Abstract

Folk poetry, especially in the form of healing mantras, is rarely heard of. In the modern era, there are so many health workers, that the healing mantra is beginning to be eroded in certain areas. This is different from Tegalsari Village, Purwasari District, Karawang Regency, where some people still use healing spells due to several factors, namely economic factors, educational factors, and distant health development infrastructure factors. Apart from that, students can get to know folk poetry in the form of healing mantras, especially in Karawang Regency, using animated video teaching media. The research aims to analyze the structure of folk poetry in the form of healing mantras in Tegalsari Village, Purwasari District, Karawang Regency and its use as a teaching medium for animated videos in class VII junior high schools. The techniques used are observation, interviews, recording, notes and documentation. The research uses qualitative methods, namely describing the structure of folk poetry in the form of healing mantras. The researcher has several data on treatment spells from observations, namely: (1) spells for treating fever, (2) spells for treating scurvy, (3) spells for treating skin diseases, (4) spells for treating eye diseases, (5) spells for treating boils, (6) snake peck treatment spell. Apart from that, researchers utilized the research results as animated video teaching media.

Abstract

The research was conducted in order to find out related to the standardization of physics laboratories in SMA Negeri Kalisat Jember to fulfill the final project of the laboratory management course. This research is included in descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The research was conducted on September 22, 2023 at SMA Negeri Kalisat Jember. The subject of our research is the person in charge of the laboratory, laboratory room and laboratory warehouse at SMA Negeri Kalisat Jember. From direct observation there is a laboratory organizational structure, SOP and laboratory rules. Techniques used in this research with data collection using research instruments, namely observation sheets, interview guidelines and documentation. The results of this standardization research are supported by physics laboratory infrastructure in the school with an average of 100% including a very good classification, the standardization of the carrying capacity of the facilities has an average percentage of 100% with a very good classification, the standardization of laboratory personnel has an average percentage of 95% in the very good category, Overall the physics laboratory of SMA Negeri Kalisat Jember has a very good category standardization with an average of 96.6%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by deaf students, each of whom has different deficiencies and communication abilities in the teaching and learning process. Interpersonal communication patterns have an important role in the teaching and learning process to help teachers and deaf students to communicate during learning. Interpersonal communication patterns are applied so that the teaching and learning process can run effectively and learning objectives are achieved. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The aim of this research is to find out the obstacles and solutions to interpersonal communication patterns between teachers and deaf students in the teaching and learning process at SLB Negeri 1 West Krawang. The theory used in this research is the SOR (Stimulus, Organism, Response) theory by Hovland in 1953. The results of the research show that teachers' interpersonal communication patterns with deaf students in the teaching and learning process occur in one direction (linear), two directions (interactive), in many directions (transactional) with the help of learning methods, namely lecture, question and answer and media methods. The six informants agreed that the application of interpersonal communication methods and patterns can help the communication process during teaching and learning to be effective and in line with expectations. The obstacle is that deaf students have minimal knowledge of vocabulary and master different languages ​​for each child, and to overcome this is by using media methods such as pictures, videos, writing, and so on.

Abstract

Plants that are efficacious as wound healers from natural ingredients, namely binahong leaves and lime peel. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the combination of binahong leaf extract (Anredera cordifolia (Ten.) Steenis) and lime peel (Citrus aurantifolia) on the healing of cuts in male rats (Rattus noervegicus). In the test animal, an incision was made on the back with a length of 2 cm and a wound depth of 0.2 cm using a scalpel (bisturi). The test animals were divided into six treatment groups: normal control without ointment, negative control given ointment base, positive control given povidone iodine ointment, formulation 1 given extract combination ointment (1:3), formulation 2 given extract combination ointment (1:1). , and formulation 3 was given an extract combination ointment (3:1). Ointment is given twice daily for 14 days. Observation of wound healing was carried out by measuring the decrease in the length of the incision in the test animals. The results showed that the combination ointment of binahong leaf extract and lime peel formulation 1 with concentration (1:3) and formulation 2 with concentration (1:1) experienced healing on the 8th day, formulation 3 with concentration (3:1) experienced recovery on day 9. Statistical results using the Mann Whitney HocPost for the F1, F2, and F3 treatment groups compared to the positive control did not have a significant difference because the value obtained was p> 0.05. It was concluded that the combination ointment of binahong leaf extract and lime peel has healing activity for cuts and can be used as a healer for cuts.

Abstract

This research discusses the digital-based persuasive communication strategies used by OLX Autos in building effective communication with their digital platform users. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study, and purposive sampling technique is used in the selection of informants, which consists of managers, Regional Heads, OLX Autos employees, and experienced customers. The results showed that OLX Autos successfully integrated strong persuasive principles in their communication strategy, including the use of social proof, creating a sense of urgency, and delivering relevant information. Persuasive communication is key in building effective relationships with consumers and increasing their awareness and interest. OLX Autos also utilizes digital platforms such as social media, websites, and mobile applications to reach a wider audience and provide more compelling messages. The change in OLX Autos' business model that combines traditional and digital concepts brings innovation in used car marketing. The research also highlights the importance of the concept of digital anthropology in the analysis of used car marketing. Through digital data analysis, OLX Autos can understand consumer preferences and needs more accurately. In conclusion, OLX Autos has successfully built an effective digital-based persuasive communication strategy and utilized online platforms to increase consumer awareness and interest, and integrated the concept of digital anthropology in their marketing analysis.

Abstract

Correctional officers have various types of obligations and responsibilities that are directly related to the course of social life in society. This is due to the role of the Correctional Officer which actually covers the management and development of humans who are marginalized or become enemies of the community due to mistakes or violations committed by them in the past. Correctional officers are tasked with providing guidance, supervision, and special counseling to those referred to as Correctional Inmates, it aims to prepare people who are serving the sentence to eventually be accepted again in the community. However, in fact there are still various mistakes or acts of unprofessional behavior carried out by a Correctional Officer, this is what then gave birth to a special search for strategies that can be determined to solve this very serious problem.

Abstract

Human resources (HR) are a determining factor for success in achieving a company's goals. Excessive workload can have a serious impact on various aspects of life. Therefore, the aim of implementing the NASA-TLX method is to increase employee work efficiency and productivity, as well as minimize the risk of fatigue and stress which can affect employee health and performance. The research methodology used in this research is the research and development method, which refers to identifying problems in the field and carrying out development. Based on the recapitulation results of PT workers' WWL calculations. XYZ is 81.165 which is included in the very high category. Of the 8 respondents who filled out the questionnaire, it was found that the results of the interpretation of employees' mental workload were 4 workers who got very high interpretation scores and 4 workers who got high interpretation scores. If the company wants to reduce the mental workload and efforts made in the Service Engineering section, remember if there are additional employees, it will cost the company more, with the addition of 1 worker reducing the workload and mental load from 81,165 to 72.15, the addition of 2 workers to 64.93 and the addition of 3 workers to 59.02.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh diferensiasi pelayanan terhadap strategi bersaing pada café galang di food court limboto. (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh cost leadership terhadap strategi bersaing pada café galang di food court limboto. (3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh diferensiasi pelayanan dan cost leadership berpengaruh terhadap strategi bersaing pada café di food court limboto. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu nonprobability sampling dengan 96 responden, metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebar kepada konsumen pada cafe galang, dan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dijelaskan bahwa: (1) diferensiasi pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap strategi bersaing pada cafe Galang di food court limboto karena nilai t hitung sebesar 2.155>1.985 dan nilai signifikan 0,034<0,05. (2) cost leadership berpengaruh signifikan terhadap strategi bersaing pada café galang di food court limboto karena nilai t hitung sebesar6.885>1.985 dan nilai signifikan 0,000<0,05. (3) diferensiasi pelayanan dan cost leadership berpengaruh signifikan terhadap strategi bersaing pada café galang di food court limboto karena f hitung sebesar 223.503>F-tabel 3.09 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000<a 0,05. maka hasil koefisien determinasi memiliki R Square sebesar 0,828 (82.8%) sedangkan sisanya 17.2%.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional period of development from childhood to adulthood where during this process, adolescents could be influenced by various factors such as stress. The inability of adolescents to cope with stress appropriately may result in numerous adverse outcomes, including psychosomatic symptoms. Resilience is the ability to respond positively while facing difficult life situations. The presence of resilience may help adolescence effectively resolve the negative outcomes of stress to not develop into psychosomatic symptoms. This is a quantitative research to figure out the role of stress on psychosomatic symptoms in adolescence while using resilience as a moderating variable. A total of 170 adolescents from Denpasar participated in this study. The tools used for data collection in this study are Resilience Scale, Stress Scale, Somatic Symptom Scale–8 (SSS-8), dan Psychosomatic Symptom Scale. The sampling technique used in this study is disproportionate stratified sampling, and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) was used for data analysis. The results from the MRA test revealed that stress has an individual coefficient value of 1,209 with a significance of 0,019 (p<0,05), which indicates that stress has a significant role in psychosomatic symptoms in adolescents. The moderation of resilience has a coefficient value of -0,005 with a significance of 0,318 (p>0,05), which indicates that resilience doesn’t have a significant role to strengthen or weaken the relationship between stress and psychosomatic symptoms in adolescents.

Abstract

Penggunaan bahasa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari seringkali dicampur-adukkan dengan bahasa lain, seperti bahasa Indonesia dengan bahasa daerah maupun bahasa asing. Pencampuran antara dua bahasa atau lebih digunakan untuk mempermudah komunikasi sehari-hari. Hal inilah yang mengakibatkan adanya campur kode dan alih kode dalam berbahasa. Campur kode merupakan penggunaan suatu bahasa yang didalamnya terdapat unsur bahasa lain, sedangkan alih kode adalah peralihan suatu bahasa ke bahasa lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk campur kode serta alih kode dalam film Susah Sinyal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melalui dialog antar tokoh dalam film Susah Sinyal. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Simak bebas cakap dan teknik catat. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh jenis-jenis campur kode pada film Susah Sinyal, terdiri dari campur kode ke dalam, campur kode ke luar dan campur kode campuran. Campur kode berdasarkan bentuknya terdiri dari campur kode berwujud kata, campur kode berwujud frasa, campur kode berwujud baster, campur kode berwujud perulangan kata, campur kode berwujud klausa. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini diperoleh jenis-jenis alih kode pada film Susah Sinyal terdiri dari alih kode eksternal. Alih kode berdasarkan bentuknya terdiri dari alih kode bentuk kalimat dan alih kode bentuk antar kalimat.
