Abstract

Objective – Labor management is a key element in the success of laundry business operations, especially in urban areas such as Sukabumi District, Bandar Lampung, which face high levels of competition. This study aims to evaluate labor management in laundry business operations, identify constraints faced, and provide recommendations to improve the effectiveness of labor management.Design/Methodology/Approach – The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a case study approach, involving four laundry businesses as research objects. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews and document analysis.Findings – The results showed that although each laundry business has implemented standard operating procedures (SOPs) to regulate workflow, challenges such as high employee turnover rates, lack of technical training, and low work motivation still occur frequently. Other constraints include labor instability due to high absenteeism, ineffective conflict management, and limited facilities and equipment that support operations.Implications – In this study, Standard Operating Procedures cannot improve the welfare of laundry employees in Sukabumi, where there is no motivation that can be accepted by employees so that it has an impact on the employee turnover rate. Work motivation and operational support need to be considered for laundry businesses in Sukabumi.

The data collection technique in this study involves distributing questionnaires to PT Bank Kalteng customers through Google Forms. The data analysis tool used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS version 4.1.0.Findings – The results of this study show that service quality and trust have a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction. Service quality, trust, and customer satisfaction have a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty. Service quality and trust indirectly affect customer loyalty positively through customer satisfaction as an intervening variable.Implications – This study exhibit that customer satisfaction has a greater impact than trust and service quality. Therefore, it is important for PT Bank Kalteng to maintain or improve customer satisfaction by continuing to maintain good service quality and maintaining customer trust.

Abstract

Objective – This study evaluates the impact of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices on employee performance and innovation in Indonesia’s banking sector. It specifically explores how green recruitment and selection (GRS) fosters an innovative organizational culture (IOC), enhances sustainability, and improves organizational effectiveness. Design/Methodology/Approach – The study involved 150 purposively selected employees from PT Bank Kalteng. A quantitative approach was used, with data collected through an online questionnaire rated on a 1–5 Likert scale. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SMART-PLS 3 analyzed the relationships among GRS, IOC, and employee performance (EP). Findings – Results show that GRS positively and significantly affects employee performance and IOC. Moreover, IOC mediates the relationship between GRS and employee performance, indicating that GRS enhances performance indirectly by promoting an innovative culture. This underscores the role of culture in amplifying the effects of GHRM. Conclusion and Implications – This study contributes to the limited empirical research on GHRM in regional banking by highlighting GRS as a driver of innovation and sustainability. It offers practical insights for banks seeking to align environmental sustainability with HR strategies to improve employee outcomes.

Abstract

Objective – This study aims to analyze the role pf perceived quality as a mediating variable in the relationship between lifestyle and product review on purchase intention of Elformula skincare products. Design/Methodology/Approach – This study applied a quantitative method and data were collected through online questionnaires distributed to consumers who are familiar with and interested in Elformula. A total of 171 responses were obtained using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 3.0 to examine both direct and indirect relationships among lifestyle, product review, perceived quality, and purchase intention. Findings – The results show that lifestyle and product reviews do not have significant direct effect on purchase intention. However, both variables significantly and positively influence perceived quality. Perceived quality has a strong positive effect on purchase intention and fully mediates the relationship between lifestyle and purchase intention as well as between product reviews and purchase intention. Conclusion and Implications – This study contributes to consumer literature by highlighting perceived quality as a key mediating construct in the skincare industry context. It extends the Theory of Planned Behavior by demonstrating that perceived quality functions as an attitudinal mechanism linking lifestyle and product reviews to purchase intention, particularly for experience-based product.
