Abstract

The enjoyment of brewed coffee is determined by many things, one of which is choosing quality coffee beans and coffee powder. Quality coffee beans are determined by shape and size (full, half full, or damaged). Checking the size and shape of coffee beans manually is subject to external influences such as fatigue, environment, light, etc. With the help of technologyimage processing, these factors can be overcome. Through this paper a tool is designed to detect coffee defects using the Yolo algorithm. The designed system consists of a camera that captures images of coffee beans which are then processed by the Raspberry Pi and the results are displayed on the laptop screen. Detection results using the YOLO algorithm for 10 trials using 100 coffee beans get an average percentage value of 76.54% for the perfect coffee bean category of 43 coffee beans, then the average percentage of imperfect coffee beans is 73.40% with lots of 48 3 coffee beans and coffee beans were not detected with an average percentage value of 1% and coffee beans included in the two categories were 6 coffee beans with an average percentage value of 19.8%. In this study the YOLO algorithm can maintain an accuracy rate of detection success of 75%.

Abstract

Flood inundation occurs on main roads in Meulaboh City, especially when it rains. Johan Pahlawan District is one of the sub-districts in West Aceh Regency. This sub-district includes a densely populated area of 4243 people, which is in the urban area of Meulaboh City One is the road in Ujung Kalak Village, where floods often occur even though the village already has drainage. A study of the drainage profile is needed to determine the ability of the drainage to accommodate rainwater discharge. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the drainage capacity is able or not to accommodate rainwater discharge. Then proceed with redesigning the drainage dimensions if the study results show insufficient drainage dimensions to accommodate flood discharge. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection begins with conducting field surveys to measure the dimensions of the existing drainage channel, including measuring the channel's width, height, and slope. The data needed in this study are rainfall data for at least ten years used to calculate the planned flood discharge and land cover maps to calculate the flow coefficient. The research showed that 24 out of 29 channel segments needed to be enlarged in dimension. Of the 24 channel segments, 70 percent of the channels require cleaning of sediment and channel maintenance so that rainwater can flow and inundation does not occur again.

Abstract

Bireuen Regency is an area that has historical buildings from the Dutch colonial era, one of which is the Bireuen Pendopo. It is a cultural heritage building that is more than 70 years old based on the photo archive of Ir. Sukarno with the Bireuen fighter in 1948 and was certified as "The President Sukarno Heritage List". The building has undergone changes, seen from the period of pre-independence (1934–1944), the period of independence (1945–1999), and the period after the area expansion (1999–2021). Pendopo is a cultural heritage building. A study of its physical changes is urgently needed so that the original shape does not change and the material is not entirely replaced. The purpose of this study is to identify the physical changes in the Bireun Pendopo building. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The physical elements are categorized into minor transformation, major transformation, and full transformation. The study's results found that the Bireun Pendopo building in the pre-independence period (1934-1944) did not have any changes in its physical form. While during the independence period (1945-1998), it underwent a minor physical transformation. In the period after the expansion of Bireun Regency (1999-2020), it underwent a minor physical transformation, a major transformation, and a full transformation. The results of the study that identified the physical changes of the Bireun Pendopo based on three periods showed that most of the changes were carried out in the post-expansion period with major and full transformation categories.

Abstract

Rapid population growth has both a positive and a negative impact, such as an increase in household waste generation. This also becomes a new chain of problems in other aspects, such as health, flood, air pollution, and environmental pollution. To overcome this problem, an integrated waste management system is needed. Household waste, especially inorganic waste, was valuable. The application was developed to promote a new paradigm; waste is a new source of money. As well as help run a circular economy in the waste recycling industry. The application to be built is "WasteApp", an independent household waste management application that can track and help manage it. This application is built using the Android operating system to make it a user-friendly tool. An application trial was conducted in Geulanggang Baro village, Bireuen district involving the operator, local government, and community. This location was chosen because they already have informal waste management, and it is easier to maximize by information technology intervention. The final result of this research is the “WasteApp” application based on android to manage household waste independently. The community, operator, and local government can work waste independently and systematically through this system. This application contains several menus, including the Home menu, login, register, and the main menu, namely the waste sell history and selling waste, as well as educational articles that contain how to manage waste, from sorting waste to the recycling process. Community participation was needed to increase to full implementation of good waste management.

Abstract

Sport cannot be separated from everyday life. Sport is a hobby for every age group. Everyone needs exercise to keep the body healthy and fit. Many people are busy with their respective activities, so they need more time to exercise and go to the gym. Apart from having to adjust the time, People stuck at Home do not have free access to go the Gym during the global pandemic. This can be overcome by tracking people's movements virtually. Human Pose Estimation can track the movements being carried out by a person in time. Data collection in the form of optimal detection distance, Human Pose Estimation in calculating the number of fitness repetitions, and data from the application of Human Pose Estimation when someone does fitness sports. The optimal distance webcam detects Human Pose Estimation for fitness reps is three meters. Webcams successfully track and predict the movements made by a person. The program can calculate fitness reps based on the angle at the elbow. The key points on the human body are connected by utility lines to form the body’s skeleton. Application, The repetitions in this detection utilize the value of the elbow angle when the hand is straight and bent. If the tip is >300, such as lifting dumbbells, then a stage up is counted as one rep. Meanwhile, when the angle forms > 1700, a stage down and one repetition also count The use of Media pipe for detection results is accurate and effective.

Abstract

PT. Kilang Padi Mutiara Refinery is a company engaged in rice production that produces rice, groats, and bran. The main product of this factory is rice. It can be seen in storage warehouse activities that they still experience problems with poor product placement due to irregular distances between placement and delivery areas caused by the preparation of products that are not based on inventory so that the products in the warehouse become narrower and seem messy, this triggers the accumulation of excess products. to damage the finished product packaging. Based on the existing problems, in this study, planning for layout improvements using the shared storage method was carried out to increase the effectiveness of the distance between doors to the storage area and better product placement. the steps of re-planning using the shared storage method begin by knowing the warehouse area, warehouse capacity, and other warehouse data, as well as collecting data by determining space requirements, determining space allowances, and the distance of the entrance to the storage area. From the data processing, the distance becomes more regular and can be known every distance. Based on the comparison of the initial layout and the proposal, it is known that the distance in the initial layout is 719.56 meters, while for the proposed layout using the shared storage method, the results are 593.33 meters with 13 product areas, with this loading and unloading activities become better and more effective.

Abstract

The process of childbirth has many factors that result in the death of the baby and the mother during the delivery process, namely the lack of medical staff or health workers (midwife, doctor, or another paramedic). There needs to be an analysis of the delivery process assisted by medical staff. This analysis maps the readiness of medical staff with the needs in the field. Both natural and cesarean births have the same main goal, to make labor run smoothly and ensure that the mother and baby are safe. Deliveries assisted by health workers use secure, clean, and sterile equipment to prevent infection and other health hazards. The hope is to minimize the number of mothers who are not helped during childbirth. This study aims to analyze data on deliveries assisted by medical staff for case studies in Sleman District, Province of Yogyakarta Special Administrative Region, Indonesia, with the K-Means Algorithm. K-means is an unsupervised learning algorithm that has a function to group data into data clusters. This algorithm can accept data without any category labels, the learning process requires a relatively fast time, is quite easy to understand and implement, and the algorithm is quite popular. The research used 13,869 data in 2018. In 2019, the decrease in the number of mothers giving birth from 13,470 who were rescued was 13,469. The 2018 data produced 3 (three) clusters. In 2019 data produced 4 (four) clusters. With different levels of levels assisted by medical staff starting from the high, medium, and low groups.
