Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the authority to adjudicate abuse of authority, as well as to understand the practice of adjudicating complaints of abuse of authority by the Honorary Council of General Election Organizers. The method used in preparing this research is a juridical-normative approach, namely research that focuses or examines the application of legal norms or rules in positive law. Apart from that, juridical-normative research focuses on library materials and regulations used as basic materials for preparation. The results of this research are that the provisions on abuse of authority norms in Article 15 letter (d) of DKPP Regulation Number 2 of 2017 have absorbed the concept of abuse of authority in election administration law. From a theoretical perspective, the concept of abuse of authority is usually only limited to the perspective of legal actions/factual actions of government administration, so that it does not become an object of study in ethical assessments/trials. From the juridical aspect, the provisions of Article 15 letter (d) normatively conflict with Article 21 of the AP Law which states that the Court (Administration) has the authority to judge whether there are elements of abuse of authority, so that systematically assessing whether there are elements of abuse of authority is the domain of the State Administrative Court or Bawaslu which is a quasi judiciary in the field of election administration, as stated in Article 460 of the Election Law. Furthermore, the assessment of the actions and actions of election organizers who are deemed to have committed abuses of authority cannot be based on ethical standards, because authority is the core object of study in state administrative law. In other words, Article 15 letter (d) of DKPP Regulation Number 2 of 2017 must be deleted.

Abstract

Campaigning is a candidate's activity carried out to gain public sympathy by showing, offering and announcing a vision and mission aimed at occupying and leading a government. In carrying out political campaigns, there are rules and prohibitions for state and regional officials, namely the prohibition on using state facilities. It is difficult to separate the covert campaign to use state facilities from carrying out one's duties as an official or regional head. This issue certainly needs to receive serious attention, in order to create clean, honest and fair general elections. Therefore, the problem raised in this research is how to regulate the prohibition on the use of state facilities in campaign implementation based on election law regulations, and what are the legal consequences of using state facilities in campaign implementation based on election law regulations? This research uses normative legal research methods or library legal research methods, which are legal research methods carried out by examining library materials related to written legal norms (legislation) which aims to discover or obtain legal principles from positive law. written by the community. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, regulations prohibiting the use of state facilities in the implementation of political campaigns have been regulated in the provisions of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections. The application of sanctions as a legal consequence of the use of state facilities in campaign implementation is based on general election law regulations, which consist of 2 (two) legal sanctions, namely administrative sanctions and criminal sanctions. It is necessary to make clearer and firmer regulations regarding all forms of fraud and violations in the general election and the public is expected to play an active role in participating in overcoming all kinds of fraud in the general election, one of which is violations in the use of state facilities in political campaigns as an effort to ensure that the general election can be held. proceed fairly.

Abstract

Serum 25 hydroxyvitamin D levels are an indicator of the body's vitamin D status. Vitamin D is physiologically involved in regulating blood pressure by regulating the Renin Angiotensin Aldosterone system. Students are a group of young adult individuals who are at risk of being exposed to less sunlight, which means their 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels are insufficient. Research objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels and blood pressure in students at the Faculty of Medicine, Baiturrahmah University. This research used an observational analytical method with a cross sectional design. The sample for this research was 58 students from the Faculty of Medicine, Baiturrahmah University, Padang, class 2020-2023. The largest gender was female, namely 42 people (72.4%), the highest age was 20 years (44.8%), the average 25-hydroxyvitamin D level was 24.49 ng/ml, the average systolic blood pressure was 119.14 mmHg, and the average diastolic blood pressure was 79.64 mmHg. The results of the Spearman correlation analysis of serum 25 hydroxyvitamin D levels with systolic blood pressure obtained values of r=0.22 and p=0.09, correlation analysis of serum 25 hydroxyvitamin D levels with diastolic blood pressure obtained values of r=0.03 and p=0, 79. There is no relationship between serum 25 hydroxyvitamin D levels and systolic and diastolic blood pressure of students at the Faculty of Medicine, Baiturrahmah University.

Abstract

Generation Z is a group that is very familiar with technology, especially using headsets for various purposes such as listening to music, studying, and playing games. However, a lack of knowledge about the correct use of headsets can cause multiple health problems such as hearing loss and physical discomfort. This community service aims to educate Generation Z, especially SMP YARI Padang students, about how to use various types of headsets safely and comfortably. Method: The method includes presentations, interactive discussions, and direct demonstrations in selecting and using an appropriate headset. Results: As a result of the education, students have a better understanding of the various types of headsets and their impact on hearing health and the ergonomics of their use. Students can also identify the type of headset that best suits their needs and understand the importance of limiting usage time to prevent health problems. After counseling, it was found that almost 95% of students were able to answer questions correctly. Hopefully, this education will help Generation Z understand more about selecting and using headsets and minimize the health risks they may face.

Abstract

The problems in this research include the lack of active interaction and reciprocal relationships between superiors and subordinates, such as inadequate training and guidance, providing encouragement and motivation to achieve goals. This is because there are no attractive rewards for employees. Another problem at the Semagi Hotel is that the working environment is not equipped with occupational health and safety (K3) standards for employees. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of motivation and work environment on the performance of Hotel Semagi Muara Bungo employees. This research uses quantitative research methods by distributing questionnaires and the data obtained will be processed using statistical calculations using multiple linear regression formulas. The collection technique used quota sampling with a sample size of 50 employees using a Likert scale as a measurement tool. High work motivation and an adequate and harmonious work environment can encourage employees to improve their performance. The results of this research indicate that there is a significant influence between work motivation and work environment on the performance of Hotel Semagi Muara Bungo employees. Based on the results of the f test, it is known that the significant effect of X1 and X2 simultaneously on Y is 0.001 < 0.05 and the calculated f value is 8.827 > 2.80. So it can be concluded that H3 is accepted, which means that there is a simultaneous influence of X1 and X2 simultaneously affects Y. Based on this, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of work motivation and work environment together on the performance of Hotel Semagi Muara Bungo employees and it can be concluded that the third hypothesis is accepted.
