Abstract

Learning is an activity that is inseparable from human life. By learning, humans are able to develop the potential that they were born with so that they will be able to adapt to meet their needs. By learning, it is hoped that there will be changes in behavior in accordance with the expected goals. However, sometimes the expected changes in behavior do not occur and are not even in accordance with the expected goals, so learning difficulties are born. To help solve the problem of learning difficulties, among others, is to apply learning models that invite students to participate actively and are used to find out how to increase students' learning motivation in mastering certain competencies and the existence of teaching materials in the form of PBL-based textbooks. Along with the development of teaching materials in the form of PBLbased Cost accounting textbooks compiled in previous studies, it is necessary to test their effectiveness together with PBL learning models so that they can be a solution in overcoming lack of motivation and learning difficulties. This study resulted in a comparison of the PBL learning model using teaching materials in the form of a PBL-based Cost Accounting textbook with PBL using a reference book. The effectiveness of using PBL-based cost accounting textbooks needs to be tested to find out whether there is an improvement in the quality of learning. The sample in this study is Accounting Education students’ batch 2021. Comparison of the learning model with the use of PBL-based cost accounting textbooks is expected to be able to display the quality of interesting learning activities to observe. As for testing the comparison of this learning model using a True Experiment research design using an independent t test. Evaluation of learning media is an evaluation that has a special emphasis on user-oriented from the PBLbased Cost Accounting textbook. The results showed that there was a convincing difference in learning outcomes before and after using the PBL-based Cost accounting textbook.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the information technology students’ acceptance of and intention to use mobile learning applications using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. The study, which involved a first-year through fourth –year and even graduate students from the information technology department, was carried out from January to June 2022. Eighty volunteers participated in the study and completed the self-made questionnaire based on the UTAT model’s five constructs: performance efficiency (PE), effort expectancy (EE), social influence (SI), facilitating conditions (FC), and behavioral intention (BI). Using the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, the questionnaire’s acceptability and reliability were also evaluated. The association between the five factors and the intention to adopt mobile learning was also evaluated using regression analysis. The study’s final score of α=0.080619 suggests that the contracted questionnaires were good and acceptable. Four theories were put to the test, and the results indicate a favorable impact on the behavioral intention to utilize mobile learning applications. Future research should reevaluate the UTAUT model among students who are not studying computer technology when an asynchronous style of learning is also relevant.

Abstract

The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is becoming more and more popular for understanding the acceptance between the perceived usefulness (PU) of humans and the ease of use of perceived technology (PEOU). This study aims to analyze student acceptance of online learning platforms (OLPs) and determine the appropriate combination they can offer as higher education believes in significant changes in the demand for online learning. Researchers used a quantitative and qualitative approach among 73 information technology students conducted from April to May of the 2021-2022 academic year. The questionnaire used was based on TAM variables and was validated using Cronbach’s alpha with a result of 0.727. Regression analysis was applied to identify which variables influence student interests. The results show that the perceived usefulness and visual appeal of the content are statistically significant at a p-value of 0.048. However, with a p-value of 0.716 achieved, it turns out that the perceived usefulness is not important to the perceived ease of use. Future recommendations should consider evaluating other information literacy acquisition variables, such as recognition of external controls such as computer and information anxiety

Abstract

This look at targets to analyze the legal problems with the implementation of Credit Agreements, especially in relation to the credit using fiduciary guarantees as collateral. Financing institutions use Credit Agreements that are included in the Standard Agreement. Because credit is a business activity of financial institutions, in this case it is a bank, in order to achieve a national balance in distributing funds to the public. In carrying out its function, banks as financial institutions provide credit, therefore the provisions of the Guarantee Law are intended to help business activities both macro and micro, as well as create legal certainty for stakeholders. To achieve the goal of obtaining legal certainty regarding Credit Agreements with Fiduciary Guarantees, This study uses an empirical legal approach method, and the research specifications are descriptive analytical. This study produced a data, namely it was concluded that Fiduciary Guarantee is a form of guarantor by the debtor at his request, in order to guarantee the repayment of credit debts, movable objects become the object of guarantee in this study. The Supplementary Agreement or what is often referred to as the Accesoir of the Principal Credit Agreement can be guaranteed by the Fiduciary Guarantee, while the charge is made in the form of a notarized, by guaranteeing legal certainty so that it needs to be Register with the Trustee Registration Authority and apply for issuance of a Trustee Certificate to gain enforcement powers. The obstacle arises when defaulting by the debtor, with various causes and factors. Sometimes execution efforts are made to save credit that has been channeled by financing institutions, especially banks, but in practice there are many obstacles, including in executing the object of the guarantee that is not found, has changed hands or is controlled by others, so that execution in the form of auctioning fiduciary objects is difficult to do.

Abstract

This study analyzes the Consumer Protection Study on the Mystery Box Sale and Purchase Agreement on the Shopee Marketplace viewed from Indonesian Law. This research is a normative legal research using secondary data sources through library research. The results of the study show that the Mystery Box Sale and Purchase Agreement in the Shopee marketplace violates the provisions of Article 1320 of the Civil Code regarding the element of "halal causes", and there are no specific rules regarding the protection of consumers who carry out electronic transactions, so that the rules regarding consumer protection are still referring to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. In this research, the case will be discussed in a comprehensive manner regarding the concept of a Mystery Box Sale and Purchase agreement and how to protect consumers regarding mystery box buying and selling transactions on the Shopee marketplace. This research is projected as a basis for studying in analyzing similar cases regarding Consumer Protection in Mystery Box Sale and Purchase Agreements on the Shopee Marketplace viewed from Indonesian Law Rules later in the future. The limitation of this research lies in the study using library data sources. In the future, it is hoped that similar research could use this research as a basic reference in conducting research that can obtain concrete data in the field. Thus, it can provide more factual outcomes according to the conditions that occur.
