Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed many things in consumer behavior, including in shopping for daily necessities. The flexibility and efficiency offered by digital technology have encouraged the two largest retail companies in Indonesia to develop a digital food convenience store platform as a strategy to improve service to their customers. By 2021, the developed food convenience store platform has been used by more than one million customers. However, some customers have complaints against the platforms. It means that there are platform attribute performances that need to be improved. This study aims to analyze the attributes of the digital food convenience store platform that users consider important and contribute significantly to its performance. The number of respondents in this study was 200 users of digital food convenience stores platforms, and the data obtained were analyzed by the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. As a result, there are 18 attributes that are considered extremely important by users: login methods, product diversity, user data security, delivery accuracy, product accuracy, customer service, shopping discount, shipping cost discount, direct delivery service and product compatibility. However, users rated that customer service, shopping discounts, and shipping discounts attribute did not meet their expectations. Overall, the performance of the digital food convenience store platform in Indonesia reached 85.83% of user expectations, so that the digital platform developer needs to concentrate on these three attributes so that the level of performance can be maximized and meet user expectations.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is a complex matter because it is related to technical problems and the planning, administration, funding, management of income sources, diversification of service rates, and effectiveness and efficiency of the education system. Semarang State University (Unnes) is one of the universities still categorized as a Public Service Agency, which is still transforming into a legal entity university (PTNBH). This study aims to determine the income from the current service tariffs, map the potential for additional revenue from available services, and analyze revenue potential by simulating new service tariffs. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. The study results show that the management and transparency of easily obtained university budgeting guide data will reduce the risk of budget management. Budget diversification will minimize the risk so that budget management will run more effectively and efficiently. Furthermore, it is known that the service tariffs that have been in effect so far are considered not optimal and can still be developed into the potential for diversifying the Institution's income. That makes it possible to enter work contracts with external parties to optimize revenue potential and better quality management.

Abstract

Workplace fulfillment is critical for motivating workers, boosting productivity, and improving general wellbeing. It also emphasizes relevance of the program to match the industrial demands, as this drives the creation of educational policies, practices, funding allocation, and curriculum design to effectively meet the demands of the general public, employers, and students. This descriptive study investigated the employment status, program relevance, and job satisfaction of LSPU-SPCC BS Criminology graduates from batches 2015 to 2019. The study utilized a descriptive design with a mixed-methods approach having 205 graduates that responded the self-made questionnaire. Result shows that majority of graduates were found to be male and of single civil status, and they were mostly employed by governmental agencies with permanent status, particularly the Philippine National Police. The ratings for skills, curriculum, OJT programs, faculty competency and expertise, instruction and work-related values were favourable to their career but there are prospects for development. Graduates feel quite satisfied with their jobs, particularly with regard to the pay, perks, and job security, although there is space for improvement in terms of promotion chances. Job satisfaction was found to be influenced by healthy working relationships. Employers can take advantage of these findings to foster a positive work environment and provide opportunities for career growth, leading to increased job satisfaction and overall organizational success. The findings suggest that continuous program improvement, guided by program administrators and educators, is necessary to better prepare graduates for careers in criminology.

Abstract

nflation has affected numerous aspects of living globally, and this consistent drop in purchasing power has been attributed to the rise of overall prices of goods, leading to greater challenges in global living standards. There have been numerous studies indicating the impact of inflation amongst many stakeholders, but in this study, the objective is to assess whether it also affected the learners of a selected institution in the same way. Hence, a descriptive-correlational design was utilized to describe and correlate the levels of perceived assessment on modern-day inflation and the perceived changes in the budget consumption and decisions of Senior High School learners in the period of 2022. A structured Likert scale survey questionnaire adopted from the study of Avila & Gatpolintan (2019) was distributed to a sample of 282 respondents using simple random sampling. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics for the first two objectives and Pearson r correlation for the third. The study revealed a very high level of agreement in the price increase brought by their perceptions toward modern-day inflation, a very high level of agreement on their perceived changes toward expenditures, and a high level for their preferences and quantity of consumption. The study also noted a moderate positive correlation (p<0.05) between the two variables, indicating that the learners' budgeting behaviors are influenced by their assessment of rising prices and that their perceptions have also been influenced by how they chose and quantified their necessities, respectively.

Abstract

Personality traits play a crucial role in shaping theories related to entrepreneurial processes, particularly in terms of entrepreneurial intentions. This study aimed to assess the levels of personality traits and entrepreneurial intentions among Grade 12 students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) senior high school programs, as well as to explore their significant relationships. Employing a descriptive correlational research design, the study involved 211 Grade 12 STEM and HUMSS students selected through stratified random sampling. Conducted via online forms, the results indicated high levels of openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism, alongside elevated entrepreneurial intentions. Additionally, Spearman’s correlation revealed significant relationships between openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, and agreeableness with entrepreneurial intentions. However, no significant relationship was found between neuroticism and entrepreneurial intentions. Importantly, the study identified relationships between personality traits and entrepreneurial intentions among Grade 12 STEM and HUMSS senior high school learners.

Abstract

The tremendous shift towards digital platforms has prompted businesses to go online during the heights of the pandemic. Among those who embraced this enormous shift are the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which are the backbone of the economic growth in developing countries. The efficient use of social media marketing has been a key player in the success of companies in today’s business environment, and the quest for sustainable development gives rise to the need for better strategic decisions in the MSMEs. This paper analyzes whether there is a relationship between social media integration and the financial performance of selected micro retail businesses in Cebu City. The level of social media integration and the total assets turnover of 385 selected micro retail businesses were correlated using Pearson’s correlation, with their related advertising expenses as the moderating variable. As observed in a non-contrived setting with minimal interference, our results showed a weak positive correlation among the variables correlated with such relationships varying per business industry. Our analysis also revealed that the average total assets turnover of businesses employing social media is higher than those which do not. The results also showed that the more integrated the business is, the more likely they are to invest in social media advertising.
