Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in developing collaboration skills among students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). This is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The research subjects are fifth-grade students at MI Al-Bukhori Pekanbaru, while the research object is the application of PjBL in teaching and the collaboration skills developed in students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results show that the application of PjBL enhances students' collaboration skills, such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Although challenges like time limitations and students' social skills exist, teacher support and the use of technology help facilitate PjBL implementation. In conclusion, PjBL is an effective approach to developing students' collaboration skills at MI, with proper adjustment and support from educators.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the outdoor learning method in improving elementary school students’ understanding of the environment. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. The subjects are elementary school students, and the object is the outdoor learning method and its impact on environmental understanding. Data were collected through literature review from scholarly journals, books, and academic articles published in the last five years. Data were analyzed using content analysis with a descriptive approach. The results indicate that the outdoor learning method effectively enhances students’ understanding of environmental issues by offering direct experiences and contextual learning that connects theory and practice. Furthermore, this method fosters active student engagement, develops social skills, and cultivates environmental awareness from an early age. In conclusion, outdoor learning is a relevant and strategic approach to environmental education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of learning based on Multiple Intelligences in elementary schools, focusing on its effectiveness and implementation challenges. The research method is qualitative, using library research. The research subjects consist of various academic literatures, such as journals, books, articles, and educational policy documents published in the last five years. The research object includes concepts, theories, and practices of implementing Multiple Intelligences-based learning strategies in elementary schools. Data collection is conducted through systematic literature review, and data analysis uses the interactive analysis model by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The findings reveal that the implementation of this strategy can enhance students' motivation and learning outcomes by accommodating the diversity of intelligences. However, the main challenge faced is the limited understanding of teachers and the available facilities in elementary schools. The study concludes that to optimize the implementation of this strategy, intensive teacher training and adequate technological support are necessary.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze relevant learning theories and develop a learning model based on the needs of early childhood education in the early grades of MI/SD. This research is a library research, with the subjects being various relevant learning theories and the object being the application of these theories in the context of early childhood education. Data collection was carried out through literature studies from various academic sources, while data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis of existing learning theories. The results show that theories such as Piaget, Vygotsky, Bandura, as well as connectionism and behaviorist approaches play a significant role in designing learning that aligns with the needs of early childhood learners. This study concludes that learning based on these theories can enhance cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in children. The developed learning model is expected to be implemented in early-grade MI/SD classrooms to support more effective and contextual early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the storytelling method in Civic Education (PKn) learning to instill national character in elementary school students. The research uses a library research method with the object of study being theories and findings from academic journals related to storytelling in character education, and the subjects are elementary school students. Data were collected through documentation studies of scientific articles, books, and research reports from the last five years. The data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis techniques. The results show that storytelling is effective in instilling national values such as patriotism, tolerance, and unity in Civic Education learning. Students' emotional engagement, teacher creativity in delivering stories, and the relevance of stories to local contexts are supporting factors of this method’s effectiveness. It is concluded that storytelling is a relevant and engaging pedagogical approach for shaping students' national character in elementary schools

Abstract

his study aims to analyze learning strategies based on local wisdom values in Civic Education (PKn) at the elementary school level as an effort to strengthen students’ character and cultural identity. This research employed a library research method with subjects including theories and concepts related to character education and culture-based learning, and the objects consisting of scientific documents, academic journals, and reference books published within the last five years. Data collection techniques involved documentation and literature review, while data analysis used a descriptive-analytical approach. The results indicate that implementing learning strategies integrating local wisdom values such as mutual cooperation, tolerance, and deliberation enhances students’ understanding of national values, fosters mutual respect, and nurtures love for local culture. The study concludes that learning strategies based on local wisdom values are highly relevant and effective for Civic Education in shaping students' character from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) learning in elementary schools and its impact on student engagement and competencies. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The subjects of the study were classroom teachers and students in an elementary school, while the object was the implementation of STEAM-based learning. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify significant patterns in STEAM implementation. The results show that the STEAM approach promotes more active, creative, and collaborative learning. Students demonstrate improved conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Teachers also experienced growth in designing integrative learning strategies. In conclusion, STEAM learning is effectively implemented in elementary schools to enhance learning quality and 21st-century competencies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of digital learning applications such as Quizizz and Kahoot! in the evaluation process of learning in elementary schools. This is a library research study, with the research subject comprising academic studies from the past five years and the research object focusing on the content and context of digital application use for learning assessment. Data collection techniques include documentation and literature review from recent scholarly journals. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive-qualitative methods through identification, classification, and synthesis of findings. The results indicate that Quizizz and Kahoot! effectively enhance student engagement, provide immediate feedback, and create an interactive learning atmosphere. These applications also assist teachers in monitoring student learning progress in real-time and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly. The conclusion of this study suggests that using digital applications in elementary learning evaluation is an innovative approach that positively influences student learning outcomes and motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Environment-Based Learning in shaping environmental awareness and eco-friendly behavior among elementary school students. The research uses a library research method with theories of learning as the subject and academic articles related to environment-based learning in elementary schools as the object. Data were collected through document review of accredited national and international journals published in the last five years. The data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis. The results indicate that implementing environment-based learning approaches such as Problem-Based Learning, project-based learning, and outdoor activities significantly enhances students’ engagement, environmental literacy, and problem-solving skills. The study concludes that the success of environment-based learning implementation strongly depends on teacher preparedness, curriculum support, and community involvement

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan keterampilan menulis huruf hijaiyah pada siswa kelas III MI Darul Ulum Pekanbaru. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari tes awal siswa sehingga hasil yang diperoleh tidak sesuai yang diharapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan metode imla’ dengan bantuan kartu huruf hijaiyah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis huruf hijaiyah pada siswa kelas III MI Darul Ulum Pekanbaru. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan metode imla’ dengan bantuan kartu huruf hijaiyah. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 17 siswa. Pada penelitian ini terdiri atas dua siklus. Agar penelitian tindakan kelas ini berhasil dengan baik tanpa hambatan yanag mengganggu kelancaran penelitian, peneliti menyusun tahapan-tahapan yang dilalui dalam penelitian tindakan kelas yaitu: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) observasi dan refleksi. Data hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan tes dan lembar pedoman observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa penerapan metode imla’ dengan bantuan kartu huruf hijaiyah uantuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis huruf hijaiayah pada siswa kelas III MI Darul Ulum Pekanbaru. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari peningkatan keterampilan menulis huruf hijaiyah yang signitif yaitu pada siklus I pertemuan pertama dengan persentase 52,94% dan siklus I pertemuan kedua dengan persentase 64,70%. Dan pada siklus II pertemuan pertama dengan persentase 70,58% dan pada siklus II pertemuan kedua dengan persentase 82,35% dan mencapai tingkat ketuntasan yang diharapkan.
