Abstract

To face the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Era, students need to master 21st century skills. One of them is mathematical communication skills. It is very important for students to master mathematical communication skills because it will help them connect ideas and concepts with mathematical symbols. This research aims to improve mathematical communication skills through the discovery learning model. This research is classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out in three steps, namely pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2. The research data was collected through tests and observations. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The PTK results show that the discovery learning model can improve students' mathematical communication skills in geometric transformation material. This is proven by obtaining a percentage result of 85% in mathematical communication skills, the indicator of presenting mathematical information or ideas with other forms of representation, and the indicator of composing arguments in solving mathematical problems in the last cycle phase. Apart from that, there was an increase in indicators of analyzing and evaluating mathematical thinking in mathematical communication by 75%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh positif kesiapan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika serta seberapa besar kontribusi kesiapan belajar terhadap perolehan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik. Penelitian ini menerapkan metodologi kuantitatif untuk meneliti variabel dan hubungan antar variabel. Pengumpulan data untuk penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 5 Semarang pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 26 peserta didik dari kelas X-3, yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Peneliti menggunakan tes dan angket sebagai instrumen penelitian, dan data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana yang terdiri dari uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis. Peneliti menggunakan software SPSS 25 untuk melakukan analisis statistik data penelitian, yaitu uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa peserta didik dengan kesiapan belajar yang tinggi memiliki hasil belajar matematika yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan peserta didik yang memiliki kesiapan belajar yang rendah atau dapat dikatakan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara kesiapan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa 45,3% hasil belajar matematika siswa dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

The ability to think logically has a very important role in the learning process, because high logical thinking abilities can guide students to solve problems accurately and purposefully. Logic material is a type of mathematical material that prioritizes logical thinking in every problem solution. Students often experience confusion when solving logic problems, even though logic material is material that does not use number calculations, students often do not understand logic problems which results in low learning grades. This research was conducted on 50 grade 11 students at Mandiri Palembang High School. The aim of this research is to see how much influence students' logical thinking abilities have in solving mathematical logic problems. Statistical testing in this study used simple regression analysis by conducting a t test using the SPSS 26.00 application. Data collection in this study used tests in the form of questions to measure students' thinking abilities in solving logical problems. The research results show that the t value > t tabel is 2.963 which is greater than the t tabel of 1.993. This shows that there is an influence on grade 11 students' logical thinking abilities on their ability to solve logical problems.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development process, product validity, and student response to the development of LKPD Mathematical Representation Based On Project Based Learning For Class IV Elementary Schools. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods using a 4D model consisting of, Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. Data analysis on is carried out based on expert assessment and learner responses. Data assessment Using Likert scale and Guttman scale. The subject of this study was class IV/B SDN Benda 2 with a total of 20 students for the 2023/2024 school year. The results of this study are in the form of LKPD products PjBL-Based Mathematical Representations for Grade IV Elementary Schools. Validation in product development is seen in terms of material, language, and design with an average score of 88% with the criteria of "very feasible" and can be tested to students. The results of students' responses to LKPD product development obtained a score of 91% with the criterion "very good”. From the results of validation and student response, the PjBL-Based Mathematical Representation LKPD product for Grade IV Elementary School can be said to be very feasible and good for use in learning activities.

Abstract

Student perception is the way students see in summarizing the various information obtained while interpreting it so that it forms a mindset towards various phenomena that occur. Student perceptions are divided into four dimensions, namely internal, external, knowledge, and benefit dimensions. This study aims to determine student perceptions of mathematics teaching modules implemented in the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method used is descriptive research using a quantitative approach. This study involved seventh grade students. Data were collected through student response questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study are that the internal dimension is in the good category with a result of 71.2%. In the external dimension, the result is 71.4% which is included in the good category. In the knowledge dimension, the result is 71.3% which is included in the good category. In the benefit dimension, the result is 70.9% which is included in the good category. The results show that from the four dimensions of perception show that students have a good perception of the use of the independent curriculum teaching module used in daily mathematics learn.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the stages of student problem solving based on the Polya stages in circle material. Based on these objectives, this research is included in descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was carried out on class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Semarang selected using purposive sampling. The subjects chosen in this research were 6 students, consisting of two students with low initial abilities, two students with medium initial abilities, and two students with high initial abilities. The data used was verified using source triangulation. The results of this research show: 1) S-5 and S-6 subjects with low initial abilities were able to understand the problem, were less able to prepare a resolution plan, were less able to carry out the resolution plan, and were less able to re-examine. 2) S3 and S-4 subjects with moderate initial abilities were able to understand the problem even though S-3 subjects had not written down what was asked in the problem, were able to prepare a solution plan, were less able to carry out the solution plan, and were less able to recheck. 3) S-1 and S-2 subjects with high initial abilities are able to understand the problem, less able to prepare a resolution plan, less able to carry out the resolution plan, and less able to re-examine.

Abstract

The Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD), is the annual financial plan of regional governments in Indonesia which is approved by the Regional People's Representative Council. The APBD is determined by Regional Regulations and the APBD Fiscal Year covers a period of one year, starting from January 1 to December 31. This research aims to determine the grouping of activities from highest to lowest using the Activity Based Costing (ABC) method calculation. The research results show two analyzes, namely analysis in the sub-activities section and analysis in the operations expenditure section. The data used is Quantitative Data, which is data in the form of numbers or nominal data, data in the form of the Medan City BAPPEDA Budget Realization Report . Qualitative data is data that is not in the form of numbers or nominal, data in the form of direct observations from BAPPEDA Medan City regarding the implementation of the APBD. Data obtained from PERWAL APBD 2022 BAPPEDA Section is the total budget amount of Rp. 27,307,689,269 with 3 general activities, 12 sub-activities and 48 total operational expenditures.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' mathematical creative thinking abilities on the topic of circles. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The research instruments consist of essay tests covering indicators of creative thinking, interviews, and documentation. The subjects selected for this study were students of class XI-10 at SMA Negeri 2 Semarang, from whom 2 students representing each category of creative thinking ability were selected for analysis of their work. The basis for selecting these subjects is through the interpretation of scores on the creative thinking ability test obtained in the form of percentages according to their qualifications. Data were analyzed qualitatively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was ensured using method triangulation. The research results indicate that among the class XI-10 students in this study, there are 2 students with creative thinking abilities in the creative category fulfilling 3 out of the total 4 indicators. There are 2 students with creative thinking abilities in the fairly creative category who fulfill 2 indicators. Meanwhile, among students with creative thinking abilities in the less creative category, there is 1 student who only fulfills 1 indicator and 1 student who does not fulfill all indicators.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are abilities that must be developed and possessed by someone in an investigation that involves six indicators of Interpretation, Analysis, Evaluation, Inference, Explanation, and Self-Regulation. This study aims to describe students' critical thinking skills in solving math problems. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative where this method is used in analyzing students' critical thinking skills. The subjects in this study were SMA Negeri 2 Semarang class XI-9 students totaling 36 students, 26 female students and 10 male students, after consideration, the subjects were taken based on the level of ability in answering questions high, medium, and low. Techniques in data collection are observation, tests and interviews. Data validity uses triangulation techniques and the analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results in this study that there are differences in students' critical thinking skills in solving mathematical problems where high level students are able to fulfill the indicators of six indicators optimally. Medium level students are able to fulfill four indicators less optimally. The low level is only able to achieve a few and not optimal.

Abstract

Mahasiswa pendidikan matematika sering menghadapi tantangan besar dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas akademik, baik dalam memahami teori matematis maupun dalam menerapkan konsep-konsep tersebut dalam situasi nyata. Teknologi AI, melalui alat-alat seperti perangkat lunak pembelajaran yang cerdas, sistem tutor adaptif, dan analisis data berbasis AI, dapat menawarkan dukungan yang sangat berharga. Kemampuan AI untuk memberikan umpan balik yang real-time, personalisasi pembelajaran, serta akses ke sumber daya pendidikan yang luas, dapat mempercepat pemahaman dan meningkatkan kinerja akademik mahasiswa. Dalam jurnal ini, kami bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai manfaat yang dapat diperoleh dari penerapan AI dalam penyelesaian tugas-tugas akademik oleh mahasiswa pendidikan matematika. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Artificial Intelegence itu berpengaruh dalam upaya penyelesaian tugas mahasiswa pendidikan matematika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Al Washliyah Medan. Hal ini dapat ditunjukan dari hasil akademik yang didapat mahasiswa dan motivasi dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas yang di berikan dosen. Namun, tidak semua AI dapat diakses secara gratis, masih banyak AI yang harus berbayar dalam penggunaannya.
