Abstract

This research aims to develop a decision support system based on the Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method to evaluate the feasibility of healthy canteens at Malikussaleh University. The system is designed to assess the feasibility of canteens based on six main criteria: Selection of Raw Materials, Storage of Food Ingredients, Food Processing, Food Storage, Food Transportation, and Food Serving. This study evaluated 20 canteens on campus, with feasibility values calculated based on the weights assigned to each Criterion. The results showed that the canteen with the alternative code A11 (Kopita BI) received the highest score of 0.956, followed by A6 (Umi), with a score of 0.798, and A10 (Alisha), with a score of 0.620. Out of the 20 canteens evaluated, only three canteens were categorized as "Feasible," 3 as "Sufficiently Feasible," and the remaining 14 were deemed "Not Feasible." These findings highlight the urgent need to improve the quality of most canteens. The criteria for Selection of Raw Materials and Food Processing had the highest weights, emphasizing the importance of these two aspects in maintaining food quality and health standards. Implementing this system simplifies data management and analysis and provides clear recommendations for canteen managers to improve service and health standards. Thus, this system is expected to promote healthier and higher-quality campus canteens. This research enhances canteen service quality in university environments and can serve as a reference model for other educational institutions in evaluating and improving their canteen facilities.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has increased the need for reliable, secure, and efficient computer networks, especially for companies and organizations, including local offices. In this context, stable connectivity and optimal network management significantly impact the company's smooth operation, especially when facing increasingly growing digital transformation challenges. Companies, including the Ubiquiti device, need technology solutions to ensure smooth operations and efficiency. This study aims to provide practical solutions for companies overcoming local office network management problems. This study seeks to optimize network management in companies using Ubiquiti devices, conduct an in-depth analysis of existing network conditions, and design appropriate solutions. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, which aims to understand the phenomena that occur in the field in more depth. This approach was chosen because of its ability to explore the meaning, processes, and dynamics that occur in a particular social context. To ensure the successful implementation of the proposed solution, here are some suggestions that PT. Rizki Inti Madani can consider. Human Resources Training and Development, considering the importance of a deep understanding of devices and centralized network management, it is highly recommended that IT technicians and staff involved in network management be given further training on using Ubiquiti and Cisco devices. This training should also include understanding VLAN configuration, QoS, and efficient network troubleshooting and monitoring techniques. Gradual Transition: to reduce the risk of operational disruption, it is recommended that the implementation be carried out in stages. The devices will first be tested in a laboratory environment to ensure the configuration is running as expected. After successful testing, the devices can be installed gradually throughout the office to minimize downtime and operational disruption.

Abstract

Weather is a physical process or event that occurs in the atmosphere at a specific time and place, as well as its changes over a short period in a particular location on Earth. To produce weather forecast information, there is a series of processes that must be carried out until the weather information is conveyed accurately. The stages involved in the feature extraction process are carried out first. This process is carried out to obtain specific characteristics or features from a dataset. After the feature extraction process has been completed, the next step is to predict the weather based on the input images. To classify the weather on Earth using various algorithms, one of which is the Machine Boltzmann. The pattern recognition method used is Machine Boltzmann as an application of a simpler and more complex method. Generally, the weather prediction system using Machine Boltzmann consists of several stages, namely image acquisition, greyscale processing, segmentation/location using Sobel edge detection, classification using the Machine Boltzmann method, and finally producing output in the form of weather class results. The classification process in this research involves images of clear, cloudy, and rainy weather as inputs. The output of the system is the determination of whether the input weather image falls into the category of clear, cloudy, or rainy weather. The results of the study show that the classification of weather based on captured images has the highest accuracy for clear weather, with a percentage of 73.33%. For cloudy weather, the success rate is equal to the error rate, which is 50%, while rainy weather was not recognized at all.

Abstract

Skin health is essential for everyone. In addition to supporting someone who can reduce self-confidence, skin diseases can also interfere with a person's concentration in activities. An expert system is a system designed to be able to imitate the expertise of an expert in answering questions and solving a problem. The expert system will solve a problem obtained from a dialogue with the user. With the help of an expert system, someone who is not an expert can answer questions, solve problems, and make decisions that an expert usually makes. This needs to be anticipated and handled seriously, especially for types of skin diseases, some of which can be fatal, and some can even be classified as cancer. Experts are needed to diagnose each disease in this case, but consultation with experts requires costly funds. For this reason, this system is designed to help people diagnose skin diseases online, making it easier for sufferers to diagnose the diseases they suffer from by themselves. The method used is the fuzzy Tsukamoto method. Analysis of the introduction of the disease is carried out by identifying various symptoms of the disease. The types of diseases diagnosed include tinea versicolor [P001], scabies [P002], ringworm [P003], dandruff [P004], vitiligo [P005], pityriasis alba [P006], hives [P007], erythema multiforme [P008], acne [P009], keloids [P010], melanoma [P011], eczema [P012], boils [P013], measles [P014], psoriasis [P015], impetigo [P016], and herpes [P017]. Skin disease sufferers can diagnose their disease without consulting with a specialist directly. This system can be used as a substitute for a specialist in producing a diagnosis in the form of the name of the disease suffered by the system user (user). This system provides a solution for users regarding more economical disease diagnosis.

Abstract

Today's industrial activities are increasing with sophisticated technology, all applied to satisfy consumers in various services. One of the important parts of an industry is the inventory of goods. This is related to the continuity of the resulting production. In meeting the needs of consumers, a plan is needed in production so that there is no shortage of raw materials and the production process does not stop. Grain is an agricultural commodity whose demand and production levels occasionally increase. We can see that until now, our country, Indonesia, still imports rice from other countries, where rice is the main production product produced from grain. The problem can be solved with the Lot sizing method used in this study, which is used to determine the size of the order quantity. In the rice mill itself, grain storage has a limited capacity, so it cannot be directly stored with a large capacity when the price of grain is down. Applying this method as an application will make it easier to manage grain inventory at the rice mill and estimate inventory costs for the next 1 () year. The results of the lot sizing calculation (silver meal) show that for the next year, the smallest cost of procurement of dry milled grain (MDG) demand is obtained from the procurement of demand every month. In other words, procurement is more appropriate every month or period so that the costs incurred for grain inventory are smaller. The following data are the results of the silver meal lot sizing calculation: (1) 39015.4 kg, (2) 35871.2 kg, (3) 39536 kg, (4) 33894.8 kg, (5) 31402 kg, (6) 27982.5 kg, (7) 41461.9 kg, (8) 35336.7 kg, (9) 41305.6 kg, (10) 45717.5 kg, (11) 42007.9 kg, (12) 50828 kg. The cost incurred per order is Rp. 6,000,000

Abstract

Cryptocurrency has become one of the most intriguing topics in finance and technology in recent years. With the growing prominence of Bitcoin, the rise of altcoins (alternative cryptocurrencies) also demonstrates significant potential within the cryptocurrency market. Altcoins, which include all cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin, offer diverse functionalities and use cases, ranging from smart contracts to decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. This thesis identifies the altcoin options with the best investment opportunities and the highest growth potential. The study employs the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method, a multi-criteria decision-making approach that evaluates alternatives based on specific preferences and criteria. This method is particularly suitable for assessing complex investment decisions involving multiple variables, such as market capitalization, technological innovation, and utility. By applying PSI, investors can decide which altcoins will likely yield substantial returns. A web-based platform has been developed as part of this research to simplify selecting promising altcoins. This platform enables users to evaluate options based on predefined criteria, such as market trends, project objectives, and development team credibility. The accessibility of this tool empowers users—whether novice or experienced investors—to navigate the dynamic cryptocurrency market more effectively. Altcoins provide a unique opportunity for diversification in investment portfolios. Unlike Bitcoin, which is often viewed as a store of value, many altcoins are designed with specific purposes and innovative features. For instance, Ethereum introduced smart contracts that revolutionized decentralized applications, while other altcoins focus on scalability or niche markets like the Internet of Things (IoT). However, investing in altcoins also comes with challenges like high market volatility, security risks, and regulatory uncertainties. Therefore, thorough research and strategic planning are essential for minimizing risks while maximizing returns in this rapidly evolving sector.
