Abstract

This research aims to find out teacher’s activity, students’ activity, and students’ learning result in 5th grade in the lesson of fractional addition with cooperative learning model type of Problem Based Learning. The type of this research is classroom action research. The setting of this research is 5th grade students in SDN Mantuil 1 Banjarmasin in the academic year 2019/2020 whit 24 students, consisted of 11 male students and 13 female students. The data source is obtained from the teacher, students, and students’ learning results. The data is analyzed with the condition teacher’s activity is considered successful if there are 81% (very active) of students get the score of 66 at the minimum and classically if there are 81% of students get the score of ≥ 66.

Abstract

Management Character Education in Elementary Schools Muhammadiyah 10 Banjarmasin. The problem in this study were : (1) how were character education planning and organizing in SD Muhammadiyah 10 Banjarmasin? , (2) how the implementation of character education was implemented in Muhammadiyah 10 Banjarmasin?, and (3) how to control the character education in Muhammadiyah 10 Banjarmasin?. The purpose of this study was : (1) to determine the character of educational planning in SDMuhammadiyah 10 Banjarmasin (2) to determine the organization of the implementation of character education in SD Muhammadiyah 10 Banjarmasin, (3) to assess the implementation of character education in Muhammadiyah 10 Banjarmasin, and (4) to determine the character of educational supervision of SD Muhammadiyah 10 Banjarmasin.The research object in this study were all residents of State Muhammadiyah 10 Banjarmasin, which consists of the Principal, the Vice Principal, teachers of religion, parents, and students of SD Muhammadiyah 10 Banjarmasin. This research approach using qualitative research , data collection procedures used were : (1) observation , (2) interviews , and (3) documentation and data analysis techniques in the form of qualitative techniques as well as checking the validity of the data is done by making observations and re -check that the data collected can be accounted. The results obtained are: (1) planning of character education in Muhammadiyah 10 Banjarmasin involving all teachers , (2) the organization of character education in Muhammadiyah 10 Banjarmasin involving the entire school (3) the implementation of character education in Muhammadiyah 10 Banjarmasin. wellestablished as communication in the mix works well and (4) supervision of character education in SDM 10 Banjarmasin work together all components.

Abstract

Discovery learning approaches, in particular, are designed to engage students in inquiry through which, guided by the teacher and materials, they "discover" the intended content. Still, the tension remains, for example, in moments when students make discoveries other than as intended The choosing of word in dictionary influences the meaning of comprehending the text by the students. In dictionary, there are so many meanings in one word. It based on the context that we have to use to comprehend a text. The discussion starts with the condition of nowadays, there are two kinds of dictionary named printed and online dictionary. These two kinds of dictionary can help the students to improve their comprehension to understand a text. Besides using the dictionary, the students needed to discover the learning process by them in choosing the word showed by the online dictionary to be used in comprehend a certain text. This journal concentrates in improving the comprehension of the text of students’ using online dictionary and discovery learning.

Abstract

Physiological and psychological factors can cause differences in student achievement. The presence of psychological factors in learning, will contribute quite important. This includes gender which is a sociocultural and psychological dimension Of men and women. The problem raised in this study is whether there are differences in learning outcomes between male and female students in mathematics in SDN Sungai Raya 1, Simpang Empat District, Banjar Regency. The study was conducted with the aim of finding out the differences in learning outcomes between male and female students in mathematics in SDN Sungai Raya 1, Simpang Empat Subdistrict, Banjar District. Sungai Raya 1 Primary School, Simpang Empat Subdistrict, Banjar Distri was made a place of research, while the object was the difference in learning outcome between male and female students in mathematics, while the subjects were students at SDN Sungai Raya 1, Simpang Empat Subdistrict, Simpang Empat District, Banjar District. The study population was all students of SDN Sungai Raya 1, Simpang Empat Subdistrict, Banjar Regency with a total of 120 students and the sample was determined using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique with 3 sample of 92 students. The research method used is descriptive method, while the data minig tool is a document. Where the learning outcomes of male students who have been converted into interval data is symbolized by X_1 and female student learning outcomes are symbolized by X_2. Based on the results of statistical analysis through t-test calculations obtained: toount of 3.023 lebih besar ttable of 1.986 with a significance level of 5% and df 90 means an alternative hypothesis that reads, "there are differences in learning outcomes between male students and female students in mathematics in SDN Sungai Raya I Simpang Empat District, Banjar Regency "was accepted. Suggestions that researchers can convey should teachers pay special attention to the problem of differences in mathematics learning outcomes between male and female students in order to achieve the same maximum learning outcomes. For example, by providing more motivation for female students and more facilitating female students to be able to improve mathematical learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is purposed to analyze the correlation between students’ vocabulary mastery and their skill in writing a short text at the second semester of counseling department of Achmad Yani University. In this research, the writer used quantitative method by Pearson correlation product moment. There are two variables in this research. Students’ vocabulary as independent variable (variable X) and writing ability as dependent variable (variable Y), the technique of collecting data was by using a test. The test consists of 22 items of vocabulary test and 1 item of writing ability. The object of study is 10 students from the second semester of counseling department of Achmad Yani University. From the calculation by using product moment formula, it was found out that the mean of the scores of the vocabulary test is 67,6. The mean of the scores of the students’ achievement in writing mastery is 67,8. The result of applying the rxy (r count) distribution shows that the coefficient correlation is 0.777. The degree of significance 5% is 0.632 and the degree of significance 1% is 0.765. It means r count is higher than r table (0.777 lebih besar 0.632) and (0.777 lebih besar 0.765). So, alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. The conclusion of this research is there is a significant correlation between students’ vocabulary mastery and their writing a short text ability.

Abstract

This research is an experimental research that was conducted by using English conversation applicatioon as a media to activate the students’ speaking skill of Public Administration Department. Speaking is one of the language skills to develop the communication competency, and to reach the level of functional literacy. Thus, speaking is one of the language skills that must be mastered by students. Based on those conditions, the writer tries to offer one teaching media for teaching speaking that is English conversation application. The purpose of this research was to know whether or not there was a significant effect of using English conversation application on the second semester at public administration department. The research design was quasi experimental research with non-equivalent groups pre-test and post-test design. Researcher chose two classes, they were given a pre-test to check on the equivalent of the groups on the dependent variable before the experiment began. After knowing the scores of pre-test the experimental group received treatment, that is, using guessing games while the control group was taught using question and answer technique. After that, the researcher gave a post-test to both groups to know the significant difference of the speaking achievement between the experimental and the control group. The subjects of this research were banjarmasin and banjarbaru class. Based on the computation of the t-test formula (from the scores of pre test), it showed that the mean scores of the control class was 54.28 and the mean scores of experimental class was 60.16. Meanwhile, the computation of the independent sample t-test formula (from the scores of post test) showed that the mean scores of control class was 52.78 and the mean scores of the experimental class was 61,02. Analyzing the mean scores of both groups, the mean scores of the students’ speaking test in the control class was decreased, from 54,28 to 52,78. On the contrary, the mean scores of the students’ speaking test in the experimental class was increased, from 60.16 to 61.02. From the fact findings, it can be seen that the treatment could give a significant result to the students’ speaking skill to the experimental class.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bagaimana sistem religi suku Dohoi dan memaparkan data reil penutur bahasa Dohoi saat ini di kecamatan Tumbang Samba kabupaten Katingan. Ditinjau dari paradigmanya, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dikatakan demikian karena ciri-ciri yang melekat pada penelitian kualitatif dipakai dalam penelitian ini. Bila ditinjau dari sudut analisis datanya, penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Sosiosemantik-generik struktur dan sosiokultural fenomenologis yang didasarkan atas fenomena sosial kultural yang berlatar keyakinan atau kepercayaan yang dituturkan oleh masyarakat suku Dohoi sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dan sumber data penelitian ini adalah ungkapan atau ujaran yang digali dengan teknik wawancara baik terstruktur maupun tidak terstruktur. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis untuk memperoleh gambaran konkrit sesuai objek penelitian, yaitu penggambaran bentuk system religi dan bahasa Suku Dohoi. Tentunya menggunakan triangulasi sebagai pengabsahan data, sehingga secara objektif data yang dipaparkan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan keilmiahannya. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan gambaran tentang sistem religi suku Dohoi dan gambaran bahasa Dohoi yang digunakan masyarakat saat ini di kecamatan Tumbang Samba kabupaten Katingan

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the comparison between the vocabulary mastery of students who were taught using mind mapping techniques and students who were not taught using these techniques. Based on the results of preliminary observations and interviews with English teachers at local schools, there were several obstacles experienced by students in learning English. The main problem is the lack of mastery of English vocabulary that is owned by students so that they have difficulty communicating using English both spoken and written. Based on this problem, the researcher formulated the problem in this study, namely, how much influence is the mind mapping learning model to improve the English vocabulary of students in class VII at SMPN 35 Banjarmasin City. In this study, researchers are the main actors in applying the mind mapping learning model to the learning process in the classroom.This research will use quasi experimental research. The population of this study were all of the seventh grade students of SMPN 35 Banjarmasin City. The author will take a sample using purposive random sampling in which students are divided into two groups. The research instrument that will be used to collect data in this study is a test. The test results are the scores of students from the experimental and control groups. The data of the research were then analyzed through paired sample t-test after normally test. Researchers used the SPSS version 21 application. Based on the findings of this research, mind mapping technique cannot give significance influence to the students’ vocabulary mastery because significance value of wilcoxon analysis was bigger than 0,05. So the alternative hypothesis was rejected and null hypothesis is accepted. it can be concluded that mind mapping technique is not good learning model to apply in teaching English for junior high school.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk mengetahui tingkat kemandirian siswa SDN 1 Pasayangan Kecamatan Martapura Kabupaten Banjar, 2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian siswa terhadap pembentukan karakter SDN 1 Pasayangan. Siswa sekolah, Kecamatan Martapura, Kabupaten Banjar. percobaan. Metode penelitian eksperimen merupakan metode penelitian yang paling produktif, karena jika penelitian dilakukan dengan baik maka dapat menjawab hipotesis yang terutama berkaitan dengan hubungan sebab akibat, karena dalam penelitian ini peneliti mengontrol atau memanipulasi variabel penelitian. Hasil perhitungan di atas menggunakan rumus product moment. diketahui nilai rhitung sebesar 0,389. Hasil tersebut kemudian dikonsultasikan dengan rtabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan N = 30 responden yaitu 0,361. Artinya nilai thitung = 0,389 lebih besar dari ttabel pada taraf 5% yaitu 0,361. Dengan kata lain, kemandirian terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa termasuk dalam kategori sebagian besar (baik). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 66,13. Pengaruh kemandirian terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan rata-rata hasil jawaban angket sebesar 50,17.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah efektif penggunaan media audiovisual terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Tematik di SDN 2 Loktabat Utara Banjarbaru. Tempat penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada SDN 2 Loktabat Utara Banjarbaru kecamatan Banjarbaru Utara, Kota Banjarbaru.Obyek yang diteliti adalah Efektivitas Media Audiovisual Terhadap Motivasi Siswa Pada Pembelajaran Tematik, dan subyek yaitu seluruh siswa kelas IV B pada SDN 2 Loktabat Utara Banjarbaru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri kelas IV pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Loktabat Utara Banjarbaru yang berjumlah 54 orang sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV B yang terdiri dari 13 laki-laki dan 14 perempuan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Loktabat Utara Banjarbaru tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Teknik sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik Proposive Sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mixed methode deskriptif yaitu penggabungan antara metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif dalam satu penelitian, dan menggunakan alat penggali data berupa obervasi, wawancara dan angket serta dokumentasi. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan cara data reduction (reduksi data), data display (penyajian pata), conclusion drawing (penarikan kesimpulan). Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa data yang diperoleh melalui penelitian library research (kepustakaan) dan penelitian field research (lapangan), dalam menganalisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus rata-rata (mean) dan terakhir di rumuskan dengan menggunakan kategori efektifitas.
