Abstract

Peranan matematika dalam bidang ekonomi dan bisnis sangatlah besar, di antaranya dalam meramalkan suatu kejadian yang terkait dengan perubahan suatu variabel. Perubahan variable-variabel tersebut dituangkan dalam suatu fungsi seperti fungsi biaya, pendapatan, laba, dan lainnya. Diperlukan pemahaman yang baik dari mahasiswa untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan terkait optimasi fungsi-fungsi tersebut. Namun demikian, mahasiswa pada program studi manajemen masih mengalami beberapa hambatan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hambatan berupa kesulitan dan kesalahan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan persoalan terkait optimasi fungsi ditinjau dari taksonomi SOLO. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian pendekatan kualitatif ini adalah deskpritif. Adapun subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa tahun pertama yang mengambil matakuliah matematika bisnis pada salah satu universitas di Kota Bandung. Partisipan dalam penelitian selanjutnya dipilih secara purposive yang memenuhi kriteria tertentu, yakni yang mengalami kesalahan dalam penyelesaian soal optimasi fungsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa berdasarkan taksonomi SOLO, kurang dari setengah mahasiswa mengalami kesalahan dalam penyelesaian soal optimasi fungsi dan berada pada level prestructural sampai relational. Dari hal tersebut dapat disarankan selama perkuliahan sebaiknya dosen mengadakan penguatan terkait konsep dasar seperti operasi aljabar sederhana, begitupun untuk membiasakan mahasiswa melakukan operasi aritmatika sederhana secara manual.

Abstract

This community service activity began with the collaboration between Tanjungpura University and Nahdhatul Ulama University in West Kalimantan, especially in terms of infrastructure, teaching staff (lecturers) and student management. In responding to the new policy from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology regarding the MBKM policy, a new curriculum development policy was made which was closely related to the ministry's policy. This form of service is a workshop or training on "Workshop for Assistance in the Development of the MBKM Curriculum at the Nahdlatul Ulama University, West Kalimantan". This workshop was attended by Lecturers, Education Personnel, and Students at UNU West Kalimantan as research subjects. The method for implementing this mentoring workshop includes: 1) drafting which will become an MBKM guide book, 2) making and delivering powerpoint materials delivered by resource persons, 3) mentoring workshops on curriculum development until it is finished. The activities are in the form of workshops. The product is in the form of a Guide Book which will serve as a guide for the University in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education based on the MBKM curriculum. The technique of collecting data is by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. In the data collection tools in the form of observation sheets, interviews, and documentation sheets. The Service Plan activities are: 1) Preparation: determining the location and obtaining the implementation permit in this workshop activity; 2) Implementation: conducting workshops, analyzing test results, and mentoring in MBKM curriculum development workshops, conducting workshops in class; 3) Final: The output of this publication will be a service publication article published in a national journal. The result of this service is the implementation of curriculum development workshops and the establishment of an MBKM Curriculum Guide and the establishment of visiting lectures with UNU West Kalimantan

Abstract

This study aims to describe the spatial ability of student to use GeoGebra in solvinf space geometry problems, especially in conical slices. The specific objective of this study are a) explaining the fluency of student using GeoGebra in solving problem in cone slices in the space analytical geometry lecture. The qualitative research method provides problems related to cone slices, which are then solved using GeoGebra. The research subjects are mathematics education students majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education (PMIPA) Faculty of Teacher and Education (FKIP) Tanjungpura University (Untan). They are studying spatial analytical geometry in the 2020/2021 year totaling 18 students. In this study, the instrument used was an instrument in the form of cone slice questions with its completion using GeoGebra; the instrument was designed to see the spatial ability of students based on five indicators. Through this research, the results were obtained that students fluency in using GeoGebra, in general is quite good, as well as students spatial abilities.

Abstract

This PKM activity started from the interest of lecturers at the Mathematics Education Study Program at Tanjungpura University to write proposals and reports for lecturers and students in West Kalimantan following the regulations of the Ministry. The form of this PKM is a workshop with the title "Workshop on Proposal Writing and Scientific Work Reports for Lecturers and Students at STKIP Singkawang." This workshop was attended by 25 people consisting of lecturers and final semester students at STKIP Singkawang. The data collection technique is observation, interview, and documentation. The PKM activity plans are 1) Preparation: determining the location and obtaining an implementation permit in this workshop activity; 2) Implementation: conducting workshops, analyzing test results, and assisting in the preparation and preparation of scientific article publications, conducting workshops in class; 3) Final: The making of this scientific proposal and report produces a scientific paper proposal and report. The result of this PKM is the implementation of the Workshop on Writing Proposals and Scientific Work Reports for Lecturers and Students following the steps that have been determined and the proposals and scientific reports of STKIP Singkawang lecturers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menggali teori matematika maupun aktivitas etnomatematika yang ada pada pelaksanaan ritual adat nimang padi suku dayak kanayat’n di Kecamatan Toho. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek dari penelitian ini merupakan 3 orang narasumber yang mengerti atau mengetahui tentang ritual adat nimang padi suku dayak kanayat’n. berdasarkan wawancara dan observasi didapat 6 aktivitas etnomatematika yang terkandung dalam ritual adat tersebut yakni; 1) aktivitas membilang/menghitung; 2) aktivitas mengukur; 3) aktivitas mendesain; 4) aktivitas penentuan lokasi; 5) aktivitas bermain; dan 6) aktivitas menjelaskan, serta memuat konsep bangun datar dan bangun ruang.

Abstract

Creative thinking ability is a high-level ability that is being developed at this time. One of the important factors that are in line with creative thinking in achieving learning objectives is scientific attitude. This research on creative thinking skills studied from a scientific attitude was carried out in order to determine the extent of students' creative thinking abilities and become a benchmark for educators to continue to improve creative thinking skills. The type of research conducted is descriptive qualitative research. Subjects were taken using purposive sampling covering six fourth grade students of Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak Elementary School. The research was conducted by means of observation, tests, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis from the subjects studied, it can be concluded that students' creative thinking abilities are in the moderate category with an average of 6.2 or 52% followed by a fairly good scientific attitude, namely 29 or 60%, students with high creative thinking skills tend to have a very good scientific attitude, Students with moderate creative thinking skills tend to have a good scientific attitude, and students with low creative thinking skills tend to have a poor scientific attitude.

Abstract

Salah satu yang dapat mempengaruhi terbangunnya keterampilan berfikir kreatif adalah scientific attitudes seseorang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (a) Mendeskripsikan profil scientific attitudes mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan matematika, (b) Mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan matematika, (c) Menguji keterkaitan antara scientific attitudes dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa. Aspek kelancaran, aspek keaslian dan aspek kerincian termasuk kategori tinggi. Sedangkan aspek keluwesan termasuk pada kategori sedang. Bentuk penelitian menggunakan mixed methods dengan status sepadan yaitu menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang tidak mengulang pada mata kuliah penilaian proses dan hasil pembelajaran matematika tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik klaster random sampling. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi Kendall Tau. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keterkaitan yang erat antara scientific attitudes dengan kemampuan berfikir kreatif mahasiswa pada perkuliahan penilaian proses dan hasil belajar matematika. One that can affect the development of creative thinking skills is a person's scientific attitude. The aims of this study were (a) to describe the scientific attitude profile of students in the Mathematics Education Study Program, (b) to describe the creative thinking skills of students in the Mathematics Education Study Program, (c) to test the relationship between scientific attitudes and students' creative thinking skills. Aspects of fluency, aspects of creativity, and aspects of fact are included in the high category. In comparison, the aspect of flexibility is included in the medium category. This form of research uses mixed methods with commensurate status, namely using a qualitative descriptive approach and a quantitative approach. Meanwhile, the research sample was students who did not repeat the mathematics learning process and results in the 2022/2023 school year assessment course. Sampling using cluster random sampling technique. Testing the research hypothesis using Kendall Tau correlation analysis. The results of hypothesis testing show a close relationship between scientific attitudes and students' creative thinking abilities in the process assessment lectures and mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran PowerPoint yang terintegrasi dengan GeoGebra pada materi transformasi geometri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 1 ahli media, 2 ahli materi, dan 31 siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran PowerPoint terintegrasi GeoGebra yang telah dikembangkan. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan  adalah lembar validasi ahli media, lembar validasi ahli materi, dan angket persepsi siswa. Hasil validasi ahli media menunjukkan bahwa media berada pada kategori Sangat Layak dengan persentase 88,33% dan penilaian ahli materi menunjukkan media dari segi materi berada pada kategori Sangat Layak dengan persentase 93%. Pada uji persepsi siswa media berada pada kategori Sangat Layak dengan persentase 94,36%. Sehingga, media pembelajaran PowerPoint terintegrasi GeoGebra yang telah dikembangkan dapat dikatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

The research purpose is to find out the mathematically creative thinking skills in terms of Self-regulated learning to finish the plane figure questions. The methodology of research used qualitative descriptive design. The research participant consists of 12 seventh-grade students of Junior High School 10 in Pontianak. The result of the research was researcher found that students have high creative thinking skills. Students could finish plane figure questions correctly and fluently from a variety of points of view and the new and unique answers, students also could self-regulate when deciding the purpose and target of learning or fulfill three indicators of creative thinking skills, such as fluency, flexibility and novelty. Students have medium-high creative thinking skills with self-regulated learning. Students could finish the plane figure questions correctly and fluently from a variety of points of view but they could not give new answers or just fulfill two indicators of creative thinking skills, such as fluency and flexibility. While students have low creative thinking skills with Self-regulated learning. Students could not fulfill three indicators of creative thinking skills. Students could not self-regulate when deciding the purpose and target of learning.

Abstract

Model REAPS dalam pembelajaran memberikan dampak, diantaranya: mengendalikan emosi yang positif dan mengembangkan keterampilan intrapersonal positif. Dampaknya dapat menguatkan kemampuan problem solving melalui interaksi sosial atau kolaborasi yg berupa diskusi antar mahasiswa untuk membahas penyelesaian persoalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran kemampuan problem solving mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Untan yang mengambil kuliah Program Linier. Tujuan tersebut dicapai melalui beberapa tahap, meliputi: 1) menganalisis teori tentang model REAPS dan karakteristik kemampuan problem solving; 2) mengkaji perangkat pembelajaran, seperti merevisi bahan ajar, rancangan pembelajaran; 3) menyusun instrumen penelitian berupa: tes kemampuan problem solving, lembar observasi, kisi-kisi angket dan angket; 4) memvalidasi instumen penelitian; 4) menerapkan model REAPS; 5) memberikan tes kemampuan problem solving dan angket; 6) menganlisis data hasil penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Peneltian Tindakan Kelas. Penyaringan dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, baik dengan maupun tanpa pengujian: Pemeriksaan, dokumentasi, observasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kategori baik. AbstractThe actual Engagement In the lively problem-solving (REAPS) version of getting to know has an impact, including controlling fantastic feelings and growing tremendous intrapersonal talents. The effect can beef up trouble-solving abilities through social interaction or collaboration through discussions between college students about problem-solving. This looks at objectives to reap an outline of the trouble-solving skills of students of the arithmetic training study application, FKIP Untan, in particular, students who take Linear Programming courses. This goal turned into performed via several ranges, including 1) studying the concept of the REAPS model and the traits of hassle-solving capabilities; 2) reviewing getting to know the equipment, along with revising coaching substances and gaining knowledge of designs; three) compiling research gadgets in the shape of trouble-fixing ability tests, statement sheets, questionnaires, and questionnaires; 4) validating research devices; 4) observing the REAPS version; five) giving assessments of trouble-solving talents and questionnaires; 6) studying studies records. The research method used is lecture room movement research. Screening and facts collection has been achieved in diverse approaches, each assessment and non-checks through written exams, documentation, statement, and questionnaires. Qualitative and quantitative records evaluation techniques complement every difference. The outcomes of this study indicate an excellent class.
