Abstract

The institution of zakat is one of the sources and resources that can be used to reduce poverty. Zakat, which is not at all an act of charity or a voluntary act with good intentions on the part of the giver, is an obligation on the person who pays it. It is the right of the people who need it. By giving zakat, a Muslim and Muslim woman means cleaning up their income and wealth. When the poor take it, they know that they bear no obligation to the giver. The aims and objectives of this research are to provide benefits both theoretically and practically theoretically, namely to enrich and develop the study of legal science in general and especially in Islamic science. Providing references for further researchers and additional library materials for anyone who needs them. Meanwhile, in practical terms, this is to be able to increase knowledge as well as one of the requirements for passing Master's studies and getting an MH degree. And it is hoped that they will be able to understand the legal position of online zakat from a fiqhi perspective. The results of this research show that Zakat is an obligatory worship for Muslims who have assets that meet the mandatory zakat requirements. If the management of zakat payments is carried out optimally, it can become a social instrument to overcome the problem of poverty and unequal income distribution in Indonesia. This means that zakat has a very fundamental meaning. Apart from being closely related to the divine aspect.

Abstract

This research aims to delve into the role of environmental accounting as a driver of corporate sustainability using a qualitative approach and literature review method. Secondary data is derived from relevant studies, and data analysis employs the literature review prism with filtering based on title, feasibility, and inclusion criteria. Findings indicate that green innovation influences environmental management accounting (EMA), subsequently affecting corporate value. The study also highlights the positive impact of using green accounting in incorporating environmental costs into the financial results of company operations. Furthermore, the relationship between coercive pressure and EMA adoption varies based on firm size, and environmental information disclosure has a direct positive impact on corporate financial performance. Implications of the research encompass both practical and conceptual recommendations. Practically, companies can leverage green innovation to reinforce environmental accounting and enhance corporate value. Additionally, understanding that firm size moderates the relationship between coercive pressure and EMA adoption can assist companies in tailoring their strategies to specific contexts. Conceptually, the study contributes to environmental accounting literature by affirming that the integration of green accounting can improve corporate financial performance.

Abstract

The research delves into the A’matoang customary tradition within marriage from the perspective of Islamic law. Conducted as a field study, it directly engages with subjects to gather pertinent data. Employing a juridical-empirical approach, the study incorporates data collection methods such as observation, interviews, documentation, and subject-object identification. In accordance with the Urf theory (Customary Tradition) in Islamic Law, the A’matoang tradition in marriage has long prevailed in the Jeneponto region. This tradition involves the bride's family visiting the groom's family, presenting various gifts as expressions of gratitude or reciprocation for the dowry given. From the Islamic legal standpoint, A’matoang is deemed an Urf or customary tradition consistently practiced. The Islamic legal perspective emphasizes that this tradition is an established Urf or customary practice, considered valid as it aligns with Islamic teachings and avoids elements of polytheism. The implications of this research underline the importance of preserving the A’matoang Tradition while prioritizing well-being and adherence to Islamic teachings. If this cultural practice potentially brings significant harm to its participants, abandonment is deemed advisable. Ideally, the post-marriage A’matoang Tradition should not merely signify respect or a gift to the groom's family in response to the dowry, but also serve as a prayer for Allah’s blessings in fostering a harmonious marital life (sakinah, mawadah, warahmah).
