Abstract

The curriculum applicable in the Indonesian Education System implemented by the government is updated according to needs. The curriculum applies as an independent learning curriculum in the 2013 curriculum. The 2013 curriculum has four aspects of assessment, namely knowledge aspects, skills aspects, attitude aspects, and behaviours. In the 2013 Curriculum, there are streamlined and added materials, especially in the learning materials. The streamlined material is seen in Indonesian, social studies, and PPKn, while mathematics is added. Many of the problems faced in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum are due to several factors as follows: 1) The difficulty of changing the mindset of teachers, 2) Changes in the learning process from teacher-centred to student-centred, 3) low spiritual morals, reading and research culture is still low 4) Lack of IT mastery by teachers 5) weak mastery of the administrative field, 6) tendency of teachers to emphasize more cognitive aspects. For this reason, in this service, they carried out training on applying the siakad online curriculum 2013

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on the joints of the community's economy, people's income has decreased due to limited economic activity in the community. Many people have lost their jobs, decreased income and growing unemployment. One solution that can be done is to develop a home industry, namely the manufacture of frozen food and market it online. With this activity it is hoped that it can increase people's income by only working at home, of course it can help the government in maintaining stability, especially the community's economy and also assist the government in reducing the spread of Covid-19 by keeping a distance or reducing gatherings in crowded places due to activities carried out at home. The implementation of this PkM activity focuses on two things, the first is related to training in producing ready-to-eat frozen food products, and the second is providing training on how to market frozen food products through effective online marketing channels. PkM activities will be attended by 30 housewives in North Konawe Regency

Abstract

The Baduy people basically base their livelihoods on incipient agricultural production and hunting, and the dry land farming system with this type of agriculture only relies on lowland rice. Hunting is also only carried out in confined spaces in conventional forest areas. Wild species, deer, monkeys and honey. Until now the expertise of the Baduy community is still focused on the agricultural sector, hunting and starting to diversify plants, fruits and vegetables for household needs only. With such rapid population growth, which cannot be compared with traditional Baduy rural areas, the Baduy economy is experiencing tremendous pressure. Although the government's efforts above are aimed at finding a way out of all the limitations on the economic resources of the Baduy community, they have not succeeded in significantly increasing the welfare of the majority of the Baduy population. The Baduy community's economic system fully adheres to a market economy with currency as a medium of exchange. Since around 1970, the exchange system has been abandoned except for the limited needs of the clan environment. Although many Baduy people have moved and changed religions, their relationship as great-grandfathers is still well maintained. This real relationship is strengthened in the form of a more specific business relationship

Abstract

This social service discusses cross-cultural communication between the Baduy people and tourists from different cultural backgrounds. The constant meeting of people from different cultural backgrounds affects both sides. The Baduy tribe is one of the tribes that still defends itself from the influence of modernity. They live around the Kendeng Mountains, Kanekes Village, Leuwidamar District, Lebak and Banten Regencies. Tourists from various cultural backgrounds continue to come to visit the Baduy tribe. In a long process, the Baduy tribe has adapted to a situation where their lives are closely related to travelers. However, the proximity and intercultural communication that emerged brought change to the Baduy people, whether they realized it or not. The results of community service during Baduy observation activities and interviews obtained information from outside the Baduy, the Baduy Regional Government, tourists and researchers. Cultural differences between Baduy and tourists can be considered as a fact, and verbal and non-verbal communication is a phenomenon that can be found. This phenomenon is the result of continuous and long-lasting intercultural communication. Some of the existing obstacles change the behavior of the Baduy people

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic gives an impression to the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Semarang City. 1538 SMEs experienced losses of up to 75% and even went bankrupt. It is caused by changes in purchasing priorities from the market, so SMEs must be able to think innovatively to maintain their business. Innovation will be attached to SME products that guarantee business survival. One of them is a catfish nugget product from Atmajaya Pond. Atmajaya Pond is an SME community service program partner that can sell as many as 280 packs monthly, producing 70 kg of fish for nuggets. This figure is relatively high for a home-scale business. The raw material for nuggets is obtained from cultivation through aquaculture, which occupies a limited area beside the house. The products were distributed in Semarang and surrounding areas. Currently, the high-cost burden in the production process is feeding, so making fish feed yourself is a strategic activity to reduce production costs. SME partner now has three root problems: (1) Fails in developing fish feed products because it cannot float. (2) The products need to be more competitive because they are still modest and less eye-catching, and the packaging is not represented as iconic. (3) Processed products owned by partners cannot last long. Thus, the direction of this program will build solutions that solve these problems, such as improving fish feed production, recreating the packaging design, and adding new processed fish products. This strategic program impacts increasing skill by 89.58%, increasing knowledge by 95.83%, and strengthening production by 20%.

Abstract

The tourism industry is a sector that has great potential in driving the economy of a region. To optimize this potential, the use of technology can be an effective alternative. Therefore, this community service aims to develop a technology-based tourism system through an e-tourism website at the Regency-level Tourism, Youth and Sports Office. In the early stages, an analysis of the existing tourism system was carried out and identification of user needs. Then, technology-based system development is carried out through the creation of an e-tourism website that displays information about tourist objects, travel routes, and other supporting services. The use of this technology is expected to provide convenience for tourists in accessing information about tourism at the district level. In addition, the development of e-tourism is also expected to expand the Madiun Regency tourism market by accommodating the needs of tourists who are more inclined to use digital technology in planning their tour trips. Through this community service, it is hoped that the Regency Tourism, Youth and Sports Office can increase the competitiveness of the tourism industry through the use of more modern and effective technology
