Jurnal Ilmiah Wahana Pendidikan (JIWP) Diterbitkan sebagai upaya untuk mempublikasikan hasil-hasil penelitian dan temuan di bidang pendidikan . Jurnal ini terbit 4 bulanan, yaitu bulan April, Agustus dan Desember. *Ruang Lingkup* Memuat hal kajian, analisis, dan penelitian tentang perancangan, pengembangan, pengelolaan, pemanfaatan, evaluasi, dan penelitian dalam bidang pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kinerja dan memfasilitasi belajar di lembaga pendidikan formal, non-formal dan informal serta lembaga-lembaga pelatihan. *Deskripsi* Jurnal Ilmiah Wahana Pendidikan merupakan media komunikasi ilmiah bagi dosen, guru, widyaiswara, mentor, mahasiswa, dan praktisi pendidikan lainnya serta pemerhati kependidikan. Jurnal ini dimaksudkan sebagai wadah untuk menyebarluaskan hasil kajian, pemikiran, penelitian, dan evaluasi yang relevan dengan kawasan pendidikan yakni perancangan, pengembangan, pengelolaan, pemanfaatan, evaluasi dan penelitian dalam bidang pendidikan, pembelajaran dan evaluasi. Artikel yang diterima dan diproses oleh redaksi adalah artikel secara substansi berhubungan dengan kawasan pendidikan.

Abstract

Dalam pengambilan keputusan, suatu keputusan harus diambil sebelum tenggat waktunya. Walaupun keputusan seringkali dibuat oleh satu individu, yaitu dirinya, keputusan tidak selalu terpaku oleh sendirinya, tetapi masukan dan ajakan dari individu lainnya dapat membantu mencapai keputusan akhir. Pengambilan keputusan memiliki beberapa faktor. Salah satu faktor tersebut adalah pengalaman individu. Dengan pengalaman, seseorang dapat membatasi keputusan yang ada. Setelah pilihannya sudah dibatasi, masukan dari individu lain dapat membantu memastikan pilihannya. Faktor lainnya yang terdapat dalam proses ini adalah persuasi. Dalam masukan tersebut, apa yang dikatakan oleh individu tersebut berpengaruh ke keputusan akhirnya. Dengan menggunakan ethos, pathos, dan logos, persuasi akan menjadi lebih efektif. Saat mengajak atau membujuk seseorang, bias lebih baik dihindari atau diminimalkan. Penjelasan sepihak (one-sided)tidak akan efektif karena pendengar tidak dapat melihat dari beberapa sisi untuk mencari keputusan akhirnya untuk sendirinya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of school committees in An-Ndhon Islamic High School, Mijen District, Demak Regency. The research uses a qualitative approach and the method used is a case study. Data sources from the study were the head of the school committee, and the headmaster of An-Nidhom Islamic High School as the key informant (the main source) and teachers, education staff, and local community leaders as the second source. The data collection procedure is done by interview, participant observation, and document analysis related to the object of this study. Discussion of the research findings revealed that there were two quite effective roles carried out by An-Nidhom Islamic High School committee as follows: 1) Participation, 2) Supervision as a sub focus and focus of this research was the role of the school committee in An-Nidhom Islamic High School.

Abstract

The existence of humans in organizations has a very vital position, organizational success is largely determined by the quality of the people who work in it. organizations are not only able to provide satisfying services but are also oriented to values, so organizations can achieve maximum performance in the process of achieving it. Consequently, organizations need human resources who have unique skills and abilities in accordance with the organization's vision and mission. Competency-based human resource development is carried out in order to provide results that are in accordance with the goals and objectives of the organization with established performance standards. The phenomenon that occurs in the field shows that the ability of human resources is still limited, this is evidenced by the existence of workforce data whose education level does not match the type occupation. In performance management, competence plays a role in individual behavior in adjusting work properly. Therefore it is felt necessary to explore more about the role of human resource competencies to create job satisfaction and improve employee performance in the company

Abstract

The Purpose of this research is to explain about implementation concept from development of manpower through their interest and motivation at Taufidzul Qur’an Ar Rahmani Institution. The method for this research is Qualitative descriptive. The data has been collected by interview, quisioner, direct observation and also documentation. The method for credibility data on the reseach is using Triangulation method which is comparison between the result of direct interview and comparison betweenthe result of interview, summary of the result for quisioner data with documents that has been prepared before. Data analytical that has been using for this research is interactive analysis which is reduction data, presentation of data and summary of conclusions. Through this research, its known that the development of human resources at Taufidzul Qur’an Ar-Rahmani Institution are using various program in practice on the field or theory. Top program at Taufidzul Qur’an Ar-Rahmani Institution is Tafidzul Qur’an 30 Juz for boarding student. Term for this program is 6 years and after finished the program will graduating from the Institution. Then program how to learning Al-Qur’an also will giving to the community near the Institution. And then boarding studentalso get enterpreneurship knowledge in theory and practice with business partner and hopefully they can change their thought about enterpreneurship and also living indipendently in the future. We are hoping that Taufidzul Qur’an Ar-ramani Institution can contribute for moslem community especially for orphan anddhuafaand also theycan produce good students who remembered and understand the content of Al-Qur’an and able to apply it in their daily life. Beside of the education of Al-Qur’an, We also hoping Taufidzul Qu’ran Ar-ramani Institution can develop formal education and knowledge of enterpreneurship (Theoritical and practical) for their students. So in the future their students able to living indipendently, creating employment for theirself and others, has good manner and also has high education.

Abstract

The use of computers and devices (mobile phones), is very important in life. The tool has become part of life. However, haphazard usage and do not have enough knowledge in its use, will be a problem. This study aims to describe the role of parents and teachers in preventing lies among junior high school students. The study was conducted for 3 months. The method used is a qualitative method. 25 respondents, consisting of 10 parents and 15 junior high school teachers. The results showed that there was still a lack of parental supervision regarding the use of devices. Parents have not been maximized to provide rules and knowledge of good device use, and it is feared that students will not filter incoming information. The teachers have monitored the use of devices, and have socialized the use of devices. This needs to be improved.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of transparency in managing school finances. The method used is the method of qualitative research methodology. Research procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of words written or spoken from people and behavior that can be seen. This research is a single case study because researchers only conduct research at SMK Al Hadid 2 Bogor. Transparency and accountability in school financial statements largely determine the quality of the school. The more transparent and accountable, the school will be able to be trusted, and get full support from school stakeholders. Accountability and transparency of Alhadid 2 vocational school is good enough The more transparent and accountable a financial report is, the public trust can be improved. However, improvements and improvements in management need to be improved, so that it can run well. The result indicates that the acuntabilities has 76 score. It mean good enough. The school can improve the quality of school.

Abstract

The research aims to find out the strategies and applications of character education at school which are balanced with Islamic religious learning at Attaqwa Bekasi West Java Middle School. This research method is a qualitative study whose data is obtained from observations, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that character education coupled with religious learning has a real character learning strategy, such as visiting an orphanage, doing real practices such as reading the Quran ( holy book ). Character education must be integrated in religious education. The role of religion can meet the needs humans in terms of the directors, mentors, and balancing characters of students.

Abstract

The habit of independent attitude and discipline still needs to be improved among SMK students. Real discipline that can be applied in the field of entrepreneurship. Discipline in schools needs special attention, because discipline can affect students' interest in learning, especially entrepreneurial interest that can be influenced by other variables, such as independent attitude. The purpose of this research is to look for the influence of discipline and independent attitude on student entrepreneurial interest together, the effect of discipline on entrepreneurial interest, and the effect of independent attitude on entrepreneurial interest. The discipline used is quantitative discipline, assisted by the SPSS 22 program. The classic test used is the normality test and Linearity test and coofesien. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence of discipline and independent attitude on entrepreneurial interest, there was no effect of independent attitude on entrepreneurial interest and there was a influence on discipline on entrepreneurial interest.

Abstract

Parents are a good example for their children. The desire of children that can be developed by their parents, will produce an idea, and the gifted talent, entrepreneurial values ​​that have been instilled early on at home, will leave a long lasting effect on the child, so it needs good efforts from parents. This study aims to determine the role of parents, and capital facilities, on entrepreneurship motivation in vocational students in Bogor. This research was conducted by a questionnaire method with a qualitative approach. The research sample was parents of vocational high school students in Bogor. The type of data is primary data with interview techniques and questionnaire data. The results showed that: The role of parents and capital facilities in fostering entrepreneurial motivation is the following, first, parents by providing capital although not much but can facilitate as initial capital, second, give examples, even if only indirectly, provide an understanding of independence does not depend on others, the three parties of the school help students can be entrepreneurs by facilitating products from students can be sold in school cooperatives.
