Abstract

Due to its ability to transfer all actions online, mobile phones have become an essential tool for everyone. More than 2,000 teens access social media via their phones, 92% of the time, according to a 2015 survey. Physical and mental illnesses of teens including obesity, changes in sleep patterns, dangerous lifestyles (drugs and alcohol), and increased stress are some of the main impacts from social media. Therefore, in utilizing social media on a daily basis, time management is very important. Finding the relationship between teenagers' social media use and their physical and mental health was the goal of this study. In this research, researchers used a systematic observation method, where articles were selected using the PRISMA method. The articles used were obtained from online database facilities via the Google Scholar and ScienceDirect pages. The articles obtained were selected based on publications published from 2020 to 2023 (3 years). Of the eight selected articles, the results show that all articles state that there is a relationship between the use of social media and the mental and physical health of teenagers. Therefore, it can be concluded that the better teenagers manage their time in using social media every day, the lower the incidents that affect teenagers' mental and physical health.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the influence of leadership roles on the implementation of application-based technology in increasing employee work effectiveness at the Meninting Community Health Center. Puskesmas (Community Health Center) has a vital role in providing community health services at the primary level. This research uses a survey method with a questionnaire as a data collection instrument and simple linear regression data analysis. The research results show that leadership has a significant influence on the implementation of application-based technology. The coefficient of determination shows that around 49.6% of the variability in the implementation of application-based technology at the Meninting Community Health Center can be explained by leadership variables. These results highlight the important role of leadership in influencing employee work effectiveness through the adoption of application-based technology. Therefore, this research provides strong support for the importance of the role of leadership in increasing employee work effectiveness at the Meninting Community Health Center through the implementation of application-based technology.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to analyze the influence of Human Resources (HR) development, leadership style, and technology on the work effectiveness of employees at the Meninting Community Health Center (Puskesmas). This research uses quantitative methods with an associative (causal) approach to evaluate the relationship and influence of these variables on employee work effectiveness. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that the three variables studied, namely human resource development, leadership style and technology, have a significant influence on the work effectiveness of employees at the Meninting Community Health Center. Human resource development, through training, education and relevant work experience, has a positive impact on employee work effectiveness. An instructional leadership style that includes direction, guidance, knowledge, motivation and support from the head of the Community Health Center also makes a positive contribution to employee work effectiveness. In addition, the use of information technology, such as health information systems, has a significant influence on the work effectiveness of employees at the Meninting Community Health Center. In order to increase employee work effectiveness, this research recommends the importance of developing human resources through training and developing employee skills, implementing an instructional leadership style that provides direction and support, and using appropriate information technology. By paying attention to these factors, the Meninting Community Health Center can effectively improve the quality of health services to the community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether content marketing, brand engagement, and electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) partially and simultaneously influence purchasing decisions on Instagram. This research uses a quantitative method with data collection through observation and questionnaires. The sample size is 100 respondents from Instagram users in Mataram City, using purposive sampling. Data were processed using SPSS 26 with analysis techniques including validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, t-tests (partial), f-tests (simultaneous), determination coefficient tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that content marketing partially influences purchasing decisions on Instagram, brand engagement does not partially influence purchasing decisions, and e-WOM partially influences purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, content marketing, brand engagement, and e-WOM together influence purchasing decisions on Instagram with a significance value smaller than the probability of 0.05 (0.000 > 0.05). The R Square value is 0.372, indicating that 37% of the independent variables explain the dependent variable, while the remaining 63% is influenced by other factors outside the research variables. This study provides insights into the roles of content marketing, brand engagement, and e-WOM in shaping purchasing decisions on Instagram.

Abstract

Cases of dengue fever in Situbondo are very fluctuating and unpredictable. This shows that dengue fever is still a problem that requires serious health attention. The infectious disease dengue fever is caused by the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Fluctuations in dengue fever cases are due to erratic rainfall. Sometimes rainfall is higher and the rainy season is longer. On the other hand, sometimes rainfall is relatively lower and the dry season is longer. This research aims to analyze and visualize data on dengue fever sufferers in Situbondo using the Tableau platform. The data used is map data per region or spatial data that has geographical references and historical data on dengue fever patients in Situbondo from 2016 to 2022. Data was obtained from the website Tanahair.indonesia.go.id and the Situbondo Community Health Center. The research results show that data visualization using Tableau can produce good, effective, interesting and efficient information. The results of data visualization of dengue fever sufferers in Situbondo showed that there were 2 cases of death. Cases of dengue fever sufferers are spread throughout all villages in Situbondo. It is hoped that the results of this research can help in adopting appropriate policies to control dengue fever in Situbondo.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the form of ecranization of the novel into the film Red White & Royal Blue by Casey Mcquiston and director Matthew Lopez. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data sources for this research are the novel Red White & Royal Blue by Casey Mcquiston and the film Red White & Royal Blue by director Matthew Lopez. Data collection techniques are carried out by reading, watching, recording and sorting data. First, the author read the novel Red White & Royal Blue by Casey Mcquiston and then watched the film Red White And Royal Blue by director Matthew Lopez. Second, the author collects data by recording important parts that will be used as data. Third, the author selects parts of novels and films as data for the ecranization process. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there are three aspects of the ecranization process. reduction in characters and plot. Additions occur in the characters and changes in variations can be seen in the characterization. Aspects such as shrinking, adding and changing variations are part of the ecranization process. This is caused by differences in imagination between the director and the novel writer as well as to make parts of the story more efficient due to the length of the film.

Abstract

Culture that exists in every place or region is different from one another. It is this culture that differs from one society to another that is interesting to discuss, where we can take lessons and value tolerance from existing cultural differences. The book Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life in it discusses the culture of the people of Okinawa, which is the area with the most Centenarians or someone who lives for 100 years in the world. What is the secret of the Longevity of the Okinawan people, this research aims to convey information about the description of Okinawan cultural society depicted in the book. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an objective approach. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that there are several Okinawan cultures that are depicted in the book Ikigai: The Secret to a Long and Happy Life, namely; eating culture, community culture, and active living culture. These three cultures are the secret of the Okinawan people's longevity. By looking at the culture of the Okinawan people, we can take examples and apply them in our daily lives to get a much better and healthier life.

Abstract

This research aims to find out (1) whether perceptions influence the decision to use e-money. (2) does consumer trust influence the decision to use e-money? (3) do consumers' perceptions and beliefs have a positive and significant effect on the decision to use e-money at East Masbagik household goods stores. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study are consumers who make transactions at East Masbagik household goods stores and the sample for this study as many as 90 respondents. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire with 24 statements and the research data sources came from interviews and questionnaires. Data testing uses multiple linear regression. The research results show a perception with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a calculated value of 5.045 > from t table 1.987. This shows that the perception variable has a significant influence on the decision to use e-money. The significant value of consumer trust is 0.000 <0.05 and the t-batung value is 8.185. This shows that the consumer trust variable has a significant influence on the decision to use e-money. With the coefficient of determination (R²) obtained at 0.687% and 32% due to other variables. The results of this research indicate that the perception variable X; and consumer trust X: has a positive and significant effect on the decision to use e-money.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the depiction of violence against the main female character in the novel The Girl With The Louding Voice by Abi Dare. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method and uses an objective approach. The data source is the novel The Girl With The Louding Voice by Abi Dare. The data collected in this research is in the form of words or quotations. Data collection techniques include reading, listening and note taking techniques. The listening process is carried out   by reading carefully so that the data needed in the research is found and then the data is recorded. The result of this research are that there is violence against women which is classified into three forms, namely physical violence, verbal violence and sexual violence. The physical violence experienced by the main character includes being hit, slapped and kicked. The verbal violence experienced by the main character is being threatened, shouted and belittled. The sexual violence experienced by the main character is in the form of forced sexual intercourse.

Abstract

Motivation/Background: Good nutritional knowledge is crucial for teenagers to support optimal growth and development. Comprehensive nutrition education is very important for teenagers to understand the importance of a balanced diet, according to the "Fill My Plate" concept. This service activity aims to increase junior high school student's understanding of balanced nutrition using an approach to making fresh fruit salad. Method: The service method is in the form of counseling and workshops. Counseling on “Fill My Plate” which includes the ideal proportions of various food groups. The workshop consists of practicing making fruit salad (selecting fruit variations) and finishing the fruit salad that has been made, as the core activity. Results: During the workshop, 100% of students were able to make fruit salad variations that followed the content of the counseling and fruit-eating challenge. 2 people out of 37 students who attended did not finish their fruit. Conclusion: This service concludes that this program has succeeded in instilling awareness about the importance of healthy eating patterns from an early age, as well as providing practical skills that can be applied in everyday life
