Abstract

This study aims to find out about the process of school management of existing facilities and infrastructure. The activities in this research include starting from planning activities, procurement, storage, maintenance, and removal that have been done in SDN Belitung Selatan 1 Banjarmasin. The method used in this research is descriptive evaluative method. The object of research is about the management of education facilities and infrastructure that has been done in SDN Belitung Selatan 1 Banjarmasin. The subjects are the Headmaster and all teachers of SDN Belitung Selatan 1 Banjarmasin, amounting to 11 people. The data collection used documentation from the school as secondary data, while to know the management of education facilities and facilities using a closed questionnaire with 4 choices of answers for respondents, ie always (SL), often (SR), sometimes (KK), and not ever (TP). Validation test with pearson product moment approach), while reliable test using Alpha-Cronbach approach assisted SPSS version 20 application. In general, the implementation of facilities and infrastructure management at SDN Belitung Selatan 1 Banjarmasin runs well, except on the implementation of procurement and maintenance functions at SDN Belitung Selatan 1 Banjarmasin running with Good Enough.

Abstract

This study aims to increase teacher activity, student activities and find out student learning outcomes Mathematics about Volume Cubes and Beams about style uses a models with Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) in class V SDN Belandean 1 Barito Kuala District. This study uses a qualitative research approach with the Classroom Action Research (CAR). The setting of this study was carried out in class V SDN Belandean 1 Barito Kuala District the number of students 19 people with details of 10 male students and 9 female students. The results of the study applying of models with Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) can increase teacher activity with very good criteria, student activities become very active and learning outcomes achieve indicators of classical completeness success 100%.

Abstract

Reading is a basic ability that can be used by students in elementary school, so students can read the writing well, correctly, and quickly, can provide reading content. The fact that the ability to read fast from grade 1 students of SDN Berangas Timur 1 in Alalak District, Barito Kuala District, is still very lacking, and very difficult. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research which is a form of focusing on reflective research by carrying out teaching actions in order to improve or enhance forms of professional learning in the classroom. The results showed that through the learning model Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review (SQ3R), it could make the activities and abilities of teachers to be better in implementing reading learning in class I SDN Berangas Timur 1. This is evident from: (1) the teacher activity score of the first cycle of the 1st meeting was 57 good enough categories, the second meeting was 76.4 in the good category, in the second cycle the 1st meeting was 90.3 in the very good category, and 2nd meeting was 94.4 very good categories. (2) The learning model of Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review (SQ3R), can increase students' activities in learning to read, this is proven by the student activity score of the first cycle of the 1st meeting at 60.9 categories, good enough, 2nd meeting totaling 76.4 good categories, second cycle meeting 1 was 87.6 very good category, and second meeting was 95.3 very good category. (3) Survey Model, Question, Read, Recite, And Review (SQ3R), can improve the reading ability of first grade students, as proven by individual students' reading ability in the first cycle of the 1st meeting. the average is able to read 20.35 words, the second meeting on average is able to read 24.53 words, the second cycle of the first meeting is able to read 28.41 words, and the second meeting the average student is able to read 34 , 24 words. (4) Percentage of learning completeness, cycle 1 of the 1st meeting was completed 64.71%, 2nd meeting was completed 94.12%, cycle II of the 1st and 2nd meetings was 100% complete, and the results exceeded the indicators predetermined success. Based on these results, this study was declared successful. Thus the dissemination of the learning model Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review (SQ3R), can be used as an alternative to improve students' reading ability

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increasing independence of learners PGSD UAY Banjarmasin through quantum teaching models on social education at Elementary School. This study uses classroom action research with the subject is all the students of semester IV of academic year 2016/2017, with the total students are 37 consist of 20 male students and 17 female students. Techniques and instruments of data collection of this research use: (1) Observation Technique (Observation) is used to observe about the independence of the students using quantum teaching model in learning process, (2) The technique of Questionnaire, used to observe the independence of learning, and (4) Documentation techniques, used to file the activities of learners, in the form of taking photos and video during the study took place. The results of the classroom action research that has been carried out during two cycles to improve students' learning independence on Social Education at Elementary School using quantum teaching model on PGSD UAY Banjarmasin students concluded that learning independence is increasing. The increase is proved by the average score of learning independence of each student in cycle I with the percentage is 64.2% in the category of learning independence becomes 87.5% in cycle II, with very good criteria and has achieved a minimum indicator of learning success which reached 80% of very good criteria. While the questionnaire data independence learners score in cycle I is 122,5, with the average value of learning independence of the students is 3.3 and the percentage is 65.2% becomes 154.4 with the average value of independence of students is 4, 2 and the percentage is 83.5 which are included very good criteria and achieved the minimum learning success indicator which reached at least 80% very good criteria. Based on the results of research, it is suggested that educator need various models of learning in accordance with the learning process, so that the ability to learn independently of the students can be maximize in order to achieve the objectives of learning as well as of the purpose of nation’s character.

Abstract

The problem of this research is the low learning outcomes of mathematics resulting in low student learning outcomes in the mathematics content of grade V SD Negeri Patih Selera, Barito Kuala Regency. Because the model used is too monotonous. One of the efforts to improve learning outcomes is through realistic models. The purpose of this study was to determine student activity and improve student activity and learning outcomes. This study used Classroom Action Research (PTK), which was conducted in four meetings. The research subjects were students in grade V even semester SD Negeri Patih Selera, the number of students was 11. The type of data in this study were qualitative and quantitative data, through observation of student activity quantitative data was obtained through measurement techniques with written tests. individually. The data analysis was carried out by using qualitative techniques which were described by a set graph and learning completeness indicators. The results of this study indicate that the student activities at the first meeting reached good criteria, the second meeting reached the good criteria, the third meeting reached the very good criteria, and the fourth meeting reached the very good criteria. Student activity at meeting I reached medium criteria, meeting II reached moderate, meeting III reached high, and meeting IV reached high criteria. Classical completeness of student learning outcomes at the first meeting reached 41.81%, the second meeting reached 56.36%, the third meeting reached 67.27%, and the fourth meeting reached 76.37%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that a realistic model can improve student activity and learning outcomes. It is recommended to use this model as an alternative in increasing student activity which has an impact on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of guidance and counseling teachers in improving student achievement in SMP Negeri 3 Bati – Bati Tanah Laut Regency. The population of this study includes all students of SMP Negeri 3 Bati – Bati Tanah Laut Regency as many as 90 people and the sample is 23 people. To explore the main data about the role of counseling guidance teachers in improving student learning achievement using data mining tools or questionnaires. The collected data is processed and then analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. The results of the questionnaire processing indicate that the role of the counseling guidance teacher in improving student achievement is quite large or large. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the role of counseling guidance teachers in improving learning achievement in SMP Negeri 3 Bati – Bati Tanah Laut Regency is very much needed. This can be proven by the students' answers to the alternative answers "always" as many as 15 people or 65.9%, who answered "sometimes" as many as 6 people or 25.2% and those who answered "never" only 2 people or 8.9%. Based on the results of this study indicate that if the service or the role of guidance and counseling teachers in improving student learning achievement is given better and more optimally, there is a tendency to actually improve student learning outcomes or student achievement in SMP Negeri 3 Bati – Bati Tanah Laut Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the implementation of character education through habituation in Angkinang State Elementary Schools, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. The object of this research is the application of character education through habituation in the Angkinang State Elementary School, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. The subjects in this study were all students at the Angkinang State Elementary School, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. The population of students studied from grade I to VI was 79 students. By using qualitative methods. Data mining tools by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of character education through habituation at the Angkinang State Elementary School, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency has a very positive influence on students at school and is reflected in their daily activities. The application of character education through habituation at SDN Angkinang Kab. Hulu Sungai Selatan received positive results because it was able to change the attitudes of students for the better, these attitudes can be seen from their daily activities at school. And habituation activities are also very easy to do without wasting time or wasting energy, especially for elementary school students who are still young can understand through simple examples

Abstract

Students’ Errors in Writing Simple Present Tense at Counseling Department of Achmad Yani University. The objective of this study is to analyze the students’ errors in writing sentences in simple present tense. The scope of the research is focused on one tenses namely simple present tense. Research method was used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Based on the result of the research, the researcher could conclude that most of subject or sample of the research did mistakes in misinformation because they write wrong in grammatical form and made the sentences were incorrect

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between the use of learning resources via the internet and the learning motivation of fifth grade students at SDN Keramat Mina, Banjar Regency. The object of this research is the relationship between the use of learning resources via the internet and the learning motivation of fifth grade students at SDN Keramat Mina, Banjar Regency. The subjects in this study were all fifth grade students at SDN Keramat Mina, Banjar Regency. The sample in this study using purposive sampling amounted to 30 students. The data mining tool used was a questionnaire. The data analysis used was correlation technique. Based on data analysis, it is concluded that there is a relationship between the use of learning resources via the internet and the learning motivation of grade V students at SDN Keramat Mina, Banjar Regency based on the analysis of rxy = 0,451 lebih besar rtabel= 0,361 at a significance level of 5% of N = 30. Based on the research conducted, the suggestions that the researcher wants to put forward are as follows: study harder and help students learn more actively in order to improve learning outcomes after utilizing learning resources via the internet, b) from the research results it is proven that there is a relationship between the use of learning resources via the internet and student learning motivation. For this reason, parents are advised to provide support and supervision in using the internet as a source of student learning. So that it can increase learning motivation, and provide positive information for students. c) from the research results it is suggested that teachers be motivated and creative in using the internet as a source of material for teaching so that they do not only provide material from books, and by using the internet so as to improve the quality of education at SDN Keramat Mina, Banjar Regency, d) the results of the research are suggested schools can make a good positive contribution to teaching and learning activities after utilizing learning resources via the internet, as well as being a reference for increasing student motivation at SDN Keramat Mina Banjar Regency in the use of learning resources via the internet, e) from the research results it is suggested to researchers who conducting similar research, so that it can be used as an addition to insight and knowledge in children's education, especially for student motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is no relationship between learning discipline and learning motivation in grade V at SD Negeri 2 Loktabat Utara, Banjarbaru City. The object of this research is the relationship between learning discipline and learning motivation of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Loktabat Utara, Banjarbaru City. The subjects in this study were all students at the North Loktabat 2 Elementary School, Banjarbaru City. The sample in this study using purposive sampling amounted to 28 students. The data mining tool used was a questionnaire. The data analysis used was correlation technique. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that there is a relationship between learning discipline and learning motivation in grade V at SDN 2 Loktabat Utara Kota Banjarbaru based on the analysis rcount = 0.926 lebih besar rt 0.374 at the 5% significance level of N = 28. The researchers stated that are as follows: a) for teachers: become input material for teachers in encouraging students to be more enthusiastic in learning and instilling a disciplined attitude in learning so that learning achievement increases to be better and more effective in motivating classroom student learning V at SDN 2 Loktabat Utara Kota Banjarbaru, 2) the principal should be more motivating teachers to improve the quality of student learning, especially the learning discipline of grade V students at SDN 2 Loktabat Utara Kota Banjarbaru, and 3) to other researchers so that they can conduct research with a focus on problems that exist in school or focus that is different from popu wider lasi.
