Abstract

This study aims to test how learning business materials and energy assisted by the integrated flipbook e-module of the Qur'an to improve the spiritual attitude and learning outcomes of students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. This study used a nonequivalent control group design, with a sample of 38 students of class X of MIPA 1 and 38 students of class X of MIPA 2. The instruments used in this study are tests and questionnaires of spiritual attitudes, using measurement techniques and questionnaire filling techniques. Data analysis was carried out to determine the influence of learning business materials and energy assisted by the Qur'an's integrated flipbook e-module on students' spiritual attitudes and learning outcomes. The results of the study showed that there were differences in spiritual attitudes and learning outcomes before and after learning business and energy materials assisted by the Qur'an-integrated flipbook e-module. The average spiritual attitude score of the experimental class before treatment was 37.26 increased to 65.92 after treatment. The average pretest score of 30.52 increased to 73.87 in the posttest. Furthermore, the effect size score of spiritual attitudes is 5.21 and learning outcomes are 1.56 so that learning of business and energy materials assisted by the integrated flipbook e-module of the Qur'an affects the spiritual attitude and learning outcomes of students. Thus, the integrated physics learning of the Qur'an must be applied in learning at school because it can arouse students' enthusiasm in learning.

Abstract

Road congestion along the Cileunyi–Nagreg corridor in West Java intensifies annually during the Eid homecoming period, yet the development of a heliport as an alternative solution remains underexplored. This study examines the urgency of heliport development in Nagreg and calculates the structural dimensions of its concrete slab system, including beam dimensions, slab thickness, and reinforcement requirements. Structural analysis was performed to determine internal forces and load redistribution under dead loads, live loads, and earthquake loads. Beam and slab elements were designed to ensure structural strength and stability, with reinforcement calculated based on the ratio of steel area to concrete area. The beam dimensions were determined as 200/400 mm in the x-direction and 203.75/407.5 mm in the y-direction. The concrete slab thickness was calculated to be 12 cm and reinforced with Ø12 mm bars at 120 mm spacing. Strength verification of the slab confirmed that the nominal moment capacity (Mn = 11.436 kNm) exceeds the required ultimate moment (Mu = 5.529 kNm), thereby confirming structural safety and compliance with applicable standards. The study concludes that heliport construction in Nagreg is technically feasible and structurally viable, offering a strategic alternative to mitigate recurring congestion. These findings provide a foundational technical framework for heliport development in similarly congested corridors. Further research is recommended to assess economic feasibility, environmental impact, and integration with regional transportation master plans.

Abstract

Cesarean Scar Pregnancy (CSP) is a rare but serious form of ectopic pregnancy with an increasing incidence corresponding to rising cesarean delivery rates. It carries significant risks of massive hemorrhage and uterine rupture. This case report presents a 33-year-old woman (G3P2A0H2) at 16–17 weeks of gestation with two prior cesarean sections, who presented with vaginal spotting. Transvaginal ultrasound revealed a 6.08 × 6.03 cm complex mass in the lower uterine segment consistent with CSP. Initial management with a single-dose methotrexate (50 mg/BSA) regimen was unsuccessful, as bleeding persisted and the mass enlarged to 6.9 × 5.9 cm on follow-up ultrasound. Surgical intervention via CSP resection laparotomy with hysterorrhaphy and Pomeroy bilateral tubectomy was subsequently performed, with an estimated blood loss of approximately 800 cc. The patient recovered well postoperatively, and histopathological examination confirmed the presence of trophoblastic tissue. This case underscores the diagnostic challenges and management complexities associated with advanced CSP. Medical therapy with methotrexate may be ineffective in later gestational stages, necessitating timely surgical intervention to prevent life-threatening complications. Counseling on permanent contraception is essential due to the high recurrence risk. This report highlights the importance of early clinical suspicion, accurate imaging, and multidisciplinary management to optimize outcomes for CSP, particularly in patients with multiple prior cesarean deliveries.

Abstract

The 2025 West Sumatra flood and landslide disaster resulted in significant material damage, loss of life, and large-scale displacement. Beyond its humanitarian impact, the disaster also became a dynamic arena of political communication, where the on-site presence of public officials received extensive media exposure. This situation raises critical questions regarding the intersection between genuine crisis management efforts and symbolic image construction in moments of emergency. This study analyzes the political communication strategies of public officials during the 2025 West Sumatra flood and landslide disaster, with particular emphasis on image construction through physical presence at disaster locations. Employing a framing analysis approach, the research examines how verbal statements, visual imagery, and symbolic gestures are constructed and amplified within media coverage and official communication platforms. The data were collected from national news outlets, official government press releases, and social media posts of public officials during the emergency response and early recovery phases. The findings reveal that the officials’ presence at disaster sites functions not only as an administrative indicator of responsiveness but also as a symbolic performance of leadership, empathy, and crisis competence. Visual depictions—such as interacting with victims, inspecting damage, and coordinating with relief teams—serve as strategic communicative acts reinforcing narratives of care and authority. Furthermore, media framing tends to prioritize these symbolic elements over in-depth evaluation of policy effectiveness or disaster management outcomes. This pattern suggests that, in crisis contexts, political communication plays a substantial role in shaping public legitimacy, emotional resonance, and perceptions of governance performance. Ultimately, the study underscores the need to critically assess how symbolic representation can both strengthen public trust and potentially overshadow substantive policy accountability in disaster response settings.

Abstract

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) views its employees as strategic assets, whose well-being directly affects organizational performance. Rising rates of overweight and obesity pose health and productivity challenges, increasing risks of fatigue and chronic disease. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of gamification in improving employee engagement and consistency during the Weight Loss Challenge program at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) DAOP 1 Jakarta. A total of 98 employees with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of ≥30 kg/m² participated in the program over a three-month period. Health indicators were measured using BMI and the percentage of weight loss, while engagement was evaluated through a point system, sharing activities, and webinar participation. Analysis using paired-sample t-tests and cross-tabulation with chi-square tests revealed a significant decrease in average BMI by 1.79 kg/m² and an average weight loss percentage of 6.16%, both statistically significant (p < 0.001). Outcome-oriented and behavior-intensive components, such as weight loss and activity points, showed a very strong relationship with the participants' final scores, while supportive components like sharing activities and webinar participation showed moderate influence. The findings suggest that gamification effectively promotes healthy behavior changes through increased employee engagement and consistency. Programs with measurable, intensive activities boost participation and support sustainable workplace health and productivity.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) faces challenges in adapting to diverse student learning needs, particularly in Quran memorization. Preliminary surveys indicate that 60% of PAI teachers rely on lecture methods, 80% use PowerPoint media, and 52.4% of students report difficulty memorizing Quran verses due to ineffective strategies. This study addresses the gap between conventional teaching approaches and the need for personalized memorization strategies responsive to students’ varied learning styles. Using the Dick and Carey Research and Development (R&D) model, this study develops a differentiated learning product for Quran memorization tailored to visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning preferences. The research was conducted at SMA Labschool Jakarta, involving PAI teachers and Grade XII students through expert validation, one‑to‑one trials, small‑group trials, and field trials. Feasibility testing yielded a score of 3.56 (very practical), and formative evaluation averaged 3.65 (very practical). Effectiveness testing using a paired‑sample t‑test showed a significant increase in memorization scores from pre‑test (mean = 91.60) to post‑test (mean = 95.95) with p < 0.05. The differentiated learning approach, which differentiates content, process, and product, successfully accommodated student diversity and improved memorization outcomes. This research contributes an innovative, evidence‑based strategy for PAI learning that integrates Quran memorization with differentiated instruction principles, offering practical guidance for teachers to address diverse student needs.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the essential issue of low motivation and learning outcomes in Mathematics at the elementary school level, particularly in the Woha District area. This phenomenon requires innovative interventions in the selection of learning models that can create an interactive, collaborative, and enjoyable learning environment for students. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to test the comparative effectiveness between the Group to Group Exchange (GGE) learning model and the Children Learning in Science (CLIS) learning model, integrated with the Jarimatika method as a supporting variable, and to analyze the interaction of these three factors on students’ motivation and mathematics learning outcomes. This quantitative study employed a 2×2 factorial experimental design involving 36 third-grade students from two elementary schools in Woha District. The design compared the GGE and CLIS learning models with students’ initial motivation levels (high/low) as a moderating factor. Data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA, Kruskal–Wallis, and post hoc Tukey tests. The results show a significant difference (p < 0.05) between the two learning models in enhancing students’ motivation and learning outcomes, with the GGE learning model proving to be more effective than CLIS. This research concludes that the combination of cooperative learning models with practical methods such as Jarimatika is an effective strategy to improve the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Maternal and infant mortality rates remain major health challenges in Indonesia, underscoring the need for improved healthcare access and quality. Continuity of Care (CoC) addresses this issue through integrated monitoring from pregnancy to family planning. This qualitative case study applies the CoC approach to provide continuous midwifery care for Mrs. P at Puskesmas Mojogedang I (Mojogedang I Community Health Center). This research aims to explore aspects related to continuous midwifery care for Mrs. P and her baby through midwifery care processes during pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, postpartum, and family planning. The third-trimester visit results showed that Mrs. P had second-degree obesity. During the delivery process, there was a second-degree perineal rupture, and Mrs. P experienced postpartum hemorrhage due to retained placenta fragments. No complications were found in the newborn. The baby, a female, was born on September 21, 2024, at 2:50 PM WIB, with a birth weight of 3,050 grams and a length of 49 cm. Uterine involution during the postpartum period progressed normally, and the mother chose intrauterine contraceptive use with an IUD (Intrauterine Device). The case assessment from pregnancy to delivery showed a correlation between second-degree obesity and the occurrence of postpartum hemorrhage due to retained placenta fragments. No discrepancies were found between theory and practice.

Abstract

Modernization and urbanization have changed the patterns of social relations in society and contributed to the increase in mental health problems, especially in urban Muslim communities. The dominant clinically oriented approach to mental health is considered suboptimal without the integration of social and spiritual dimensions. This research aims to analyze the role of ukhuwah and friendship as spiritual social capital in improving the subjective well-being and mental health of the Muslim community. The method used is an integrative literature review conducted by analyzing reputable scientific publications, global health reports, and classical and contemporary Islamic literature. The results of the study show that ukhuwah strengthens social identity, spiritual solidarity, and a sense of belonging in the community, while communal gathering improves the quality of interpersonal communication and emotional support. Both form a spiritual social capital that contributes significantly to increased life satisfaction, emotional stability, and a reduced risk of mental health disorders. These findings are in line with the Harvard Study of Adult Development, which confirms that the quality of social relationships is a major predictor of long-term happiness and health. This study concludes that strengthening ukhuwah and friendship can serve as a community-based promotive-preventive strategy in the promotion of mental health within the Muslim community.
