Abstract

Abstract. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pengelolaan dan pelaporan keuangan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) di Desa Palakka, Kecamatan Maiwa, Kabupaten Enrekang. Melalui pendekatan pendampingan partisipatif, kegiatan dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap: identifikasi masalah, pelatihan teknis akuntansi, asistensi penyusunan laporan keuangan berbasis SAK ETAP, serta monitoring dan evaluasi berkala. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan pengelola BUMDes dalam menyusun laporan keuangan secara akuntabel dan sistematis. BUMDes yang sebelumnya bergerak di sektor penggemukan sapi mengalami kerugian akibat tingginya angka kematian ternak, sehingga bertransformasi menjadi unit usaha Kredit Simpan Pinjam (KSP) yang dinilai lebih adaptif terhadap kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Transformasi ini menegaskan pentingnya tata kelola yang baik, partisipasi masyarakat, dan adaptasi terhadap risiko usaha dalam menjamin keberlanjutan BUMDes. Dengan dukungan dokumentasi keuangan yang baik dan strategi usaha yang relevan, BUMDes Desa Palakka menunjukkan potensi sebagai penggerak ekonomi desa yang berdaya saing dan berkelanjutan. Model pendampingan ini diharapkan dapat direplikasi di desa-desa lain dengan kondisi serupa. Abstract. This community service activity aims to enhance the management and financial reporting capacity of the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in Palakka Village, Maiwa District, Enrekang Regency. Through a participatory mentoring approach, the program was conducted in several stages: problem identification, technical accounting training, assistance in preparing financial reports based on SAK ETAP, and regular monitoring and evaluation. The results showed a significant improvement in the ability of BUMDes managers to prepare financial reports in an accountable and systematic manner. Initially operating in the cattle fattening sector, the BUMDes experienced losses due to high livestock mortality rates, which led to a transformation into a Savings and Loan (KSP) business unit, considered more adaptive to the community’s socio-economic conditions. This transformation highlights the importance of good governance, community participation, and risk adaptation in ensuring the sustainability of BUMDes. With strong financial documentation and relevant business strategies, the Palakka Village BUMDes demonstrates potential as a competitive and sustainable driver of the village economy. This mentoring model is expected to be replicated in other villages with similar conditions.

Abstract

Agricultural and livestock waste can serve as a source of raw materials for organic fertilizer. This waste is highly potential due to its abundant availability, yet its utilization has not been optimized to support community needs. Therefore, a community empowerment program was implemented through the production of organic fertilizer from agricultural and livestock waste. The objective of this program is to process waste into organic fertilizer to improve community welfare in Parigi Village, Takalalla Sub-district, Wajo Regency. The approach used included program socialization, counseling, theoretical and practical training, as well as assistance in the production of organic fertilizer from waste. The results of the program showed that participants demonstrated good social skills and cooperation in completing tasks. Even outside of the training sessions, their social skills were evident. The organic fertilizer produced through waste fermentation proved useful in addressing fertilizer shortages and in restoring soil fertility and environmental health. Furthermore, the counseling and training activities ran smoothly and were beneficial in fostering independence in organic fertilizer production based on agricultural and livestock waste, while also significantly increasing participants’ knowledge. Before the training, the average knowledge score was 28.75% (pre-test), and after the training it increased to 87.75% (post-test). Ongoing assistance is still needed to ensure the sustainability of the program in the future.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of residents in Data Village, Pinrang Regency, in utilizing banana peels as value-added food products in the form of jam. The program is expected to support the empowerment of the local creative economy through food diversification while reducing unutilized organic waste. The implementation method included several stages, namely socialization, counseling, demonstration of banana peel jam processing, and direct practice assistance for participants. The analysis technique applied was descriptive qualitative, carried out through observation, interviews, and evaluation of community participation during the activity. The results of the program indicated an increase in participants’ understanding of the entire processing procedure, starting from raw material preparation, cooking techniques, product packaging, up to basic marketing strategies. Participants were also able to produce banana peel jam with acceptable organoleptic quality and good consumer feasibility. The conclusion of this activity is that training in processing banana peels into jam can improve community skills, create new business opportunities, and contribute positively to household income. Therefore, this program has proven effective in promoting community empowerment through the creative and sustainable use of local resources.

Abstract

The community service activity in Mallawa Village, Barru Regency, aims to educate the public about the importance of applying the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The activity implementation method is carried out thru the stages of preparation, activity implementation consisting of education/socialization and training or direct practice in making fish floss, packaging, and evaluating the results of the activity by distributing feedback questionnaires. The activities carried out to achieve the objectives are: 1) education on good food processing methods (handling); 2) accounting, namely determining the cost of processed fish products; 3) marketing regarding marketing strategies for processed fish products; 4) minimizing waste, which involves processing fish waste into liquid organic fertilizer. The product resulting from hands-on practice is fish floss. The evaluation results of the feedback questionnaire showed that out of 35 participants, 80 percent were satisfied with the education and training provided. The results of the mentoring provided showed that some participant members had attempted to produce fish floss and package several types of anchovies. Packaging is not only done for processed fish products but also for other products that are characteristic of the partner location, such as turmeric powder, banana chips, and mango sour. The conclusion of this activity is that educational, practical, and participatory methods are used to achieve the goals, including processing fish into value-added products, with GMP principles applied throughout the activity. Of course, nature optimizes direct practices by the community, and the role, support, and guidance of the government and relevant agencies are still highly anticipated.

Abstract

The Digital Literacy Action Program Based on a Website in Wasuemba Tourism Village, Buton Regency, is a community empowerment initiative to address limited digital literacy and underdeveloped tourism promotion. Despite being listed in the Top 100 ADWI 2024, marine, cultural, and local product potentials have not significantly improved community welfare due to inadequate internet infrastructure, low digital skills, and reliance on simple social media content. This program, implemented by Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton with Pokdarwis Lahonduru, involved socialization, management training, the development of an official village website (https://wasuemba-desa.id), Starlink internet installation, and digital content workshops. Results indicate improved digital literacy, with participants’ understanding rising from 38% (pre-test) to 60% highly proficient (post-test). Academically, the program contributes a community-based digital literacy model for tourism village development. Socio-economically, it fosters community participation, broadens promotion, increases tourist visits, and creates new entrepreneurial opportunities. Hence, the program emphasizes the importance of integrating digital literacy, infrastructure, and community participation to enhance rural tourism competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (PKM) in Wattang Soreang Village, Parepare City, was implemented to address coastal pollution caused by the accumulation of household waste, market waste, and fishing activities. The main objective of this activity was to increase community awareness, skills, and independence in managing waste through a participatory, collaborative, and educational approach. The methods included socialization, counseling, sorting training, the use of shredding machines, and the production of compost and liquid fertilizer through modified fermentation tanks. The results of the activity showed an increase in community capacity, as evidenced by the ability to sort waste, the active involvement of partners, and the production of community-based environmentally friendly processed products.

Abstract

Abstract. This community service activity aimed to enhance the independence and production capacity of small-scale fried shallot enterprises in Patoloan Village through the application of appropriate technology based on a zero-waste concept. The program was conducted over six days using a participatory approach involving training, mentoring, and direct evaluation of the production process. The technologies applied included peeling, slicing, oil-spinning, and sealing machines to improve product quality and production efficiency. The results showed significant improvements in processing speed, reduced oil content in the final product, and more hygienic and attractive packaging. In addition, onion skin waste was utilized as a natural pesticide in line with the zero-waste principle. The application of these technologies successfully improved product quality, efficiency, and competitiveness while empowering the local economy in Patoloan Village. Abstrak. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian dan kapasitas produksi UMKM pengolah bawang goreng di Desa Patoloan melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna berbasis konsep zero waste. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan selama enam hari dengan metode partisipatif yang melibatkan pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi langsung pada proses produksi. Teknologi yang diterapkan meliputi mesin pengupas, perajang, peniris minyak, dan sealer untuk memperbaiki kualitas produk serta efisiensi waktu kerja. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kecepatan produksi, penurunan kadar minyak pada bawang goreng, dan tampilan kemasan yang lebih menarik serta higienis. Selain itu, limbah kulit bawang dimanfaatkan menjadi pestisida nabati sebagai bentuk penerapan konsep zero waste. Penerapan teknologi ini terbukti meningkatkan mutu, efisiensi, dan daya saing produk UMKM, sekaligus memberikan dampak pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat di wilayah Patoloan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi efektif pemuda di Desa Baluase, Kecamatan Dolo Selatan, Kabupaten Sigi, khususnya anggota Komunitas Palindo Official. Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi kegiatan ini adalah keterbatasan kemampuan komunikasi pemuda dalam menyampaikan aspirasi kepada pemerintah maupun masyarakat. Kondisi ini menghambat kontribusi pemuda dalam menyuarakan isu-isu sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya yang berkembang di desa. Urgensi kegiatan ini memperkuat kapasitas pemuda sebagai agen perubahan sosial melalui penguasaan keterampilan komunikasi yang efektif. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari pelatihan, diskusi, bimbingan, dan evaluasi, Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan komunikasi pemuda. Hasil penilaian terhadap kemampuan menguasai prinsip 7C sebelum pelatihan yaitu sebagian besar peserta masih berada pada kategori Cukup, yang menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan aspek penilaian belum optimal. Hanya 20% yang masuk kategori Baik, sementara kategori rendah (Kurang dan Sangat Kurang) masih cukup signifikan (20%). Sedangkan penilian pada kemampuan peserta setelah pelatihan yaitu menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan dengan capaian pada kategori Baik (53,3%) dan Sangat Baik (33,3%). Hanya sebagian kecil yang berada pada kategori Cukup (13,3%), sementara kategori rendah (Kurang dan Sangat Kurang) tidak muncul sama sekali. Dampak dari kegiatan ini adalah terbangunnya sinergi antara pemuda, masyarakat, dan pemerintah dalam mendorong pembangunan desa yang lebih inklusif dan partisipatif.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Wiringtasi, Kecamatan Suppa, Kabupaten Pinrang, dengan tujuan meningkatkan kapasitas dan kemandirian kelompok pembudidaya “Sejahtera Bersama” melalui penerapan sistem Pentokolan dan inovasi teknologi Baby Box. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan secara partisipatif meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, pembuatan alat, penerapan di tambak, serta evaluasi hasil. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan teknis dan manajerial mitra dalam pengelolaan kualitas udara, efisiensi penggunaan lahan, serta pengendalian mortalitas benur udang windu. Inovasi Baby Box terbukti meningkatkan tingkat kelangsungan hidup benih hingga lebih dari 80% dan memperkuat efisiensi sistem budidaya. Selain manfaat teknis, kegiatan ini juga memperkuat kelompok kelembagaan serta menumbuhkan kesadaran akan pentingnya penerapan teknologi ramah lingkungan. Secara keseluruhan, program ini berhasil mentransformasi praktik budidaya tradisional menuju sistem modern yang efisien, produktif, dan berkelanjutan, serta dapat direplikasi pada kawasan pesisir lain di Sulawesi Selatan.

Abstract

Abstract. Technological advancement requires teachers to possess digital literacy skills as an integral component of their professional competence. Observations indicated that teachers at SMP Bahrul Ulum had not yet optimized the use of interactive digital media for teaching and assessment. This community service program aimed to enhance teachers’ competencies through training and mentoring on the use of interactive digital media via platforms such as Google Sites, Google Forms, Flip, and AI tools. The implementation method was carried out in several stages, including socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation. The results demonstrated that teachers successfully utilized Google Sites and Google Forms for developing interactive assessments, Flip for creating digital books and worksheets, and AI as a digital assessment tool. Evaluation data showed high satisfaction levels among participants: 92.91% for overall implementation, 96% for material relevance, 92.95% for trainer competence and methods, and 94.36% for program impact and sustainability. The overall average satisfaction rate reached 94.11%, indicating that the program effectively met teachers’ needs and expectations in promoting digitalization within learning and assessment practices. Abstrak. Perkembangan teknologi menuntut guru memiliki kemampuan literasi digital sebagai bagian dari profesionalisme. Hasil observasi menunjukkan guru SMP Bahrul Ulum belum optimal dalam memanfaatkan media interaktif digital untuk pembelajaran dan asesmen. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan pemanfaatan media interaktif digital melalui platform digital seperti Google Site, Google Form, Flip, dan AI. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan secara bertahap mulai dari sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan hingga evaluasi. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa guru mampu menggunakan google site, google form dalam menyusun soal interaktif, flip untuk buku digital/LKS digital, dan AI sebagai tool asesmen digital. Hasil evaluasi atas tingkat kepuasan guru menunjukkan pelaksanaan kegiatan mencapai 92,91%, materi dan relevansi memperoleh mencapai 96%, kompetensi pemateri dan metode yang digunakan memperoleh capaian 92,95%, dan dampak dan keberlanjutan kegiatan memperoleh capaian 94,36%. Atas capaian tersebut, maka rata-rata tingkat kepuasan mitra terhadap pelaksanaan pengabdian mencapai 94, 11%. Capaian ini memberikan arti bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan guru dan harapan bagi guru untuk mewujudkan penerapan digitalisasi dalam pembelajaran dan asesmennya.
