Jurnal Ilmiah Wahana Pendidikan (JIWP) Diterbitkan sebagai upaya untuk mempublikasikan hasil-hasil penelitian dan temuan di bidang pendidikan . Jurnal ini terbit 4 bulanan, yaitu bulan April, Agustus dan Desember. *Ruang Lingkup* Memuat hal kajian, analisis, dan penelitian tentang perancangan, pengembangan, pengelolaan, pemanfaatan, evaluasi, dan penelitian dalam bidang pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kinerja dan memfasilitasi belajar di lembaga pendidikan formal, non-formal dan informal serta lembaga-lembaga pelatihan. *Deskripsi* Jurnal Ilmiah Wahana Pendidikan merupakan media komunikasi ilmiah bagi dosen, guru, widyaiswara, mentor, mahasiswa, dan praktisi pendidikan lainnya serta pemerhati kependidikan. Jurnal ini dimaksudkan sebagai wadah untuk menyebarluaskan hasil kajian, pemikiran, penelitian, dan evaluasi yang relevan dengan kawasan pendidikan yakni perancangan, pengembangan, pengelolaan, pemanfaatan, evaluasi dan penelitian dalam bidang pendidikan, pembelajaran dan evaluasi. Artikel yang diterima dan diproses oleh redaksi adalah artikel secara substansi berhubungan dengan kawasan pendidikan.

Multiculturalism is an ideology that emphasizes equality in cultural differences. Multicultural education recognizes the ethnic and cultural diversity of a nation's people.The research method used is descriptive research with library research. Education that is oriented towards humanity, togetherness and peace to develop the principles of democracy, equality and justice in social life, especially in heterogeneous societies, requires a universal life orientation. Among universal life orientations are humanity, togetherness, and peace. This universal life orientation is an orientation point for multicultural education. Multicultural education is education that provides recognition, appreciation and respect for differences in equality in terms of language, race, ethnicity, culture and religion.

The Taliban, which means “students” in the Pashto language. They emerged in the early 1990s in northern Pakistan. Fought alongside the Mujahideen which is Afghan rebels after Soviet occupation. Majority of the Taliban members had studied in conservative religious schools in Afghanistan and across the border in Pakistan. In 1996, the Taliban seized Kabul, the capital city. At that time, they hanged Najibullah Ahmaddzai who was the last communist president of Afghanistan. The Taliban enforcing traditional Islamist rules and confining women to their homes. Women from conservative communities also perceived western, modern influences are wrong, it made the patriarchal culture continue to develop in Afghanistan until it eventually led to discrimination of women's rights. The United Nations (UN) has an important role, that is assisting in the protection and enforcement of human rights in accordance with their duties. The UN had successfully ratified the universal declaration of human rights (UDHR) on December 10, 1948. This Convention discusses the elimination of all forms of discrimination, one of which is against the rights of women and children.

The Arabic language teaching system at Madrasah Aliyah is increasingly complex, dynamic, and varied according to the development of human knowledge. One strategy that can support the achievement of language learning objectives is to create a language environment. The language environment with all the linguistic activities contained in it and carried out by students properly can support the process of mastering the language MAN Insan Cendikia West Halmahera which is the research location is located in a district in North Maluku province which has also implemented a boarding school learning system for its students. With the availability of adequate advice and infrastructure, it can support the improvement of language skills for students In this study, researchers used two approaches to Learning Theory as a reinforcement of the research results. The theory used was Behaviorism Theory or the theory of behavior change caused by stimulus and response and also Social Learning theory from Albert Bandura. This research uses descriptive qualitative research and to see the success rate of the program, researchers use the CIPP evaluation model. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that Madrasah Aliyah Insan Cendikia West Halmahera has carried out several Language Programs in the context of forming an Arabic-language environment including international Day, muhadarah usbuiyah and qismu Allugha, besides that other supporting activities are carrying out routine studies using classic books with certain themes. Natural language acquisition also exists through interactions between teachers and students using Arabic, announcements also use Arabic and English, and also through posters or pictures attached to the walls of the madrasa. Evaluation of the language program using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process and Product) has shown good results, the programs implemented have had a major impact on the development of Arabic in madrasas..

The manufacturing industry, especially in the turning process, where turning is a cutting process that uses machine tools to produce cylindrical shapes and can also be used to thread, drill and flatten rotating objects by cutting the rotating workpiece on the spindle using cutting tools (chisels ) that have a level of hardness above the formed workpiece. The results obtained from this study are to obtain the value of the power and efficiency of the material without heat treatment, the value of power is 0.081154 kw at 290 rpm, 0.103542 kw at 370 rpm, 0.128727 kw at 460 rpm. The efficiency value is 0.000054 (%) at 290 rpm 0.00006902 (%) at 370 rpm 0.0000858 (%) at 460 rpm rotation. For heat-treated materials, the power value is 0.081154 kw at 290 rpm, 0.103542 kw at 370 rpm, 0.128727 kw at 460 rpm. The efficiency value is 0.0000541 (%) at 290 rpm 0.000069028 (%) at 370 rpm, 0.0000858 (%) at 460 rotation for 60 mm infeed length

Local culture is a treasure trove of Indonesian artistic treasures, some of which are known throughout the world. In the world of education, local culture is also used as a medium in the learning process. Therefore, education cannot be separated from cultural development because it is closely related. This paper aims to describe the relationship between education and the existence of culture and tries to explain the correlation descriptively which is supported by the opinion of experts. The results of the analysis based on theory and reality in the field show that local culture is able to provide a very good stimulus in efforts to improve the quality of education. Because local culture can be used as a medium for creating learning materials by way of field practice through dance, oral literature, local wisdom (culinary), the implementation of which is in the form of field visits or to tourist attractions to practice it. Thus, this will encourage students to be enthusiastic in absorbing and easily understanding it.

Active and interactive learning is what is to be achieved in the learning process, it is hoped that it will grow and develop the potential of students and optimize learning outcomes. One model that can be used in the learning process is the Talking Stick Type Cooperative learning model. This learning model places more emphasis on understanding the material taught by the teacher by answering questions so that students can be active in learning, so that their learning outcomes are maximized. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an increase in students' cognitive learning outcomes after using the Talking Stick Type Cooperative learning model. in the science subject, class III students at SD Negeri Wai Ina for the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a class action research (CAR). The research was conducted in two cycles, the research subjects were class III students at SD Negeri Wai Ina consisting of 22 students. The material used by the researcher is an objective test of 10 questions at each meeting. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative data analysis technique, namely by looking at the results of test data from a predetermined population. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' cognitive learning outcomes by applying the Talking Stick Type Cooperative learning model to the eyes. science lessons for class III students of SD Negeri Wai Ina. It can be seen from the 22 students who took 2 tests there was an increase in students' cognitive learning outcomes, the test in the first cycle some students were considered incomplete in terms of their learning outcomes, while in cycle II there was an increase which was considered successful with an average score above KKM 65.

This research is quantitative and employs a survey method. The study was conducted at SMA N 6 TidoreKepulauan. The subjects of the study were 130 respondents. Based on the results of data analysis using SPSS with the rank-order correlation technique (Sprearman's Rho Rank-order Correlation), a correlation coefficient value of -0,834 was obtained. The conclusion of the study is that emotional regulation variables have a relationship with alcohol abuse. The value of the negative correlation coefficient indicates the direction of the relationship, namely that the higher the level of emotional regulation, the lower the level of alcohol abuse, and vice versa. The emotion regulation variable is a variable that affects alcohol abuse. For this reason, it is necessary to take precautions so that high school students do not fall into alcohol abuse behaviors. Students are expected to be able to manage negative emotions by better understanding the emotions felt and being able to express them appropriately.

This study aims to describe students' understanding of concepts in basic chemistry course I for the material of hydrocarbons. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The research subjects were 21 semester I students of the Tadris biology and mathematics study programs who were programming basic chemistry courses I. Data collection techniques used test questions with data analysis using descriptive quantitative. The results showed that 30% of the students answered correctly the name of the alkane compound, 21% answered correctly the name of the alkene, 30% answered correctly the name of the alkyne, 67% answered correctly the concept of the position of the carbon atom, 40% were able to write the structure of the hydrocarbon compound based on the name given. given, 20% of students were able to write isomers of hydrocarbon compounds

Ivan Illich did not advocate abolishing schools, but disestablishment, or do not regard schools as superior, rigid, authoritarian institutions, and tend to force people to just follow their policies. He is dissatisfied with schools whose operations are funded by the community through taxes, but are less accessible to the community, as a result of various regulations that are difficult for the community to enter. According to Illich, the objective conditions and educational situation that took place in Latin America at that time were not able to answer and resolve all kinds of social problems faced by students in his era. The school only encouraged and made students feel alienated from the social life they faced at that time, the school was likened to an institution to force all children to climb the educational ladder which had no end and was not qualified to give birth to the potential of students. The compulsory learning system in schools kills the free will and creativity of many people for independent learning to increase their creative potential in life, knowledge is carried out like a commodity, packaged, and then sold to students at very high prices

Differentiated learning is an integral part of the independent curriculum. This study aims to (1) see the form of planning that has been carried out by history teachers in carrying out differentiated learning (2) what forms of evaluation have been carried out by history teachers. The research was conducted at two schools, namely public high school 1 and 10 Pontianak.
