Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to: 1) Identify the economic sectors included in the progressive sector in Bolaang Mongondow Regency; 2) Identify agricultural commodities that are commodity-based agriculture in Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This study uses primary data from the Department of Agriculture and Plantation Agency and secondary data in the form of data on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Bolaang Mongondow Regency and North Sulawesi Province in 2013-2017 and agricultural commodity data of Bolaang Mongondow Regency and North Sulawesi Province in 2012-2016. The data was analyzed using the Location Quotient and Shift Share methods. The results of the study concluded that: 1) There are 5 economic sectors which are the base sectors namely the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries sector; Mining and Excavation sector; the Electricity and Gas Procurement sector, the Real Estate sector and the Education Services sector. However, only the Mining and Excavation sector has a progressive growth rate and has a competitive advantage. As for the Agriculture sector itself, it has a growth rate that is not progressive and lacks competitive advantage; 2) There are 15 agricultural commodities which are the base commodities in Bolaang Mongondow Regency, namely green beans, soybeans, corn, rice, candlenut, coffee, cocoa, pineapple, mango, mangosteen, spinach, long beans, kale, eggplant and potatoes. As for now the commodities that are the government's main focus are soybeans, corn, rice, cocoa, pineapple and potatoes. Keywords: Progressive Sector; Base Commodity; Location Quotient; Shift Share.

Abstract

This study is a survey that aims to: 1) Describe the implementation of the KRPL program in Lawang Subdistrict, 2) Analyze the responses of farmers to the KRPL program in Lawang District, and 3) Analyze the influence of age, education, number of family members, income, yard area, perception and motivation towards farmer response to the KRPL program. This research was conducted in Ketindan and Kalirejo Village, Lawang District, Malang Regency. Determination of the research location was carried out purposively with the criteria that Lawang Subdistrict was the KRPL program recipient area. The object of study was the member of two female farmers Lawang District which received the KRPL program consist of 21 farmers from Teratai female farmers association and 25 farmers from Wanodyo female farmer association. The research using quantitative paradigm and conducted with survey techniques. Analysis of the data used included tests of validity, reliability, t test, normality test, multicollinearits, heteroscedasticity and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) The KRPL program was developed in Lawang Subdistrict as an effort to optimize the use of yard and food diversification in overcoming food insecurity in Malang Regency, 2) The level of farmers' response to the development of the KRPL program was 87% while the remaining 13% were still unsure , and 3) Factors that significantly influence the response of farmers in implementing the KRPL program in Lawang District, Malang Regency are the perceptions and motivations of farmers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the activities carried out at the level of wholesalers and retailers in Makassar Traditional Eggplant Market and determine the marketing margin of rice in Makassar Traditional Eggplant Market. The number of samples taken as many as 8 retail respondents and as many as 6 respondents of large traders taken by simple random sampling. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis to identify rice magnification activities in the Makassar City of Terong Traditional Market and quantitative analysis, which is to analyze marketing margins and rice profit ratios in the Makassar City of Terong Traditional Market with the formula of marketing margin and profit ratio. Activities undertaken by large traders prior to selling are ensuring the amount of rice stock, contacting rice suppliers and making direct and indirect sales while retailers do not conduct a series of activities before selling, at the level of rice traders only conducting sales activities. Marketing margins from retailer which is Rp. 1,705 while the marketing magin at the wholesaler level is Rp. 867.

Abstract

Market segmentation is the process of classifying heterogeneous whole markets into groups or segments that have similarities in terms of needs, desires, behavior and / or responses to specific marketing programs. Gowa Tourism Gardens is one of the tourist attractions in South Sulawesi which has a lot of tourism supporting facilities and is still in the development stage so market segmentation needs to be done. The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of visitors to the Gowa Tourism Gardens and analyze the dependencies between the Gowa Tourism Gardens market segmentation variables. This study determines the market segmentation by using consumer loyalty as the dependent variable and demographic, geographical, psychographic, and visitor behavior data as independent variables. The number of samples in this study as many as 150 people. Methods of data analysis using CHAID analysis. The results of this study indicate that most visitors to the Gowa Garden Tourism are women, adolescents, have a junior high school education, have student/ college student status, have an income ≤Rp500,000.00 per month, and from outside the region Gowa. The significant independent variable with the dependent variable of visitor loyalty based on the results of the CHAID analysis is the supporting facilities variable used by visitors to Gowa Garden Tourism and vehicle ownership. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to identify the location of the mango gedong gincu production base, the distribution characteristics and the role of mango gedong gincu commodity in support of regional development in the Majalengka Regency. The data used is a secondary data period of 2016-2018 years. The data analysis methods used are location quotient analysis, localization and specialization analyzers, basic service ratio analysis, and region multipliers. The results showed that the mango gedong gincu base area based on the production indicators in Majalengka District is Majalengka sub-district, Dawuan sub-district, Kasokandel sub-district, Panyingkaran sub-district, Kadipaten sub-district, Kertajapati subdistrict, Jatitujuh sub-district, Ligung sub-district, and Sumberjaya sub-district. The nine sub-districts consistently became the base of the mango gedong gincu commodity for a period of 2016 to 2018 years. Mango gedong gincu commodity farming is not concentrated on a sub-district but is spreading spatially and the mango commodity farming is not yet a specialized farming effort in the sub-district of the mango gedong gincu commodity base in Majalengka Regency. The presence of mango product farming promotes economic development in the form of a multiplier impact for the sub-districts of Majalengka in the form of an increase in community income and the absorption of manpower in agriculture and other sectors.. Abstract

Good water management is the key to successful farming in swamp land. One of the important elements in water management is the Water User Farmers Association as the main actor that regulates water management and maintains water management infrastructure. Water User Farmers Association has an important role as a forum for learning teamwork in supporting the production process. A self-sufficient Water User Farmers Association will be able to meet its groups' needs independently. This preliminary study aims to assess the institutional structure of Water User Farmer Association in food estate area on the swampland of Central Kalimantan. The research was conducted in Belanti Siam Village and Gedabung Village, Pandih Batu District, Pulang Pisau Regency and Terusan Karya Village and Terusan Mulya Village, Betaguh District, Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan which were used as demfarm locations. The methodology of this research using by interviews and group discussions with management and members of farmer groups. The parameters observed include: organizational, financial, irrigation techniques (operationalization and maintenance), government support, cultivation technology, and relationships with other institutions as indicators of group independence. The results showed that the Water User Farmer Association group in the food estate area was classified as moderate independent. Efforts that need to be made to achieve a level of independence include: (i) continuous guidance and assistance from related agencies, (ii) development and enhancement of institutional capacity both in terms of organization/management and the ability of its members. The independent Water User Farmer Association institution ensures sustainability of the food estate in swampland.

Abstract

Palm oil has a bright prospect in the future, which is indicated by the average growth rate of vegetable oil consumption by 2050 projected at 3.31%. The effort is inseparable from the role and performance of the palm oil sector companies, where one of the assessments is through analysis of financial statements. The purpose of study is determine whether there are changes income statements between years and know the comparison of financial performance at PT ASTRA dan PT SMART. The research sample is the financial statements of the two companies for the period 2015-2019 from the pages of each company. Data analysis is in the form of descriptive and statistical Independent Sample T-tests. The results showed that changes in the income statement of PT SMART were better than PT ASTRA. Different test shows four of the seven variables namely CR, DAR, DER and GPM between the two companies are different.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of social change and the factors that influence the modernization of lowland rice cultivation in Secanggang District, Langkat Regency. The data collection method used is the method of observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. Furthermore, 69 samples were tested using a Likert scale with multiple linear regression methods using SPSS version 20.00. The results showed that the level of social change was 89.69% with a very high category. There is a significant influence between cultural values, community behavior patterns, community institutions, and socio-economic relations in Telaga Jerni Village, Secanggang Village and Tanjung Ibus Village (F> 0.05 = 10,759).

Abstract

The application of appropriate strategies can encourage tourism development that emphasizes the tourism principle that tourism must depart from the awareness of the values ​​of community needs as an effort to build tourism that is more beneficial to the needs, initiatives and opportunities of local communities. This study aims to: analyze the strawberry picking agro-tourism development strategy in Pandanrejo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City, analyze the factors that support the development of picking strawberry agro-tourism in Pandanrejo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City, analyze the factors that hinder the development of picking agro-tourism strawberry in Pandanrejo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City. The research location in strawberry picking agro-tourism in Pandanrejo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City, East Java. Data obtained by the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data was tested by using triangulation technique. This study uses a SWOT analysis. The results of the analysis show that strategies that can be carried out for the development of strawberry picking agro-tourism are optimizing facilities and improving servants and promotion of picking strawberry attractions, conducting product reservation by maximizing existing land, compiling tour packages with various price levels, working with travel agents and improving resource quality. human.

Abstract

Many manufacturers who opened the business of the beverage industry in Malang, especially in business drink bubble tea, one of which is brand Chatime. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the product, the labeling of halal, brand, and price on the decision of purchasing of drinks Chatime. The sampling technique using Purposive Sampling, with the number of respondents 120 and using multiple linear regression analysis. Research results dominate characteristics of respondents by the female gender with the age range of 18-28 years old, college education, and with an income range of Rp. 1000.001 - Rp. 2000.000. The results of the research to variable product values got the significance of 0.000, which means the influence on purchase decisions, the significance value of the variable labeling of halal namely 0,653 which means it does not affect the purchase decision, the value of significance variable brand that 0,521 which means it does not affect the purchase decision, and the value of the significance of the price variable that is to 0.033, which means the price variables affect the purchase decision of beverage Chatime. The company should maintain the quality of the product and the price, but it imprints the halal label on the packaging and always innovating on the product sold.
