Abstract

The machine is the main component in carrying out the production process. Maintenance of production process facilities is an activity to support smooth production. The production process facility in the form of a machine is maintained in the same condition as when it was new or reasonable conditions to carry out operations, when the machine is damaged the production process will be affected and the most fatal process production process stopped Problems at PT. XYZ is a machine that often experiences downtime, after direct observation of problems at PT. XYZ must use the Overall Equipment Effectiveness method to determine the overall effectiveness of equipment with this method the problems of downtime, loss time, cycle time, defects, operation time, and loading time will be known how long the ineffectiveness is, Based on the January 2023 values of 90%, February 90%, and March 84%, and performance calculations in January 99%, February 64%, and March 100%, but in these three months it has not met the international standard in OEE of 85%. Abstract

Occupational safety and health play a crucial role in maintaining productivity, sustainability, and the reputation of a company. Unsafe or unhealthy working conditions can lead to workplace accidents, injuries, or even fatalities. Additionally, the costs associated with work-related accidents or illnesses can be significant, including medical expenses, workers' compensation, and lost productivity. Therefore, it is important for companies to have an effective occupational safety and health program to protect their employees. One method used to analyze and manage occupational safety and health risks is HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control). In this report, we will discuss the background of occupational safety and health and explain the steps of HIRARC in identifying, assessing, and controlling occupational safety and health risks in the workplace. The HIRARC method serves as an effort to prevent or minimize workplace accidents and includes a combination of Hazard Identification, followed by Risk Assessment to evaluate potential hazards in milling machines, lathe machines, and production areas, and finally Risk Control to implement measures that can minimize workplace accidents in the working environment. Abstract

Fish is the product of various types of natural resources and is widely consumed by most people. Based on data obtained from the Office of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of West Nusa Tenggara, Sumbawa is ranked second in West Nusa Tenggara as an area with high potential in the world of fisheries and it is very likely that many people will be involved in the world of fisheries. One of the fish supply companies located in the city of Sumbawa is UD Wijaya Samawa. This company is engaged in catching, processing and selling fish. However, in the fish packaging production process, there are problems with inefficient placement of facilities and layout resulting in waste of both time and place, thus disrupting the ongoing production process. One method that can be used to streamline production process facilities is the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method. As for determining alternative layout proposals, namely by using the BLOCPLAN Algorithm based on the ARC that has been made. The results of this study are alternative layout proposals that can minimize the distance from the previous 54 meters to 35.53 meters so that the distance can be reduced by 18.47 meters. Abstract

The construction of the main entrance to Sumbawa's Sultan Kaharuddin Airport was carried out by CV. Swadaya Mas Engineering. Based on the results of observations in the field, potential work accidents were discovered. HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) is a systematic, thorough, and structured hazard identification method for identifying various problems. The results of the analysis at the airport are 50% with extreme potential risk (Extreme Risk), 25% with high-risk level (High Risk), 25% with moderate risk level (Moderate Risk), and 14% with low-risk level (Low Risk) and potential classification There are 29% potential hazards in the work attitude classification. 14% potential danger in work procedure classification, and 57% potential danger in workplace classification. Suggestions for improvement (1) organize materials to make them neater by installing warning gates, (2) implement SOP and provide outreach to workers regarding the importance of K3 and the use of APD, (3) directly implement the priority of using APD. Abstract

This research aims to update min-max stock and focus on which items need extra supervision using ABC analysis at PT TR. This data collection technique uses observations and statistical data sets. Data collection methods such as direct observation of work areas aim to collect actual data needed for this research. The statistical data set was obtained from the PPIC department. The data source in this research is secondary data, where the data was obtained from data collectors indirectly with the PPIC department. The results of this research indicate that the standards for determining and managing raw material inventories are in accordance with the standards set by the company. The researcher concluded that by using min-max, PT TR can obtain alternative minimum and maximum limit orders according to the budget requirements spent in ordering raw materials, but there are still weaknesses in packaging inventory management activities. Companies such as PT TR must focus more on Products included in group A for the packaging procurement process because this group has a large percentage of monetary value and requires extra supervision. Abstract

The Student Senate of the Faculty of Engineering, Atma Jaya Catholic University is one of the organizations affected by the pandemic, so they carry out semi-manual work processes, meaning that most of the processes are already using digital systems. Activities that are not integrated raises new problems such as non-recorded transactions, inaccurate financial report calculation results, and the length of time needed for treasurers to manage financial administration. Because of these constraints, research was conducted on the design and construction of the SMFT UAJ information system related to the financial administration process. In the process of designing the SMFT UAJ financial administration information system, the System Development Life Cycle Waterfall method was used as a reference for making the system with the help of the Kodular tool in building the entire system using the block coding system and the google sheet database. System testing is carried out in 2 stages, namely system testing and acceptance testing on 4 aspects (learnability, efficiency, memorability, and satisfaction). The test results show that this system is feasible for use by SMFT UAJ with the result of reducing processing time for learnability and memorability tests. The resulting efficiency test was 0.0143/second, and the SUS value was 92.5. Keywords: Financial Information System, Kodular, SMFT UAJ

Abstract

Human resources (HR) work activities are very important for business processes, so human resource factors must be taken into account and paid attention to. This research was conducted at the Engineering Department of PT. Z is responsible for product design and product development. This research aims to measure the workload of Engineering Department employees at PT. Z in order to increase employee productivity. This research uses the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Workload Index (NASA-TLX) method. This method is used to analyze the mental workload felt by Engineering Department employees when carrying out work activities and is expected to improve an existing system to increase work comfort and productivity. Based on the final NASA TLX score for the Engineering Department of PT Z, five employees have a very high level of mental workload, two employees have a high level of mental workload, two employees have a medium level of mental workload, and one employee has a light level of mental workload. Then for the mental workload of PT employees. Z based on the NASA-TLX method obtained an average WWL value of 72.9, which means it is included in the mental load classification, therefore there is a need for work improvement. Abstract

In the increasingly fierce business world competition, marketing products to meet industry needs requires companies to find fast and appropriate strategies. A strategy is needed to be able to overcome competition and seize market share. Therefore, this study aims to identify internal and external factors of the company to find strategies in product development. This research uses quantitative descriptive research methods by describing the situation and explaining the situation based on facts and existing data. SWOT analysis is an analytical method used with external factor analysis methods and internal company factor analysis. The results of the analysis at PT.BM is placing the Strength>Opportunity strategy, Opportunity>Weakness Strategy, Strength>Threat Strategy, and Threat>Weakness Strategy. This condition explains that PT. BM is in a position to utilize the SO strategy which has the highest score value of = 2.31. Furthermore, followed by the strategy ST = 2.31, WO = 1.79, and WT = 1.61 with this analysis, it is expected that the company can continue to improve product quality, develop product innovations with unique designs, it is hoped that the company can add and prepare a professional workforce, improve services, and promotions massively. Abstract

PT BSM is a manufacturing company that has several employees who work with postures that do not meet ergonomic standards. The quality of this work posture is a key factor in assessing the work efficiency of employees at PT BSM. The research aims to assess the level of risk for PT BSM employees based on work posture to support the design of changes that are useful for reducing the risk of injury or employee discomfort. The research method used is the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method to assess the upper body position and posture of workers while working, especially within the ergonomics framework for lathe and Milling machine employees. The research results indicated that both employees had a low level of work posture risk, so it is recommended to evaluate work posture to ensure employee safety and comfort in carrying out their duties. Abstract

PT. OMI is a company that operates in the automotive industry in the Karawang area, the goods it produces are very varied and have quite a lot of customers. To increase customer trust, customer satisfaction is the most important thing, with the aim of knowing the process and quality results of a product by using a p-control chart and knowing the various types of defects that occur in the product. The research uses data collection methods in the form of production data as well as product defect data produced and data processing using p control charts and Minitab software to analyze the causes of types of defects and provide suggestions for companies. The results of production quality control in 2022 samples were obtained CL (Middle limit) is 0.0077%, LCL (Lower limit) is 0.0074% and UCL (Upper limit) is 0.0080%. From the analysis, there are 3 types of defects, namely color defects at 48%, chip defects at 40%, and finally burry defects at 12%. Problems occur due to several causes such as human factors, machines, methods, and materials. To solve these problems, a fishbone diagram was created. Product control at PT OMI is under controlled conditions. Keywords: Control Chart, Defect, Quality
