Abstract

Time Of Fight Mass Spectrometry (Maldi-Tof MS).

Abstract

Anaemia is a deficiency in red blood cells due to low haemoglobin levels. Red blood cells serve as a means of transporting nutrients and oxygen needed for physiological and biochemical processes in every tissue of the body. The normal haemoglobin level for a pregnant woman is 11 gr%. This scientific paper aims to carry out postpartum maternal care for Mrs. 'N' with moderate anaemia at Sitti Khadijah I Women and Children’s Hospital of Makassar in 2023 using a midwifery management approach within the midwife's scope of practice. Based on the research results, the diagnosis of the patient moderate anaemia was conducted by assessing the patient's history and carrying out the physical examinations and supporting tests (Hb ≤7 gr/dL). The management of moderate anaemia can be done through the administration of additional blood supplements (Iron Tablets), Vitamin C, and educating the patient about iron-rich foods. In conclusion, the appropriate and effective management of moderate anaemia, based on the evidence-based practices, involves the importance of nutritional education for pregnant woman, and the active management implementation of stage III should be conducted properly and correctly.

Abstract

Introduction Communication is a very important tool in fostering a therapeutic relationship between health workers and patients which can influence the quality of health care services. Therapeutic communication is very important because it can influence the level of patient satisfaction with the health services provided. All behavior and health information provided by midwives must be therapeutic for the patient. Therapeutic communication also develops interpersonal relationships between patients and midwives, where midwives have special skills and must pay attention to every non-verbal interaction and behavior. Good therapeutic communication will lead to patient satisfaction, which ultimately influences patient compliance with the pregnancy check-up schedule. Methode Analytical correlation research, with a total research sample of 25 people. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. Research data was analyzed using SPSS starting from univariate analysis to describe each research variable, then bivariate analysis to analyze the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable using the Spearman rank formula. The results of the Spearman correlation test via SPSS showed that the Spearman correlation coefficient (rs) = 0.320 with a 2 tailed sig value (p) = 0.005 where p < 0.05 so that H1 was accepted, meaning there was a relationship between the variables in this study. Conclusion There is a relationship between effective communication and patient compliance in carrying out pregnancy checks according to schedule.

Abstract

Every country, especially Indonesia, has a diverse culture, especially the socio-cultural aspects of pregnancy health. The results of health ethnographic research conducted in 2012 in 12 ethnicities in Indonesia show that health culture affects maternal and child health problems that are very concerning, one of which is during pregnancy. This study uses secondary data, namely collecting national literature through the Google Scholar database. There are 5 representative literature according to the topic, namely the socio-cultural aspects of pregnancy from various tribes in Indonesia (Java, Dayak, Baduy, and Kampung Pulau Seberang). It can be concluded that traditions from the socio-cultural aspect are very influential in pregnancy health practices, where some pregnant women still carry out the culture, especially in coastal and rural areas that are thick with traditional customs.

Abstract

Introduction:. The highest number of maternal deaths in Banten is in Serang Regency, namely 66 cases of maternal death.(Rachmawati 2021). The highest cause of maternal mortality is pregnancy hypertension. Hypertension in pregnancy occurs in mothers with high risk age, so it is necessary to postpone or end the pregnancy at high risk age by using contraception. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of audio visual media on changes in knowledge, attitudes and behavior of mothers to use contraception. Method: This method of research is Quasi Experiment with the design of the one group pretest posttest design.(Swarjana 2015). Respondents in this study were women of childbearing age with high risk. Result: The results of the Wilcoxon Test showed that there was a difference in the score of knowledge and attitude of mothers before and after being given an audio-visual media intervention with a significance value of 0.00 (p value <0.05). There is a change in the mother's behavior before and after the audio visual media intervention with a significance value of 0.046 (p value <0.05).Conclusion: There is the effect of providing health education with audiovisual media on the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of mothers in using contraception

Method This type of research is quantitative using a cross-sectional design with 198 respondents taking samples using simple random sampling. Result The instrument used is a questionnaire. The results show that 76.3% had poor knowledge and 78.3% has a negative attitude. The data analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi-square statistic chi test found p-value = 0.001. These results indicate that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of young women in dealing with dysmenorrhea at SMA Negeri 12 Medan. Conclusion It is expected that young women at SMA Negeri 12 Medan will seek more information about knowledge and attitudes in dealing with dysmenorrhea so that they have broader insights and can handle dysmenorrhea well so that young women at SMA Negeri 12 Medan can have a positive attitude in dealing with dysmenorrhea compared to people who who have less knowledge.
