Abstract

HIV/AIDS serta Hepatitis B dan C merupakan penyakit menular yang hingga saat ini masih menjadi permasalahan serius dalam kesehatan masyarakat, mengingat tingginya beban morbiditas dan mortalitas serta kesamaan jalur penularannya. Di Provinsi Jawa Tengah, jumlah kasus kedua penyakit ini tergolong signifikan dengan pola sebaran yang tidak merata antar kabupaten/kota, sehingga memerlukan pendekatan analisis yang mampu menangkap variasi spasial dan temporal secara simultan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola risiko HIV/AIDS dan Hepatitis B & C menggunakan Bayesian Multivariate Spatio-Temporal Model dengan pendekatan Integrated Nested Laplace Approximation (INLA). Data yang digunakan bersumber dari BPJS Kesehatan periode 2019–2023 yang mencakup 35 kabupaten/kota di Jawa Tengah. Hasil evaluasi model menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi prior spasial pCAR, prior temporal RW1, serta interaksi spasio-temporal Type I memberikan kinerja terbaik, ditunjukkan oleh nilai DIC sebesar 4007,37, WAIC sebesar 3925,16, dan Log Score sebesar 11113,66. Analisis korelasi mengindikasikan adanya hubungan spasial positif yang cukup kuat antara HIV/AIDS dan Hepatitis B & C, yang menunjukkan kecenderungan wilayah berisiko tinggi pada satu penyakit juga berisiko tinggi pada penyakit lainnya. Sebaliknya, korelasi temporal teridentifikasi lemah dan tidak konsisten, mencerminkan perbedaan dinamika waktu kedua penyakit. Pemetaan risiko relatif mengungkap klaster wilayah berisiko tinggi yang berulang pada beberapa kabupaten/kota tertentu. Temuan ini menegaskan efektivitas pendekatan Bayesian multivariat sebagai dasar perumusan kebijakan intervensi kesehatan berbasis wilayah.

Abstract

Pengaruh kemampuan berfikir kritis merupakan salah satu penyebab pemecahan masalah siswa rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berfikir kritis siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika Siswa Kelas VIII SMPN 1 Labuapi Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Labuapi tahun pelajaran 2024/2025 sebanyak 174 siswa. Adapun sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 44 siswa yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa berdasarkan indikator interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi dan kesimpulan. Tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa pada materi berdomain SPLDV berupa soal uraian berdasarkan tahapan polya memahami masalah, Menyusun rencana, melaksanakan rencana dan memeriksa kembali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Labuapi tahun pelajaran 2024/2025 dengan kontribusi sebesar 82,2%.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine differences in mathematical representation ability between students taught using the Think Talk Write (TTW) cooperative model and those taught using the direct learning model, as well as to determine the effect of the TTW model on ninth-grade students at SMPN 16 Mataram in the 2025/2026 academic year. The research used a quasi-experimental method with a posttest-only control group design. The population consisted of all ninth-grade students at SMPN 16 Mataram. Samples were selected using cluster random sampling: class IX C as the experimental class (TTW model) and class IX A as the control class (direct learning model). Research instruments included teaching modules, observation sheets, and tests of mathematical representation ability. The t-test results showed a difference in the average mathematical representation ability between the two classes. The experimental class obtained a higher average score (71) than the control class (58.1). The effect size analysis indicated that the effect was in the moderate category. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a difference in mathematical representation ability between the two groups, and the application of the TTW cooperative model has a moderate effect on the mathematical representation ability of ninth-grade students at SMPN 16 Mataram.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ numeracy skills in solving contextual problems on algebraic expressions based on their logical-mathematical intelligence. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with subjects consisting of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Mataram in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through a logical-mathematical intelligence test, a numeracy test consisting of two contextual essay questions, and in-depth interviews. The results show that students with high logical-mathematical intelligence demonstrate high numeracy skills, as indicated by their ability to use mathematical symbols and numbers accurately, analyze data in various forms, and draw logical conclusions. Students with moderate logical-mathematical intelligence have moderate numeracy skills—they can identify numerical information but still make calculation and interpretation errors. Meanwhile, students with low logical-mathematical intelligence show low numeracy skills, characterized by difficulties in understanding data, performing arithmetic operations, and interpreting results. These findings indicate a strong relationship between students’ logical-mathematical intelligence levels and their numeracy abilities in solving contextual problems involving algebraic expressions.

Abstract

Population growth is a crucial factor in urban development planning. Surakarta City, as a rapidly developing city in Central Java Province, has experienced a continuous increase in population over time, making accurate population growth modeling essential. This study aims to model the population growth of Surakarta City using exponential, hyperbolic, and logistic models and to identify the best model based on prediction accuracy. The data used in this study are secondary population data of Surakarta City for the period 2017–2025 obtained from official publications of Badan Pusat Statistik. The parameters of each model are determined using the initial and final data of the observation period. Model performance is evaluated using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) to measure prediction errors. The results indicate that all three models adequately represent the population growth pattern of Surakarta City. The exponential model produces a MAPE value of 0.1632%, the hyperbolic model 0.1653%, and the logistic model 0.1664%. Based on these results, the exponential model is identified as the best model due to its lowest prediction error. Using the exponential model, the population of Surakarta City in 2026 is projected to reach 530,723 people. These findings are expected to support urban development planning and population policy decision-making.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of student learning activities through Quizizz-based Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning on mathematical problem-solving abilities. The background of this study is based on the low mathematical problem-solving abilities caused by students' learning activities that have not been optimally facilitated. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational non-experimental design. The research subjects consisted of 32 ninth-grade students of SMP NU Al Ma'ruf Kudus. The research instruments used were a student learning activity questionnaire and a mathematical problem-solving ability test. The data were analyzed using a simple linear regression test. The results of the regression test showed that students' learning activities significantly influenced their mathematical problem-solving abilities. The average post-test score of students was 83.2031 and was included in the high category, while the questionnaire results showed that students' learning activities were in the active category. These findings indicate that Quizizz-based CPS learning has a positive effect on improving mathematical problem-solving abilities because it creates interactive learning and encourages active student involvement. Based on these findings, Quizizz-based CPS learning is recommended to be implemented as an alternative mathematics learning to improve students' learning activities and mathematical problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

Abstract Mathematical problem-solving skills are essential for junior high school students, especially in solving algebra story problems that require contextual understanding, problem modeling, and logical reasoning. This study aims to analyze the impact of self-confidence on junior high school students' ability to solve algebra story problems. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with three seventh-grade students from SMP Negeri 25 Kota Bekasi, selected based on their self-confidence levels: high, medium, and low. Data were collected through a self-confidence questionnaire, algebra story problem tests, and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was done using source triangulation. The results show that students with high self-confidence are more consistent in understanding and solving problems, while students with low self-confidence struggle at the initial stage of problem understanding. These findings highlight the important role of self-confidence in mathematical problem-solving. The study provides new insights into the relationship between self-confidence and error patterns in solving algebra story problems. Keywords: Problem Solving; Story Problems; Algebra Material for Junior High School Abstrak Kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematis sangat penting bagi siswa SMP, terutama dalam soal cerita aljabar yang memerlukan pemahaman konteks, pemodelan masalah, dan penalaran logis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kepercayaan diri terhadap kemampuan siswa SMP dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita aljabar. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek tiga siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 25 Kota Bekasi, yang dipilih berdasarkan tingkat kepercayaan diri: tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket kepercayaan diri, tes soal cerita aljabar, dan wawancara semi terstruktur. Analisis data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kepercayaan diri tinggi lebih konsisten dalam memahami dan memecahkan masalah, sementara siswa dengan kepercayaan diri rendah kesulitan pada tahap awal pemahaman masalah. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan diri berperan penting dalam pemecahan masalah matematis. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan baru tentang hubungan kepercayaan diri dengan pola kesalahan dalam pemecahan soal cerita aljabar. Kata Kunci: Pemecahan Masalah; Soal Cerita; Materi Aljabar SMP

Abstract

Queueing systems play an important role in operational management, particularly in healthcare services. Inefficient queue management can reduce service quality and patient satisfaction. This study aims to model the outpatient queueing system at Menur Mental Hospital, Surabaya, using a Timed Petri Net approach combined with Max-Plus Algebra. The data were obtained through a literature review and an interview with one outpatient clinic nurse at Menur Mental Hospital conducted in June 2025, which provided information on the stages of service and the average duration of each service process for BPJS outpatient patients. The Petri Net model represents the service flow graphically, while the Max-Plus Algebra formulation expresses the system dynamics in a recursive form. The resulting Max-Plus matrix describes the time dependency structure among service stages. Based on the transition duration analysis, the critical path of the system is identified in the polyclinic and pharmacy services with a total service time of 56 minutes, indicating these stages as potential bottlenecks. The proposed model provides a mathematical framework to evaluate system performance and support decision-making in improving the operational efficiency of outpatient services.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS masih menjadi tantangan kesehatan global, termasuk di Indonesia, dengan capaian target Triple 95 yang belum optimal. Kombinasi Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) dan terapi antiretroviral (ARV) merupakan strategi penting dalam upaya eliminasi HIV pada tahun 2030. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menganalisis model matematika deterministik penularan HIV/AIDS dengan intervensi PrEP dan ARV. Model yang diusulkan memodifikasi kerangka sebelumnya melalui penambahan kompartemen laten serta penyederhanaan beberapa kelas infeksi aktif menjadi satu kelas infeksi, sehingga struktur model lebih ringkas namun tetap merepresentasikan dinamika biologis penyakit. Analisis dilakukan melalui penentuan titik kesetimbangan, perhitungan bilangan reproduksi dasar menggunakan metode next generation matrix, serta analisis kestabilan lokal menggunakan kriteria Routh-Hurwitz. Simulasi numerik dilakukan menggunakan Maple dan Google Colab untuk menggambarkan dinamika sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketika titik kesetimbangan bebas penyakit stabil asimtotik sehingga infeksi cenderung punah, sedangkan ketika sistem bergerak menuju keadaan endemik. Model menunjukkan bahwa penurunan laju transmisi efektif dalam populasi mampu menekan nilai hingga di bawah satu sehingga penyebaran HIV dapat dikendalikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep diri siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Buer tahun ajaran 2025/2026, prestasi belajar siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Buer tahun ajaran 2025/2026, serta pengaruh konsep diri terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Buer tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dan ex post facto. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Buer semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2025/2026 sebanyak 56 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik sampling jenuh, sehingga seluruh populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket konsep diri dan tes prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa secara umum berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana diperoleh persamaan regresi Y=2,406+1,115X. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan kontribusi sebesar 62,8%. Dengan demikian, peningkatan konsep diri dapat menjadi startegi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika.
