the meaning of it according to their point of view and interests. Therefore, one’s body can be personal body that can be trained for the sake of religion, politics and economics. One’s body can enter into negotiation and conflictive battlefield. On the other hand, it does not mean that the discourse about one’s body only has mono- interpretation. It is a fact that art and culture has its own specific autonomy. The Lengger dancers have their point of view about one’s body, and they greatly give specific meaning about one’s body in relation to other persons and to the transcendence. And so, it is important to write down one’s personal experience in the study about one’s body in the Lengger dance. Dealing with the transcendence, Lengger dancers take captive the divine aspects in their own body language. They believe that one’s body is the creation of God, so the hand of the Creator can easily be found in one’s body. This believe becomes a challenge for Lengger artists how to make their own body movement help other persons come to God. The Lengger dancers need to transform their own body, so the body language can make people know one’s body better, and then it comes to recognize God, the Creator, through their body language, instead of thinking about eroticism that makes people lose their mind to believe in God in their own inner body. In addition, it is also important to establish the new meanings and discourses continuously, then there must be a hard attempt to renew the Lengger dance style, so the dance style of Lengger matches to the new meaning and discourse.

Abstract

Religion as a cultural element at one believed by its adherents as a revelation from God. However, it must be accepted that the fact that religion is a divine revelation was revealed to mankind in time and particular culture. The elements of the local culture, however, form the character of a religion. At the same time religions also donate a certain value in culture. Therefore, there is a continuous dialectic between culture and religion that makes religion and culture can continue to grow for a better human life. However, in reality there is not necessarily a good dialogue between religions and cultures. Especially when religion claim that their religion is the only bearer of truth and goodness. As a result not infrequent conflict between religion and culture.

Abstract

The largest source of waste is from settlements, the composition is 75% consisting of organic waste and only 25% inorganic waste. Organic waste has been widely used as material for making compost, briquettes and biogas, but inorganic waste is still very poorly managed. Inorganic waste is very difficult to be degraded and even cannot be degraded at all by nature, therefore a very large area is needed to compensate for the production of this type of waste. The most common inorganic waste found in the community is plastic waste. In 2018 the production of plastic waste for packaging reached 925,000 tons and about 80% of it has the potential to become waste that is harmful to the environment. Exposure to additives in plastics (plasticizers) has a wide impact on health, especially for the fetus and child. Plastics are widely used as food and beverage packaging. Knowing how to choose and use the right type of plastic that will come into contact with food is important to avoid the risk of exposure to harmful chemicals in plastic. This service program aims to educate about the impact of plasticizers on health through public education programs targeted at community leaders around the Bhayangkara University, Jakarta Raya Bekasi. Education is delivered in the local language and is followed by free discussion with participants via virtual. Response analysis showed that most of the participants did not know how to use plastic properly as food and beverage packaging and did not know the classification of plastics. However, most agree that the use of plastics should be limited in food processing and that children are susceptible to the dangers of plasticizers. Educational results show a change in participant responses. It was concluded that this educational program effectively modified participants' attitudes and knowledge about the risks of using plastic in the processing and packaging of food and beverage products.
