EJoES (Educational Journal of Elementary School) is an electronic journal that publishes original research papers, review articles by invited experts, and novel technology news related to Elementary School. EJoES has served researchers, teacher educators, and practitioners in the elementary since 2020. EJoEs will be published three times annually, February, June and October (3 issues/year). EJoES publishes peer-reviewed articles that pertain to both education theory and research and their implications for teaching practice. In addition, EJoES presents articles that relate the latest research in the development of curriculum, teaching innovation, child development, cognitive psychology, teaching evaluation, and educational policy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out through classroom visit supervision techniques can improve teacher performance in the application of a realistic approach in SD Negeri 094130 Dolokmaraja. This school action research was carried out in 2 cycles with the application of a realistic approach. The research subjects were 6 teachers of SD Negeri 094130 Dolokmaraja. The data collection method was used, the observation observation sheet, and the photos. Based on the results of the study, it was found that in the first cycle the class average value was 76.1%. In the second cycle of action with the application of a realistic approach through the classroom visit supervision technique, it was found that the class average value increased, namely 91.9 and the value of teacher activity observation increased to reach 100%. Thus it can be concluded that through classroom visit supervision techniques the application of a realistic approach increases.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan Teknik  Supervisi Individual sebagai implementasi kerja kepengawasan Di SDN 097358 Negri Lawan Kecamatan  Dolok Batunanggar. Penelitian tindakan sekolah ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus dengan Penerapan Pendekatan Realistik. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah Guru  SD Negeri 097358 Negri Lawan yang berjumlah 3 orang. Metode pengumpulan data digunakan, lembar observasi dan hasil foto. Dari analisis diperoleh, Ada perbedaan  Pembelajaran antara kelompok guru yang  mengajar  pola  konvensional  dengan pengajaran berbasi kemampuan dan uji kompetensi dan Ada  Peningkatan kemampuan mengajar dalam KBM di sekolah masing-masing dari hasil penelitian menujukkan hasil yang cukup signifikan untuk kemajuan pendidikan di   SDN 097358 Negri Lawan Pemberian  materi pelajaran diusahakan  agar kemampuan fleksibilitas diri dikembangkan dalam olah pengajaran. Dan sebaiknya guru  juga Kepala Sekolah memperhatikan bahan ajar dan persiapan materi pengajaran sehingga KBM dapat berjalan dengan lancar  di sekolah masing-masing

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic for elementary school students. This type of research is library research using data sources from books, journals and internet sites related to the selected topic. The results showed that online learning can help learning activities as long as students learn from home. Apart from the advantages that online learning has, various challenges are also found by teachers and students in learning. A common problem relates to the signals and learning devices used in online learning.

Abstract

Melalui penggunaan bahan ajar, anak  dapat mencoba mengembangkan aspek perkembangannya seperti, perkembangan  bahasa, kognitif, sosial emosional, agama, seni dan terkhusus bahasa anak. Karena  dengan penggunaan bahan ajar yang tepat yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak dan yang bersifat menyenangkan  dapat menentukan keberhasilan sebuah proses pembelajaran dan perkembanagan bagi anak usia dini. Agar perkembangan dan dalam pembelajaran anak  berjalan efesien dan efektif mencapai sasarannya diperlukan dengan pemilihan metode, strategi, media dan pendekatan dalam proses pembelajaran yang sesuai tema dan materi pembelajaran, yaitu dibutuhkannya peranan dari bahan ajar.

Abstract

This study aims to analysis of social character through dakon game. Subjects consisted of 16 students from Medan Perwanis Kindergarten. The problem formulation is how can the game of dakon foster the social character of students and what social characters are produced from the dakon game? Where as the purpose is to describe how dakon games can foster students' social character and describe what social characters are produced from dakon games. By using descriptive qualitative research methods, with observation and documentation data collection techniques, it was found that social characters formed for Medan Perwanis Kindergarten students through dakon games, among others: honest character, tolerance, discipline, creative, communicative, peaceloving, and responsibility

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru PPKn terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 10 Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data yang dibutuhkan adalah observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Jumlah populasi yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 270 orang, dan dalam menentukan sampel diambil sebanyak 20% dari jumlah populasi yaitu sebanyak 54 orang yang diambil secara acak sederhana atau random sampling. Untuk menghitung koefisien kompetensi pedagogik guru PPKn dan minat belajar siswa digunakan rumus statistik product moment. Korelasi antara variabel x dan variabel y menunjukan nilai rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel  (rhitung > rtabel ) atau 0,459 > 0,263 pada taraf signifikan 5% terdapat pengaruh antara kompetensi pedagogik guru PPKn terhadap minat belajar siswa. Dari analisis hasil penelitian diperoleh thitung>ttabel atau 3,726>1,675 pada taraf signifikan 5% pada derajat kebebasan kebebasan (dk) = n-2 (54-2=52, maka hipotesis alternatif (Ha) dapat diterima yaitu terdapat pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru PPKn terhadap minat belajar siswa dan Hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak yaitu tidak terdapat pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru PPKn terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 10 Medan.

Abstract

The world of education is being hit by a learning crisis due to the presence of the Covid 19 virus so that learning is transferred to the network. Various obstacles arise in online learning. This study aims to investigate the challenges that arise during online learning. This type of research is library research using data sources from books, articles and journals. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that students did not have learning tools, the teacher's ability to operate technology was limited and the availability of internet networks was difficult.

Abstract

The character education is very important to build quality human resources. From an early age he was asked to have a commendable character as a result of good education. In this paper, we present character education theoretically in early childhood so that it has a basic foundation for early childhood character education. Abstract

This study aims: (1) To describe the teaching style of teachers in social studies subject for class V at Binjai State Islamic Senior High School, Academic Year 2020/2021. (2) To find out a description of student interest in learning in social studies subject for class V at Binjai state madrasah ibtidaiah for the academic year 2020/2021. (3) To find out whether there is a significant influence between teacher teaching styles on student interest in learning in class social studies subjects at Binjai state madrasah ibtidaiah for the 2020/2021 academic year. The results of this study are: (1). The description of the Teacher's Teaching Style is 60.47 which is categorized as quite good. (2). Description of Student Interest in Student's Social Studies Student's Eyes is 73.44 which is in the good category. (3).There is a significant influence between the Teaching Style of the Teacher and the Student's Learning Interest in the Social Sciences Subject of Class V Madrasah Ibtidaiah Binjai in the Learning Year 2020/2021.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitinan ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model quantu learning. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas di kelas V SD Al-Ittihadiyah Sei Rombang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya hasil belajar sains pada peserta didik dengan rata-rata nilai 6,67% dari 30 peserta didik. Kemudian setelah dilakukan siklus I terdapat peningkatan sebesar 56, 67%  namun masih banyak  peserta didik yang belum tuntas dan kemudian dilakukan II, Pada siklus ini terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan mengenai hasil belajar peserta  didik yaitu naik 96,67% dari tiap siswa dengan ketuntasan belajar ratarata 83. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model quantum learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa
