It has come out clearly that classroom management is a critical component in determining the academic performance of students in classroom, however, the effectiveness of the aspects of management, namely, planning, organizing, directing and controlling depends on an ability to balance the same. In this research, the writer aims to discover how those functions enhance the students’ performance in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Private As’adiyah No. 2, an Indonesian religious school with both secular and religious components. This study employed a qualitative descriptive design to elicit data that explored the effects of classroom management on academics: Observations, interviews and document reviews were used. The identified strategies show that adaptive planning, systematic classroom arrangement, appropriate proportions of teacher intervention, and proper but variable monitorage promote both academic and personal development. Besides, the study informs contextual factors such as parental support, resources, and teacher stressful conditions that may impact successful management of the classroom. As such this study builds on the current knowledge in the classroom management literature by applying the strategies in the context of a madrasah that is a religious and diverse learning institution. Projected onto educators and policymakers the implications delineate the centrality of a contingency approach to class organization that is neither rigid nor lax but orders the environment in a way that complements the learning-teaching process and the students’ psychosocial character.

This study examines the correlation between teachers' digital phobia and the effectiveness of blended learning in Ibadan Metropolis, Oyo State, Nigeria. Through a multistage sampling process involving 186 teachers from private and public secondary schools, the research sheds light on various aspects. It highlights a predominance of female teachers, with public schools hosting a majority of educators. Notably, social media tools like WhatsApp are extensively used for instructional purposes in public schools. The study observes instances of public-school teachers teaching multiple subjects, contrary to specialization policies. Blended learning approaches, particularly the Generic model, are favored, with digital phobias such as Loremophobia and Nomophobia being prevalent. Analysis reveals a strong positive correlation between digital phobia and blended learning effectiveness, emphasizing the importance of teacher commitment in overcoming technological anxieties. Private schools demonstrate superior performance in blended learning effectiveness, potentially due to better access to technology and training. However, private school educators’ exhibit heightened digital phobias, possibly driven by increased expectations and job insecurity. In conclusion, the study underscores the intricate relationship between digital phobias and the efficacy of blended learning among secondary school educators, emphasizing the pivotal role of teachers in leveraging technology for enhanced learning outcomes.

This study explores the impact of initial abilities on learning outcomes in the Education Statistics course at STIT DDI Pasangkayu. Using a descriptive and quantitative approach, data from 22 students were analyzed. Correlation and simple linear regression analyses, performed with SPSS software, revealed a strong positive correlation (r = 0.754) between students' initial abilities and their final exam scores. The coefficient of determination (r² = 0.568) indicates that initial abilities account for approximately 56.8% of the variance in learning outcomes. The significance of this relationship (p = 0.022) underscores the crucial role of early cognitive skills in academic success. Although initial abilities are a significant predictor of performance, 43.2% of the variance is influenced by other factors, highlighting the need for a broader approach that includes additional variables to fully understand academic achievement. These findings emphasize the importance of assessing students' initial abilities and considering other contributing factors to enhance learning outcomes.

This paper examines the use of TikTok as a reference source by students in the Library Science Study Program at the University of North Sumatra with the view of determining its suitability for academic supplement. In the world where digital media and social platforms are widely used in education the concept of non-traditional sources such as TikTok is helpful. This research uses interview, observation and documentation as its data collection techniques and the data collected will be analyzed using the techniques presented by Miles and Huberman. The study shows that despite the fact that TikTok is famous for sharing informative and interesting videos, it is not well used by students as the main academic source. Some students are still skeptical, and therefore, rely on conventional learning materials, including books and scholarly journals, because of concerns relating to TikTok’s academic credibility and the risk of fake news. From the study, one can infer that social media platforms such as TikTok need to be incorporated in academic practices but in moderation while useful, they should not replace conventional sources. This research aims to add to the body of knowledge about digital literacy in higher education institutions and offers the educators an idea of how to encourage use of social media technologies and at the same time helping the students to remain active and critical evaluators of information.

Academic supervision has a significant impact on teachers' abilities in developing learning processes, including planning, implementation, and assessment of learning. This study aims to identify and analyze efforts to enhance teacher competence, as well as the inhibiting and supporting factors in the use of learning media through academic supervision at SDN 020 Penajam. The method used is descriptive qualitative, utilizing interview techniques with teacher informants at SDN 020 Penajam. Data analysis techniques employ the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results show that the role of the school principal as an academic supervisor is substantial and helps teachers improve their competence in using learning media in the classroom. Despite technical obstacles such as limited network access, the enthusiasm and commitment of the supervisor in guiding and motivating teachers are supportive factors in efforts to enhance teacher competence in using learning media at SDN 020 Penajam.

This study aims to explore the optimization of the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) as an information retrieval tool in the Library of SMA Negeri 3 Medan, focusing on identifying the challenges and barriers to its effective use. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, utilizing interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection methods. Interviews were conducted with a librarian and three students, while observations focused on the practical issues related to OPAC usage. The findings reveal that the use of OPAC in the library is not optimal, with challenges including system integration difficulties, insufficient librarian training, and limited user familiarity. Efforts to enhance OPAC usage involve promoting OPAC awareness, increasing computer access points, and ongoing system maintenance. However, the effectiveness of these measures is hindered by technical and educational constraints, highlighting the need for targeted interventions to fully leverage OPAC's potential in improving library services.
