Abstract

This study investigates students' needs for grammar learning in English class in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) context. This study uses a quantitative research methodology with a survey design. Data were collected from ESP students at an English language institution, specifically taking classes for police registration. The findings show that students already have reasonable goals in learning grammar, and almost all students also agree with the necessity of learning grammar. Even so, students still have difficulties in learning grammar and implementing it. Thus, a better method is needed in teaching grammar according to the needs and interests of students. Therefore, students can understand grammar learning in all English skills. It is recommended that future researchers dig deeper into the strategies that can be used so that grammar learning becomes more effective according to students' needs.

Abstract

This study aims to calculate the unit or unit costcost and use of resource capacity in Home IndustryCurrent Blessing Know Ladder at this time by using the methodTime-Driven Activity Based Costing (TDABC). TDABC methodcharge a total fee based on the time used bycompanies to carry out production activities. The advantages ofTDABC method is able to provide information regardinguse of capacity and unused capacity orwaste of resource capacity. This research usesqualitative method with a case study approach. According to procedure,Qualitative research data for this case study were obtained byconducting interviews, triangulation and documentation. Is knownfrom the calculation of the unit cost calculated by the TDABC methodRp. 485.42 for white tofu per piece, and Rp. 718.52for yellow tofu per piece. In addition, the application of TDABC as wellcan provide information about resource capacitywhich is wasted. In Home Industry TofuBerkah Berkah Lancar is known to be the biggest waste of capacitycontained in the cost pool cost of sales that is equal to 68%. Fromavailable capacity is 76,500 minutes minus used capacity24,480 minutes, so the capacity is used 52,020 minutes.Waste of capacity if converted to the rupiah value is Rp15,606,000.00.

Abstract

State and regional finance are two important aspects of public finance related to budget management and financial policies that aim to ensure a balance between state revenues and expenditures. However, in fact the implementation of state and regional finances in Indonesia is still not running smoothly because there are still some deviations from irresponsible parties. This study aims to find out more about bribery cases in Indonesia from the perspective of state administrative law, as well as the relationship between bribery cases and state finances. For the research method that we use, namely the normative research method which is examined using reference materials. The results of this study are that bribery is an activity of giving promises, offers or gifts, to officials either directly or indirectly so that the relevant officials act or are silent while carrying out their duties. In the case of bribery over the function of this forest, the state suffered a loss of 5 billion. Therefore, firm action is needed from the government so that this kind of abuse does not happen again.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perumusan strategi analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunity, dan Threats) dengan menggunakan matriks pada UMKM di wilayah Kabupaten Bekasi. Salah satu UMKM di wilayah Kabupaten Bekasi yang populer di masyarakat adalah Basreng dengan nama merek produk BasrengKuy dengan 5 varian rasa yaitu original, keju, pedas, barbeque, dan jagung bakar. UMKM BasrengKuy ini memiliki slogan ‘Dijamin Nagih’, sehingga alasan kami membuka usaha bisnis makanan ringan BasrengKuy ini karena awalnya ingin membuat bisnis makanan trend kekinian yang enak, gurih, dan simple tapi bikin nagih. Metode yang dipakai pada penelitian ini yaitu wawancara serta literature review, data dikumpulkan dengan cara melaksanakan analisis pada penelitian terdahulu dengan judul yang sama. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu UMKM BasrengKuy ini didapatkan analisis SWOT yang dihubungkan dengan kombinasi strategi matriks SWOT, lalu UMKM BasrengKuy ini juga menggunakan strategi dengan menggunakan konsep Marketing Mix P7 yaitu Product (Produk), Price (Harga), Promotion (Promosi), Place (Tempat), People (Orang), Physical Evidence (Analisa Lingkungan Fisik), dan Process (Proses).

Abstract

This study aims to enable high school/MA students 1) to know and design a Water Heater Demonstration Tool Using an Arduino Uno R3-Based Portable Heater and a DS18B20 Sensor on the Thermodynamics Concept, 2) to know the results of experiments using an Arduino Uno-based Water Heater trainer on the Thermodynamics concept , 3) can find out the comparison of the results of the Arduino-based demonstration with the display shown by the Thermodynamics temperature measuring device. This research method uses the Research and Development method. The results of the study show that the weather heater trainer using the Arduino-based portable heater and sensor DS18B20 can explain the concept of thermodynamics in the discussion of energy changes, heat insulation against temperature properly. This teaching aid obtains measurement results with the smallest error value of -3.95% and the largest error of 2.27% when compared to the results of measuring the temperature of the thermometer.

Abstract

The Ombudsman is an institution tasked with monitoring the administration of public services provided by state and government authorities, including those held by public companies or local businesses. The Ombudsman's success target is to improve services and increase public satisfaction with public services. Control by the ombudsman over the provision of public services is a type of external oversight that is repressive in nature. This is because the bodies outside government agencies that are further examined carry out ombudsman supervision. The Ombudsman carries out supervision based on public reports regarding bad behavior or maladministration of public officials, then the Ombudsman monitors or enforces laws and regulations against irregularities committed by the administration of public services.

Abstract

The Central Bureau of Statistics predicts that Indonesia will be in a demographic bonus period in 2030. This year is the same year as the year the goal of achieving the goal of creating decent work and economic growth goals. The real problem that arises when the state is unable to manage the demographic bonus is the high unemployment rate. The results of the study show that the problems of fulfilling decent work and livelihoods during the demographic bonus period can be answered by fulfilling decent work indicators in Goal 8 of the Sustainable Development Goals Decent Work and Economic Growth. Indicators of success are the opening of MSME access and job creation. Goal 8 of TPB views that developing MSMEs can create jobs. So as to be able to accommodate employment during the demographic bonus period. Its manifestation in Indonesia can be seen in the UMKM optimization policy which is supported by the work copyright law. This regulation is expected to be able to answer the challenges of labor market competition. The government views that through the ease of investment in MSMEs it will open up many jobs and help improve the ability of the workforce later. When looking at the fulfillment of decent work in 2030 with the SDGs indicator, it appears that Indonesia is ready to face the challenges of employment during the demographic bonus period. The research was conducted using normative juridical methods by collecting secondary data. The approach used in this study is a statutory and conceptual approach. The results of data analysis will be described descriptively.

Abstract

An online store is a way to carry out public sale transactions via the Internet. Online stores allow people to get the products they want without leaving their homes. Internet use by students cannot be separated from consumption patterns by online retailers. Advances in telecommunication technology have made it easier for students to transact and sell goods, goods and services in online shops. Not only are they customers, but they are also online store owners. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of using an online shop on the buying habits of Untirta students Batch 2020. This research uses a descriptive approach by describing, demonstrating, and describing a research phenomenon, namely campus life using online shops. This technique conveys object data in a natural, objective, and fact-based manner. This study takes a qualitative approach because it is based on scientific evidence, uses natural methodologies, and is conducted by researchers interested in the natural world. From this research, it can be seen that female students use online shops for a reason. It also turns out that female students use online shops mainly to enhance and improve their lifestyle with popular themes, especially in artist styles. College students with more money can also buy their favorite clothes online. And with the convenience of shopping, it creates consumptive behavior among Untirta Sociology students Batch 2020.

Abstract

Insurance or insurance agreement is an agreement that provides protection against an event that occurs unplanned or cannot be known at the time of the agreement. In the agreement, there are legal subjects who bind themselves to each other in the insurance agreement, namely the insurer and the insured, each of whom has rights and obligations. All agreements that have been agreed upon by both parties are stated in a deed, namely a policy. The insurance policy must have provisions as stipulated in Article 1320 of the Indonesian Civil Code. The author adopts a normative legal methodology, doing research and drawing conclusions from existing works of literature, statutory and regulatory legislation, and insurance contract clauses. Written work by the author leads to the conclusion that, in the event of a covered loss, the insurer will pay the insured the full amount specified in the policy, regardless of who is at fault for the loss, but that the insurer will not pay out if the policy lacks provisions for classifying losses caused by the insured.

Abstract

It's a reality of life that everyone will eventually be put in danger, whether by other humans or by the forces of nature (in the form of floods, earthquakes, and so on). Insurance is one kind of risk transfer and is often regarded as the best method to manage risk. Having life insurance involves setting aside money in the event of an emergency, which may help to replace lost income. Insurance and other forms of savings may protect a family from financial ruin in the event of an unexpected loss of income. Normative legal research methodology was applied for this study. The discussion's findings demonstrate the interconnectedness of Indonesia's legal protection legislation for policyholders, forming a kind of legal umbrella under which policyholders may exercise their rights. The Indonesian Insurance Mediation and Arbitration Agency (BMAI) may be contacted if a disagreement arises during the claims procedure.
