Abstract

The purpose of the study. To find out: a) The effect of the Jigsaw cooperative learning bentuk on learning achievement in sports physiology. b) The influence of motivation on learning achievement in Sports Physiology. c) The interaction between the Jigsaw cooperative learning bentuk and motivation on learning achievement in Sports Physiology. Materials and methods. The population was students of the Department of Sport Science and Sports Coaching, Faculty of Sports and Health, Bhayangkara University Greater Jakarta. The sample is the third semester students consisting of two classes, namely class A as treatment and class B as control. Because the population is small, there is no sampling. Data collection techniques using motivation questionnaires and learning achievement tests. The data analysis technique used two-way analysis of variance. Results. The results The results of the analysis a) The learning achievement of students taught with the Jigsaw cooperative learning bentuk (mean = 60.81) was better than students taught with the conventional bentuk (mean = 60.21) obtained a statistical value of 7.234 with a significance of 0.002. b) The learning achievement of students with high motivation (mean = 71.05) is better than students who study with low motivation (mean = 50.00) obtained a statistical value of 146.905 with a significance of 0.000. c) There is an interaction of influence between learning bentuks and motivation in increasing learning achievement in the Sports Physiology course, the statistical value is 12.342 with a significance of 0.001. Conclusions. So from the results of this study it can be concluded that the Jigsaw type of cooperative learning bentuk is better than the conventional bentuk, and high learning motivation is better than low learning motivation

Abstract

The purpose of the study. Determine the relationship between in perceptions, attitudes and learning motivation to learning outcomes, considering that many students have not obtained good learning achievement. There are two factors that influence learning outcomes, namely external factors and internal factors. Internal factors are student perceptions, student attitudes, and learning motivation. Materials and methods. This type of quantitative research uses correlational analysis techniques, the population of this study is all students of the 2019 PORKES Study Program which can be 140 people, while the sample in this study is 72 people. In this study, the sampling technique used proportional random sampling technique. The instruments used were the perception questionnaire, the attitude questionnaire and the learning motivation questionnaire. Data obtained from simple message and simple regression for hypothesis one, two and three without permission from multiple regression. Results. The results of the data analysis show that: (1) there is a significant relationship between student perceptions and learning outcomes of Porkes Indraprasta University students, (2) there is no significant relationship between student attitudes towards student learning outcomes of PORKES UNINDRA, (3) student learning motivation towards student learning outcomes PORKES UNINDRA, (4) there is no significant relationship between student perceptions, student attitudes, and student learning motivation together on student learning outcomes PORKES UNINDRA. Conclusions. This study it can be concluded that student perceptions, student attitudes, and student motivation to learn significantly contribute to student learning outcomes PORKES UNINDRA.

Abstract

The purpose of the study. To determine the magnitude of increase in learning outcomes obtained forehand drive class VIII SMP Negeri 9 Binjai 2019/2020 through inclusion of teaching styles. Materials and methods. The sample in this study were 38 students of class VIII. To analyze the data in this study and to find out the results seen from the students' completeness individually and classically. The research method used is a classroom action research method. In this study, a learning outcome test was carried out in the form of a portfolio, with the inclusive teaching style method, then a learning outcome test was held in cycle I and cycle II in the form of performing the basic technique of Forehand Drive Punch. Results. The results of the initial tests conducted on class VIII students of SMP N 9 Binjai. Of the 38 students there were 11 students (27.64%) who had reached the level of mastery learning with an average value of student learning outcomes of 64.90%. The results of the first cycle, there were 19 students (50%) of 38 students, who had reached the level of completeness of learning with an average value of student learning outcomes 68.41%. In cycle II there are 33 students (86.84%) of 38 students who have reached the level of learning completeness with an average value of 80.04. Conclusions. The results of the initial tests of student learning to do the first cycle and the second cycle increased, danpat said through inclusion style of teaching can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. to know that exercise can enhance the function of the brain vitalization cogitif in young adulthood. Materials and methods. The sample selected from all the students of the Academy of Physiotherapy in accordance with the inclusion criteria, totaling 20 people. Given treatment vitalization brain gymnastics 16 times, 4 times a week for 4 weeks. Quasi-experimental research is a Group Designs with pre and post test design group designs. For the measurement of cognitive function that is used Digit Span subtest subtes Forward and Backward digit. Test statistical analysis used the Wilcoxon-test. Results. The function of cognition shows the mean pre-exercise 9.15 (± 1.7) and the mean value after gymnastics 15.85 (± 1.13). There is an increase in value of 6.7 Digit span after gymnastics vitalization brain (p <0.05). Conclusions. Gymnastics vitalization brain can improve cognitive function in young adults.

Abstract

The purpose of the study. The purpose of this study was to determine the motivation level of society to sport in the corona virus environment. This type of research is descriptive and qualitative. Materials and methods. The population in this study were the people of Kampar sub-district. this Kampar district has a population of 45.575 people. Sampling in this study using random sampling techniques, namely taking members of the sample randomly from the population. So that the total sample of this study is 50 from Kampar sub-district. The research instrument used through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the percentage of the society level of motivation. Results. Kampar sub-district society to sport in the corona virus environment is included in the value range of 21%-40% or in the low category with a percentage of 37.8%. Conclusions. Based on the results of research in this study, the motivation level of the Kampar sub-district community to exercise in the corona virus environment is in the low category.

Abstract

The purpose of the study This study aims to determine how high the level of training motivation of athletes when carrying out training. The background of this research is the inconsistency level of achievement shown by the Basketball Student Activity Unit, Djuanda University, Bogor. Materials and methods. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach, through descriptive methods using a survey method of the basketball team members consisting of 20 people. Data in the form of questionnaire values ​​on the Likert scale were processed using simple statistics SPSS Version 26 to determine the value of descriptive statistics as the final result of the study. Results. The results showed that the level of motivation of athletes who took part in training at the basketball Student Activity Unit (UKM) at Djuanda University, Bogor was in the moderate majority. This result is based on the consideration that the highest frequency is in the medium criteria of 40%. Motivation of athletes in the criteria is very high by 5%, 20% high, 20% less and 15% very less. Conclusions. The percentage of motivation revealed from this study was dominated by the medium category, with a percentage that was less than the high percentage 25% <35%. This can be taken into consideration to be able to evaluate the psychological training program and mental training of the basketball club athletes for better achievement.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. Arthritis of the joint and hypertension are two conditions that the elderly are prone to face. Both of these conditions affect the movement and function of the human body. The Physiotherapy study program considers it important to continue to provide service to the elderly community in Kelurahan Cawang, which is a fostered area of the Fakultas Vokasi. Materials and methods. Program socialization with health education videos for the elderly exercises for arthritis pain and hypertension were options to continue providing community service during a pandemic. Empowerment of public health agents and families is also carried out to disseminate information about the health of the elderly in terms of hypertension and arthritis pain which are prepared by lecturers of the physiotherapy study program. Results. With the health educational video, the elderly still pay attention to their health even though they are not as effective as usual. Conclusions. As the conclusion, the elderly still felt helped and were enthusiastic about participating in the health educational videos provided by the lecturers.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. This study's purpose is to report on the early stage physiotherapists' intervention on patients with hamstring strains as recommended in the early stage management of sports injuries. Materials and methods. This study is a case report from of a patient who has a hamstring strain with complaints of pain and decreased range of motion of the knee joint. Physiotherapists provide ultrasonic therapy with isometric contraction exercises on the hamstring muscles for 4 sessions for 2 weeks. Results. Ultrasound therapy and isometric contraction exercises increased the range of motion of the knee joint by 60% (active) and 50% (passive). Pain reduction also occurred by 83% for active motion pain and 80% for passive motion pain. Conclusions. The physiotherapy interventions with ultrasonic therapy and isometric contraction exercise therapy is in accordance with the early stage rehabilitation for the case of hamstring strains. With the interventions, the patient experienced a decrease in pain and an increase in Range of Motion from the knee joint.

Abstract

The  purpose  of   the  study. In improving the learning outcomes of shooting in Football games through modification of target exercises for fourth grade students of SDS KARTIKA VIII-2 semester in the 2019/2020 school year. Materials and methods. classroom action research that follows the model of Kemmis and Taggart theory. This study includes 2 cycles where each cycle includes 4 stages, namely planning (planning), acting (implementation), observing (observing), reflecting (reflection). research subjects were 25 students, while data were collected through tests and observations. Results. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in learning outcomes for fourth grade students. This is evidenced by the percentage of fourth grade students who achieve the KKM scores on the Shooting test in a football game in each cycle. In the first cycle = 64%; cycle II = 88%, with the result that the percentage is proven in the first cycle to the second cycle has increased by 24%. Conclusions. Shooting in football games through target practice modification can improve students' shooting skills.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. To determine the effect of medicine ball sit-up throw training on arm and back muscle strength. Materials  and  methods. With the Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design, this sort of study is a true experiment. In this study, 44 male students made up the sample. The arm muscle strength variable was measured using a 60 second push-up test, while the back muscle strength variable was measured using a back and leg dynamometer test instrument. Results. Data were analyzed by independent t test at a significantly smaller level (α) 0.05 with SPSS 16.0 application. Based on the results of independent t-test obtained results; (1) arm muscle strength variable with a significant value of 0.000. (2) Back muscle strength variable with a significant value of 0.010. The calculated significant value is smaller than the value of (0.05) thus the research hypothesis of medicine ball sit up throw training affects the strength of the arm and back muscles "accepted". Conclusions. Thus, it was concluded that medicine ball sit up throw training had a significant effect on arm and back muscle strength in male students. It is recommended for sports teachers, coaches, coaches, and athletes to use arm muscle strength and back muscle strength.
