Komunika Journal of Communication Science and Islamic Dakwah is a media scientific publication that contains articles in the field of communication and the scope of Islamic Dawah. Komunika journal is dedicated to foster the creation and exchange of ideas between academia or research, faculty and university. Articles published in the journal put forward an objective analysis of the case of communication or propaganda of Islam in the perspective of the Academy include the results of research in the field of communication and propagation of Islam, a review of the concept of communication and propagation of Islam and the implementation of the study of literature.

Abstract

Wacana Dajjal merupakan salah satu pembahasan yang masih menjadi bahan pertikaian di kalangan ulama muslim sejak zaman dahulu hingga sekarang. Perbedaan pendapat mereka terletak pada pemahaman tentang eksistensi Dajjal. Sebagian ulama muslim memahami kata dajjal secara tekstual dan sebagian lagi memahaminya dengan metode takwil. Penulis merumuskan masalah dalam penelitian ini menjadi tiga rumusan masalah, yaitu meliputi analisis tentang siapakah Dajjal berdasarkan hadits Shahih Bukhari dan Shahih Muslim, bagaimana ciri-cirinya dan apa saja fitnah yang ditimbulkannya. Apa saja yang akan dilakukan Dajjal setelah kemunculannya menjelang hari kiamat. Penelitian ini menggunakan sumber sekunder yang menitikberatkan pada penelitian kepustakaan. Sumber data diperoleh dari hadits yang bersumber dari kitab Shahih Hain. Dalam kajian ini, penulis juga mengambil data dari analisis-analisis yang relevan dengan kajian yang dibahas, antara lain kitab Fathu al-Bari, Syarah Sahih Bukhari, ‘Aunu al-Ma’bud, Syarah Sunan Abi Daud, dan al-Minhaj fi Syarhi Sahihi Muslim. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Dajjal merupakan salah satu tokoh manusia dari keturunan Adam yang akan muncul pada akhir zaman. Pemahaman yang mengatakan Dajjal merupakan simbol yang menunjukkan keadaan penuh kezaliman, amanah yang tidak terjaga dan do’a yang tidak terurus merupakan pemahaman yang keliru dan bertentangan dengan pemahaman Ahlussunnah. (2) Dajjal memiliki banyak ciri fisik, di antaranya adalah matanya cacat, rambutnya keriting, di keningnya tertulis ka fara, badannya besar dan warna kulitnya kemerahan. (3) Dajjal merupakan fitnah terbesar yang pernah ada di muka bumi ini. Kejahatan yang dilakukan oleh Dajjal adalah menyebarkan tipu daya dan kebohongan pada saat kemunculannya. Dia akan menjanjikan kebahagiaan bagi para pengikutnya dan kesengsaraan bagi mereka yang menolak seruannya.

Abstract

The research on the perception of students of Islamic Broadcasting Communication (KPI) at Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor (UIKA) towards the design of visual communication on the @himakpi_uika account is a study aimed at determining how students evaluate and respond to a visual design object in communication. This research is very important for design professionals, as it helps them understand how their visual design is accepted by the audience. The method used in this research is qualitative, with the researcher using a field study approach combined with data reduction techniques to analyze and interpret the collected information. The results of the research conducted showed that KPI students have a positive perception of the @himakpi_uika Instagram account. They consider the design of the account to clearly distinguish between the Himpunan Mahasiswa (Hima) KPI Instagram account and other study programs at UIKA and to demonstrate professionalism. In addition, they also consider the account capable of contributing and being a trustworthy and useful source of information. Students particularly appreciate the way the design reflects the identity and values of the Hima KPI program, as it provides both aesthetic appeal and functional communication. Each student has a different reason for following the account, such as seeking information, evaluating designs that are attractive and creative, and wanting to know the activities and values of da'wah contained in the account. The study further reveals how students perceive the role of visual design in reinforcing the image of the institution, influencing student engagement, and promoting relevant content effectively.

Abstract

The novel is a source of learning in the form of print media. This phenomenon has become a trend for women in general in this era of problems with Muslim women's groups, giving rise to a negative impression of people's views on social life, where women compete in world affairs in such a way that they forget about the afterlife in order to appear in world affairs in such a way that they forget about the afterlife in order to appear fashionable. This study aims to find out that Islamic life can be exemplified by a true story, namely the novel 'Bidadari Bumi 9 Stories of Salehah Women' written by Halimah Alaydrus. Researchers used a qualitative approach to the type of library research (library research). Data collection instrument using the documentation method. While data analysis using techniques content analysis (content analysis). Based on the results of the study, the values of the moral message of Islamic education contained in the book are divided into three, namely: (1) the values of aqidah: belief in Allah, His angels, His Book, His Apostles, the Day of Judgment and Square Good and Bad Fate; (2) the values of worship, mahdhah worship: prayer worship, hajj worship, and seeking knowledge, and mahdhah passion:stay in touch, giving charity, and visiting the sick; and (3) moral values: morals towards Godhow much monotheism of God, piety, prayer, dhikrullah, tawakkal and repentance, morals towards others: ta'awun (help each other), forgiveness, and testament in the truth, and morals towards oneself: patience, gratitude, tawadhu', trust or honest, and syaja'ah (dare to tell the truth).

Abstract

Doing da'wah amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar is a noble thing. Therefore, this da'wah is meaningful in the sight of Allah. In addition, da'wah is also the subject of religion, so it is important to do it. Da'wah amar ma'ruf nahi munkar must be done with full readiness. And in the process, the method used must be really structured, because the purpose of this da'wah is to prevent disobedience and evil, eradicate crime, and invite others to return to the way of Allah. The problem studied in this study focuses on the communication pattern of Imam Al-Ghazali's da'wah which is based on three legal sources, namely the Qur'an, Hadith, and Atsar. The goal is to analyze in depth how the stages that can be used in da'wah amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. This research is a qualitative methodological research using library research and observation. The results of the qualitative research show that the communication pattern of Imam Al-Ghazali's da'wah is explained in the discussion of the ihtisab method. Ihtisab is a method of proselytizing amar ma'ruf nahi munkar in which there are ten themes of stages, namely ta'arruf, ta'rif, prohibition, rebuke, preventing by hand, tahdid & takhwif, preventing with limbs or objects, war. The ten themes must be carried out in a coherent manner so that the results are maximized and do not cause chaos afterward. In writing, the researcher realizes that there are still shortcomings in the solution. Therefore, this research is expected to be a basic reference for a deterrent to evil and can be continuously updated by further researchers. This is so that Imam Al-Ghazali's method of da'wah is not forgotten even though it is consumed by the times. And with the renewal, Imam Al-Ghazali's da'wah method can still be used even though the times have changed.

Abstract

K-pop culture cannot be underestimated because it has managed to attract the attention of many K- Popers through music videos and boy groups made in South Korea. But unfortunately, there are not a few adult scenes contained in K-Pop culture that are shown continuously so that it becomes commonplace among K-Popers, especially from the NCTZEN fandom or NCT boy group fans. One of them is boy love boy (BxB) homosexual content on TikTok media which features romantic relationships between male idols and other male idols. BxB homosexual content gets a lot of support from fans. This is considered worrying, considering that homosexual content itself is a part of lesbian, gay, biseksual, transgender (LGBT) and the current rampant efforts to normalize LGBT. Therefore this study aims: 1. To find out how boy loves boy homosexual content forms on TikTok, 2. To know why K-Popers like boy love boy homosexual content, 3. To know how homosexual content can be a trigger for normalization. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results of the study show that: 1. The form of boy love boy homosexual content on TikTok is like the excited moments of NCT members, concert fan-cams, edited videos with additional romantic back sounds and captions, member interactions such as stares and hugs, 2. Reasons for K- Popers like boy love boy homosexual content because of bias, feeling excited, and an alternative to healing mental illness, 3.Boy love boy homosexual content triggers the normalization of LGBT because it is watched continuously.

Abstract

Verbal communication is determined as speak or oral or writing which are manifestations of language as a medium of message exchange. Early children in the growth and development of physical (fine and gross motoric coordination), intelligence (mind, creative, emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence), socio-emotional (attitude and behavior and religion), language and communication, and with uniqueness and stages -stage of development through by early children. This research uses a qualitative approach, related to social facts in the community, data collection techniques through interview and observation and documentation. The results of the learning while playing method are the same, teachers deliver the material with accompanyed games such as singing, applauding, or in other games. Messages delivered are also verbal and nonverbal and will get immediate response or feedback, so the teacher will immediately receive response. The using method is also like that, the teacher delivers verbal and nonverbal messages, with language and signs, the difference of these signs are in the form of examples or examples by the teacher and student responses get immediately.

Abstract

Da'wah as a public speaking activity always requires digitalization. Today's developments which lead society to grow together with advances in technology and information require massive digitalization of information in an effort to convey messages well. Digitizing da'wah messages is one form of effort to maintain da'wah in people's lives, especially in the digital era. Felix Siauw, as a well-known digital preacher with 5.3 million followers on his Instagram social media account, is able to influence society regarding the idea of "hijrah" or changing to a better Muslim personality. This research was carried out using a qualitative-descriptive methodby using a content analysis table for audio-visual preaching and library sources as a medium for describing research objects; Felix Siauw's digital preaching. Digital literature sources were also used in an effort to find ideas, thoughts and opinions in this research. The results of this research show that there are 9 da'wah topics that Felix Siauw often uses in carrying out digital da'wah, namely; Thought, Islamic Morals, Worship, Hijrah, Islamic History, Politics, Marriage, Youth, Faith Motivation. The da'wah topics raised by Felix Siauw are presented in 4 various forms of digital media output, namely; images with captions, animated videos and audio, illustrated videos and audio, and video recordings of preaching messages. In all forms of digital da'wah that have been produced on Instagram, Felix Siauw uses 4 types of approaches; delivery of advice and stories of experiences, only delivery of advice, delivery of advice and discussion, and only discussion.

Abstract

The integration of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) concepts across various academic fields has attracted significant scholarly attention, particularly regarding its application in the realm of Islamic communication. This conceptual paper explores the potential of STEM as a framework for advancing communication strategies within Islamic contexts. It begins by defining Islamic communication, which involves the dissemination of Islamic values and teachings through diverse communication mediums. The paper then investigates how the interdisciplinary nature of STEM emphasizing problem-solving, innovation, and technology can enhance and refine communication practices within the Islamic world. Drawing from existing literature in both Islamic studies and STEM education, this paper examines how STEM principles can provide novel perspectives for improving the effectiveness of Islamic messaging, addressing contemporary challenges in media, and fostering digital literacy among Muslim communities. Furthermore, the paper explores the role of STEM in the development of innovative communication tools and platforms that align with Islamic ethical values while engaging effectively with modern audiences. Through a conceptual framework, this research aims to propose pathways for integrating STEM into Islamic communication practices, suggesting strategies to expand the reach and impact of Islamic messages in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. The paper concludes by identifying potential directions for future research, particularly in exploring the practical applications of STEM in Islamic communication, and its implications for Islamic scholars and communication professionals.
