The ability to speak English among students in Indonesia is very minimal, even though students in Indonesia have studied English since Kindergarten to High School. This raises the question, why did this happen? This study aims to describe the English teaching strategies used by teachers to improve students' speaking skills at school. The sample of this research is the students of class XII SMA Cibinong, West Java, using qualitative methods. Researcher interviews teachers and students in the process of learning English. From this study it was found that the teacher's social strategy is very important because it can make students accustomed to speak English in daily life. Students are not only speak English during English lesson, but they can also speak English whenever needed. The implementation of the social strategy by the teacher for class XII students has been implemented quite well and successful. Then the results of this study also show that students who have the best scores in English lesson use other strategies that encourage themselves to be more proficient in speaking English.

The aims of this research and development are to produce social attitude assessment instrument products in thematic learning theme 7 subtheme 1 grade III SD; find out the visibility of social attitude assessment instruments in thematic learning theme 7 subthemes 1 grade III SD; understand the level of validity of social attitude assessment instruments in thematic learning theme 7 subtheme 1 grade III SD. The approach used is research and development (R&D) by adapting Sukmadinata's research procedures. The subjects in this study were grade III SD. The sampling technique is a random sampling quota technique, which is a technique that determines the number of samples that are owned and taken at random. The data collection technique used was nontest in the form of a questionnaire instrument using a Likert scale. The stages of the research consisted of three stages: a preliminary study; product developmen; and product testing. The results showed that the social attitude instrument out of 30 (thirty) statement items; the visibility of social attitude assessment instruments in thematic learning theme 7 subtheme 1, learning 6 grade III elementary school tested 3 times showed an average of α 0.920 then the instrument categorized as very reliable; the level validity of the social attitude assessment instruments tested at 20, 34 and 43 respondents showed a value of rhit 0.434; 0.418 and 0.414, so that the instrument was worth to used because it is quite valid.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan efektivitas model pembelajaran inquiry learning dan problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran tematik kelas IV. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen yang dilaksanakan di SDN 3 Getas dan SDN 2 Getas dengan populasi siswa kelas IV. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi untuk mengeahui akivitas prosses pembelajaran dan teknik tes untuk mengukur kemampuan tingkat berpikir krittis siswa. uji prasyarat menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji T. Dilanjutkan mengujikan hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya perbedaan efektivitas yang signifikan dalam penerapan model pembelajaran inquiry learning dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran kelas IV. Hasil dari pretest dan posttest diketahui presentase untuk pretest eksperimen I sebesar 67% dan pretest eksperimen II sebesar 66% dan untuk presentase posttest eksperimen I sebesar 82% dan posttest eksperimen II sebesar 72%. Hal ini juga ditunjukkan berdasarkan uji prasyarat yang telah dilakukan yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas menunjukkan signifikan dan homogen, selanjutnya dilakukan uji independent sampel Test menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,000 yang berarti bahwa lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000<0,05). Dari uji T menunjukkan > yaitu 6,334>2,01808 dengan signifikasinya adalah 0,000<0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa ditolak dan diterima.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Problem Based Learning and Problem Solving learning models to the creative thinking skills of the fifth grade elementary school. In this study there are 3 classes, namely the experimental class I in SD Negeri 1 Tanggung using the Problem Based Learning treatment, the experimental class II in SD Negeri 3 Tanggung using the Problem Solving treatment, and the control class in SD Negeri 4 Tanggung for which no treatment was given. The instruments used were observation, questionnaires, and tests. Based on the data obtained the results of the analysis showed a significant difference between the percentage of questionnaires that were reviewed based on the category of students' creative thinking level, in the experimental class I questionnaire percentage was 90.65% (very good) for the experimental class II the questionnaire percentage was 71.4% ( good) and in the control class the percentage of questionnaires was 53.75% (enough). This shows that there is a significant difference in effectiveness between the creative thinking abilities of fifth grade students using the Problem Based Learning and Problem Solving models. This study examines guidance and counseling assistance in overcoming learning difficulties of fifth grade students of SD Sambpres Inpres. The focus of this study discusses the factors that cause learning difficulties of fifth grade students of SD Inpres Sambiki and the discussion of guidance and counseling services in overcoming learning difficulties of fifth grade students of SD Inpres Sambiki. This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research, case study studies. The selection of subjects was done by purposive sampling, namely the fifth grade elementary school teacher Sambpres Inpres, some students who had difficulty learning and several teachers related to this study. Data collection by interview, documentation, and observation. Data analysis process, namely: Data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions / verification. The results showed that the teacher had not made a structured guidance and counseling service program. Tutoring services are carried out by class V teachers in accordance with the teacher's understanding of the concept of guidance and counseling services. Implementation of guidance and counseling services by teachers to help students in class V to achieve learning goals according to the specified targets and not on overcoming problems and difficulties faced by students during the learning process. Tutoring services implemented by the teacher do not match the concept requested. In implementing tutoring services, teachers use the method of improvement and enrichment.

The purpose of this is to see the extent of the role of Christian Education in the local wisdom of Oi Mel Oi Kil paper culture formed from the culture of the Basudara people from two villages so that it strongly reflects the cultural heritage of the ancestors of the Kokwary village and Wakpapapy, which was developed in the form of binding agreements and oaths. This writing qualitatively uses a descriptive approach to see the overall cultural and individual background in the Kokwary community and Wakpapapy. The results of this paper would like to show that in local wisdomculture Oi Mel Oi Kil's actually implies various teachings that are able to uphold the values of brotherhood and foster a sense of harmony, love, and affection in life as a person who in the role of Christianity is taught to love one another and a willingness to sacrifice even though in culture it is done in the form of oaths and promises.

Fish Sago is the result of diversification of fishing products that make use as traditional food of North Mollucas with the adding of Cakalang’s meat. This can help to increase the nutrition from sago palm by using a wood as the material tested. The purpose of this research is to know the level of proteins and fats on fish sago. The significance of this research is (1) to give the information to people about the processing of sago with Cakalang have a good enough nutrition values, (2) diversification and the developing of new fishing products have the economical values that important to the majority, right from public and private institutes that engaged with fish sago business. The examination of fish sago nutrition is at Environment Laboratory in Khairun University Ternate. The results showed that adds of Cakalang in sago can increase the protein level with 15,40%. However, the fats level in the fish sago more low with 1,31%.

Financial education is considered one of the solutions to overcome the problem of low financial literacy. Through this view, this study wants to find out whether financial education can really affect financial literacy in high school students PGRI 4 Jakarta. This research is quantitative with associative type. The population in this study were all students of SMA PGRI 4 2018 Academic Year as many as 497 students. The sample of the study was 205 students with a sample technique that is stratified sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and instruments tested the validity and reliability testing. Data analysis techniques using linear regression test. The results showed that there was no significant effect of financial education on financial literacy in SMA PGRI 4 Jakarta students.

Earthquake disaster that has happened in morotai since 16 september 2017 had potentially 5.8 SR broke down public facilities, society's building and it impacted on psycology traumatic. the amount of loss arising from the disaster it is necessary to study steps so that the community is able to overcome the incident. Therefore, this research aimed to know the society in boarder area's preparadness in handling natural disaster. Th research methode used descriptive analysis with qualitative research where the ability of preparadness can be seen from the society's element such as shool,household and government. The result showed that the society"s understanding in preparadness and action related to disaster was still very minim, while respon emergency plan and aleret warning system jad the same portion and the same independent variable.

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences between STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) learning models and NHT (Number Head Together) learning models towards learning styles and student learning outcomes. This research consists of 2 stages, namely Pretest and Posttest. The subjects were grade IV students of SD N Manggihan and class IV MI Nurul Islam Batur 02 Getasan District, Semarang Regency. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there are differences in the use of the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) learning model and the NHT (Number Head Together) learning model towards learning styles and student learning outcomes. The STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) learning model is better able to show the ability of learning styles and student learning outcomes, in terms of Sig. (2 tailed) is 0,000 <0.005 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
