Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kemampuan representasi matematis siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap pada materi teori Pythagoras dengan menggunakan strategi visual, simbolik, dan verbal. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 36 siswa kelas X. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, laporan, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil tes, kemampuan representasi siswa perlu ditingkatkan dengan ambang batas 43% untuk kategori rendah. Kemampuan representasi visual siswa hanya 36%, sedangkan representasi verbal dan simboliknya jauh lebih tinggi, masing-masing sebesar 42% dan 50%. Mampu menjawab pertanyaan dengan jujur, tetapi terkadang mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenali dan memadukan representasi verbal, simbolik, dan visual. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan pemahaman teorema Pythagoras, perlu dilakukan peningkatan pemahaman dan komunikasi berbagai representasi matematika. Temuan ini menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan pemahaman dan penerjemahan antar berbagai bentuk representasi matematika untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep teorema Pythagoras.

The purpose of this study is to identify the misconceptions of studen questions about power numbers and causative factors in class IXB MTs Nurul Hasani Teluk Batang. The method used in this research is a descriptive method in the form of case study research. Subject the research is as many as 15 students of class IXB MTS Nurul Hasani Teluk Batang. The instrument used in this research is a three-tier diagnostic Test and interview guidelines. Based on the result of the research carried out obtained by students who experienced the misconception of specialization as much as 10 students or 45% of 22 students and misconceptions generalization of 5 students or 23% of 22 students. The cause of the misconception of the students in this study is reasoning or wrong/ incomplete reasoning and students' ability. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-regulated learning and students' mathematical creative thinking skills. This study has independent variables and dependent variables, namely self- regulated learning and mathematical creative thinking skills. This study is a quantitative study. The sample of the study was grade IX-A students of SMPN 9 Pontianak. The number of samples in this study was 31 students. Independent learning was measured by an independent learning questionnaire based on the theory of Lestari and Yudhanegara. Data on students' mathematical creative thinking skills were obtained based on a creative thinking ability test on fraction material. The data analysis technique used was Spearman's rank correlation analysis with a significance level of 0.05. Perception is the process of assigning meaning to various stimuli received by the senses, then organizing them to form a structured and meaningful picture, and finally resulting in an understanding of a situation. Additionally, motivation to learn mathematics is also an important factor in achieving optimal learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between students' perceptions of mathematics learning and their motivation to learn mathematics using the quantitative method of Pearson correlation test. The data collection technique involves perception questionnaires to measure students' perceptions and motivation questionnaires to measure students' learning motivation. The population in this study consists of 10th-grade students 2024/2025. Using the simple random sampling technique, a sample of 33 students was obtained. It can be concluded from the research results and data that have been analyzed that the results of the correlation coefficient (r) are 0.803 and the coefficient of determination (R square) is 0.64. This indicates that there is a very strong relationship between students' perceptions of learning mathematics and their motivation to learn and the contribution of students' perceptions to students' learning motivation is 64%

Mathematics is one of the most important subjects in various fields of science, but it is often considered difficult by students, especially in matrix materials. Mathematical problem solving, using the Polya approach, is essential in understanding this topic. However, many students face obstacles, such as a lack of confidence and motivation. Mathematical resilience, which involves unyielding and self-confidence, plays a very important role in overcoming these difficulties. This study aims to determine the relationship between mathematical resilience and problem-solving ability of high school students, especially in matrix materials. Using a correlational approach, this research investigates how Class XI mathematics specialisation students at MAN 2 Pontianak relate to one another in terms of mathematical resilience and problem-solving abilities as they pertain to solving Matrix narrative issues. This research used a sample of seventy-eight students enrolled in the school's mathematics specialisation course. Both test and non-test equipment were used to gather data. The first tool is a test consisting of three questions designed to assess students' problem-solving abilities; the second tool is a questionnaire consisting of thirty items designed to assess students' mathematical resilience on a Likert scale. The Spearman correlation test is used for data analysis. An study yielded a correlation value of 0.256, suggesting a weakly positive association between mathematical resilience and problem-solving abilities.

The goal of this study is to investigate the relationship between high school students' self-efficacy and capacity to solve trigonometric problems.This study is an example of correlational ex post facto research that was developed using a quantitative methodology. All of the research participants were in class XG SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak. The method entails giving a self-efficacy test and an essay-based assessment of a person's ability to solve math problems. The results showed that both the students' self-efficacy and their capacity for solving mathematical problems were in the middle range. To identify the association between the two variables, data analysis was performed. The data exhibits a linear correlation and is normally distributed. The Pearson Product Moment Test was then used to do a correlation analysis. The results of the tests were Sig.(2-tailed)

Education plays a crucial role in the advancement of a nation, and learning motivation as well as the spirit of cooperation are key factors in the learning process. This study aims to investigate the relationship between the spirit of cooperation and mathematics learning motivation among students at MA Al-Mustaqim. The research employs a quantitative approach using a correlational method, involving 25 students, with 9 students from class XI and 16 students from class XII IPA as the sample. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires measuring the spirit of cooperation and learning motivation using a Likert scale. The analysis results indicate that the spirit of cooperation data do not follow a normal distribution, while the learning motivation data do. Statistical testing using Spearman Rank correlation yielded a significance value of 0.006, indicating a significant relationship between the spirit of cooperation and mathematics learning motivation, with a correlation coefficient of 0.536, categorized as strong. This research is expected to provide references for teachers in enhancing the quality of the teaching and learning process.

Siswa kelas XI SMA diharuskan mempunyai pembentukan karakter yang dapat membentuk konsep diri sehingga memiliki kepercayaan diri dalam memanajemen diri untuk mencapai hasil akademik secara optimal pada kurikulum merdeka ini. Tujuan kajian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antar kedua variabel independent dengan variabel dependent yaitu pemahaman matematis pada materi Matriks. Digunakan pendekatan korelasional dengan metode kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel penelitian 34 siswa yang menjadi responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Uji validitas, relibilitas, normalitas, linieritas serta analisis korelasi pearson dan uji korelasi ganda. Didapatkan bahwa tingkat korelasi kearah yang positif dengan kategori kuat antar self-concept dengn pemahaman matematis, hubungan positif self-confidence dengan pemahaman matematis serta didapatkan hubungan kuat antara ketiga variabel. Oleh karena itu, dengan adanya self-concept yang baik maka self-confidence juga baik sehingga berhubungan kepada pemahaman matematis siswa pada materi Matriks. Dapat asumsikan bahwa hubungan self-concept dan self-confidence dalam kriteria kuat ke arah yang positif dalam mencapai pemahaman matematis siswa pada pembelajaran matematika.

This study aimed to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematical concept understanding among tenth-grade students at SMKN 3 Pontianak. Using a quantitative approach with correlational design, the research involved 36 students selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using an emotional intelligence questionnaire consisting of 25 items and a mathematical concept understanding test with 7 items. The results showed that 22.22% of students had high emotional intelligence, 55.56% moderate, and 22.22% low. Similarly, for mathematical concept understanding, 25% of students were in the high category, 63.89% in moderate, and 11.11% in low category. Statistical analysis revealed a significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and mathematical concept understanding (r = 0.780, p < 0.01). This indicates that students with higher emotional intelligence tend to demonstrate better understanding of mathematical concepts. The findings suggest the importance of considering emotional intelligence development in mathematics education to enhance students' conceptual understanding.

This study aims to describe the ability of grade X students at SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak in solving trigonometry story problems based on Polya's stages, viewed from the level of mathematical ability. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection technique used a test in the form of an essay for students in class X TKR B at SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak and interviews conducted with 6 students, with 2 students each from the high, medium and low mathematics ability levels. The results of the study indicate that students with high and moderate mathematical ability are able to perform the problem-understanding stage, but not all students with low mathematical ability are able to perform the problem-understanding stage. Not all students with moderate mathematical ability are able to perform the planning stage, and students with low mathematical ability are not yet able to perform the planning stage. Not all students with high and moderate mathematical ability are able to carry out the plan implementation stage accurately, and students with low mathematical ability are not yet able to carry out the plan implementation stage. Not all students with high mathematical ability are able to carry out the review stage, and students with moderate and low mathematical ability are not yet able to carry out the review stage.
