Abstract

Wisma Athlete is an inn owned by the North Sumatra Provincial Government which is managed by the North Sumatra Youth and Sports Service. Currently, the room reservation process at the athlete's guesthouse is still done manually, guests must come directly to the guesthouse to obtain information and make a reservation. This has problems for the guests and the athletes' guesthouse in terms of time, costs and lack of marketing at the guesthouse. The purpose of this research is to create an Android-based room reservation information system at the Athlete's Guesthouse that can help with this problem. In creating the information system using the Waterfall development method and Unified Modeling Language (UML) tools and in building this information system using the JavaScript programming language, the Veu JS 2.0 framework, and the MySQL database. The result of this research is an Android-based room reservation application. The application that was built can be used as a means so that the general public can find out that at the DISPORASU athlete's guesthouse, not only athletes can make reservations at that place but the general public can also stay at the guesthouse. This application also helps guests to get room information, facilities in the guest house easily, make room reservations online without having to come directly to the guest house and can order food without having to come to the cafeteria in the guest house. This application also helps DISPORASU in managing rooms and helps increase profitability at the guest house

Abstract

Printing is an industry or service that serves the process of transferring designs in the form of text or images to print media using specialized machines. Jalanpintas.art is one of the printing service providers in Sidoarjo, but currently, they still operate manually. One of the frequent issues encountered is the inconvenience for customers in using the printing service, as they have to visit the physical location, which takes time, and then return to pick up the finished products on another day. Additionally, there are problems related to recording and calculation errors, document archiving, and time-consuming report generation. Therefore, the author has designed a web-based print product ordering information system with the aim of facilitating prospective customers in the ordering process and also serving as a promotional tool for Jalanpintas.art. The method used in this research is the Waterfall method. The Waterfall method is an approach in software development that consists of a series of steps, namely analysis, design, coding implementation, testing, and maintenance. The outcome of this research is the development of a web-based print product ordering information system. This system can be accessed and used by potential customers to place orders for print products

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Information Technology (IT) has significantly impacted various sectors and presented increasingly complex challenges. Digital Transformation (DT) has become crucial for incumbent companies to survive and remain competitive in this digital era. However, many TD investments have failed, necessitating adequate Information Technology Management Governance (ITMG) for achieving company objectives. Previous research has shown the importance of hybrid traditional ITMG with agile practices. However, the design of agile ITMG needs further refinement as a reference for implementation. InsurCo is a state-owned enterprise that is obligated to implement ITMG based on the PER-2/MBU/03/2023 regulation, as well as accelerate DT in line with the direction of the Master Plan for the Financial Services Sector 2021-2025. The research method used is design science research based on interview data and document triangulation. The prioritization of agile ITMG objectives is based on design factors, COBIT 2019 DevOps Focus Area, and previous ITMG mechanisms for digital transformation. Three selected priority objectives of agile ITMG are DSS05 (Managed Security Services), APO01 (Managed I&T Management Framework), and BAI10 (Managed Configuration), which are evaluated based on seven ITMG components. Recommendations are generated using three aspects: people, process, and technology, with an estimated increase in InsurCo’s ITMG capability of 7.66%. This study contributes to the knowledge

Abstract

Travel planning popularized by influencers sparks audiences to review destinations based on image and attractiveness before designing a trip alone, with family, with friends, or as a couple. This research offers ideas to analyze the sentiment of travelers who use hotel accommodation services in Makassar based on Tripadvisor website review data. The method used is the Cross-Industry Standard Procedure for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) with the following stages: business understanding stage, data understanding stage, data preparation stage, modeling stage, evaluation stage, and deployment stage. The results of this study show that the business understanding stage shows the importance of identifying and analyzing tourist behavior related to the assessment of location, cleanliness, service, and hotel value as a strategic step to develop a hotel imaging program to attract tourists with guest characteristics (solo, couple, business, family). The data understanding stage refers to the features processed according to the CRISP-DM method and supporting data for analysis and discussion of the context of Tripadvisor's Top 10 recommended hotels in Makassar. At the data preparation stage, the amount of text data that has been processed using the Decision Tree (DT) algorithm and Support Vector Machine  (SVM) is 1,138 through data pre-processing (tokenize, transform cases, filter tokens by length, stopwords, stemming). At the modeling stage, the algorithm that shows the best performance is SVM, with an accuracy value of 98.98%, a precision value of 100%, a recall value of 97.96%, an f-measure discount of 98.97%, and an AUC value of 100%. At the evaluation stage, it can be seen that the classification of reviews is dominant on positive sentiment compared to negative sentiment. Thus, the recommendation for the deployment stage is optimizing products and services related to room amenities, room features, room type, cleanliness, service, value, and location.

Abstract

Printing is a complex industry with processes involving many variables and stages. In this context, it is important to have an effective tool to monitor and manage printing product orders. Dashboard monitoring with a key performance indicator (KPI) approach can be the right solution for monitoring operational performance and identifying areas that need improvement. This study aims to create a KPI-based monitoring dashboard for printing product orders that is relevant to business goals. The current printing order process, transaction records and order results are still being processed using manual methods. Summarized in the order recap sheet made by the cashier every month. The process of analysis of achievement for ordering so far has not been carried out. From the analysis process that has not been carried out, there are obstacles including making the printing press not know the bidding position directly, the number of orders for each printing product whether it reaches the order target or not. His suggestion is to make an order monitoring dashboard to be able to see which position the target is in and what position the current offer is in. The most effective solution to find out is the Monitoring Dashboard for Printing Product Orders with the Key Performance Indicator Approach). The goal is to make it easier for the owner to meet the orders used, namely the concept of the KPI approach. The dashboard monitoring of orders aims to monitor the achievement of printing targets. The methodology used in this study includes the stages of Business Justification, Business Drivers, Business Issues Analysis, Cost-Benefit Analysis, and Risk Assessment. The needs analysis process involves engaging KPIs that are relevant to ordering printing products, based on the company's deep understanding of business processes and goals. Dashboard design involves selecting metrics, setting up informative visual displays,. The developed dashboard provides an overview of printing product orders as a whole. This KPI approach in dashboard monitoring provides significant benefits for printing companies. By monitoring orders through relevant metrics, companies can identify and implement process improvements needed to increase order efficiency, and improve product quality. In addition, this dashboard can also find out if you don't know the position of the offer directly or the number of orders for each printing product whether it reaches the order target or not. You can use this dashboard to monitor orders to be able to see between the target and the current advertising conditions which position is in the right place. set on accurate and up-to-date data.

Abstract

Security is a system for carrying out prevention on a network that can be done using various methods, such as firewalls, port scanning, and DDoS. A firewall is a security system that can open or close certain port access through the firewall on the router according to the role that is built. One of the network security methods applied to Mikrotik Router OS is Port Knocking, which opens or closes certain port access through the firewall on the router according to the role that is built. However, a common problem that is often experienced in the provision of internet services such as the security network of the Tapangpass Cafe network is the problem of access rights. Several problems are encountered such as the need for internet in network security, so there is concern about hacking on the proxy network, therefore researchers will conduct an analysis on network security at Tangpass Cafe. Using the Security policy development life cycle method, then the results of this analysis researchers apply firewall network security from port scanning and denial of service attacks. The test results on the Tapangpass Café Mikrotik network are vulnerable to attack gaps, so security is needed on the firewall rules, Secure Routerboard RB941-2nD Settings, Periodic testing on the network used, and Upgrade the Operating System on Mikrotik

Abstract

The decision support model is essential in helping passengers choose which tourist attractions and lodging facilities to use. However, creating systems for prioritizing institutional programs remains the sole focus of research into decision-support models.Considering this, this study offers ideas to analyze the Simple Additive Weighting  (SAW) decision support model as a support for hotel stay decisions based on data from the top 10 traveler-ranked hotels in Makassar City as follows: Claro Makassar; The Rinra Makassar, Swiss-Belhotel Makassar; Novotel Makassar Grand Shayla; Almadera Hotel; Dalton Hotel Makassar; MaxOneHotels @Resort Makassar; Ibis Makassar City Center; Harper Perintis-Makassar; Aryaduta Makassar. The criteria set out in this study are divided into two parts: standards based on the availability of room rooms (property amenities, room features, and room types) and hotel guest ratings (location, cleanliness, services, value). The categories and weights of values based on room availability are as follows: property amenities are categorized as the cost with a weight of 0.50; Room feature is ranked as the cost with a weight of 0.25; room type is classified as the cost with a weight of 0.25. In addition, the categories and weights of values based on guest ratings are as follows: location is categorized as benefit with a weight of 0.20; cleanliness is categorized benefit with a weight of 0.25; Service is categorized benefit with a weight of 0.30, and value is classified as cost with a weight of 0.25. The results of this study show that the ranking can be categorized into two, namely, based on room availability and hotel guest ratings. Based on room availability criteria (property amenities, room features, and room type), Novotel Makassar Grand Shayla ranks first with a total value of  0.85, and Ibis Makassar City Center Hotel ranks second with a total value of 0.75. Based on the assessment of hotel guest rating criteria (location, cleanliness, services, value), Arya Duta Hotel ranks first with a total value of 0.94, and Almadera Hotel ranks second with a total value of 0.88. Thus, accommodation services can be recommended to guests based on room availability (property amenities, room features, and room type) or guest ratings (location, cleanliness, services, value) in the top 10 traveler-ranked hotels in Makassar City.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the inventory management of animal food stocks at Endman Petshop by implementing Mamdani fuzzy logic. In recent years, the petshop industry has experienced rapid growth, making inventory stock management increasingly important to efficiently meet customer demands. The input variables used in this study include Sold Goods, Demand, Price per Item, and Profit, while the output variable is Stock. Sales data from the top five products at Endman Petshop over the course of a year serve as the basis for developing the Mamdani fuzzy logic model. By implementing the Mamdani fuzzy logic method using MATLAB software, the research results demonstrate that the application of Mamdani fuzzy logic can help optimize animal food stock inventory. Considering the fluctuating variability of demand, price, and profit, this model assists Endman Petshop in making more accurate decisions in stock inventory management. This research contributes significantly to enhancing operational efficiency and profitability for Endman Petshop, offering practical solutions to address challenges in increasingly complex inventory management. As part of a continuously evolving industry, this research becomes a relevant reference for petshop practitioners and business owners in optimizing stock inventory and better meeting customer demands. The research findings indicate a significant improvement in operational efficiency and profitability for Endman Petshop. The results show that the implementation of the Mamdani fuzzy logic method can reduce inefficient stock inventory

Abstract

This research aims to develop an e-Rapor application based on the 2013 Curriculum using the Extreme Programming (XP) method as a solution to address the issues in manually processing student grades with Microsoft Excel. The application is expected to assist teachers in managing student grades more quickly and efficiently while minimizing the potential for human errors. The selection of the XP method is based on its suitability for small to medium-sized development teams and its ability to adapt to rapid changes in requirements. The research findings indicate that the e-Rapor application was successfully implemented and tested using the black box testing method, achieving a 100% success rate. Further testing with the System Usability Scale (SUS) method yielded a score of 74.94, indicating that the application is well-received by users. The e-Rapor Curriculum 2013 Web-based application provides convenience to homeroom teachers and subject teachers in inputting grades, presenting data, and generating student grade reports. With the availability of this application, it is expected that the process of handling student grades will become more efficient and effective. The web-based nature of the application allows users to access student grade information online, anytime and anywhere

Abstract

A computer teacher is a teacher who provides a knowledge in which the knowledge leads to the field of computers. Teachers who master computer science are needed in every school because this knowledge is very difficult to understand if no one guides them. However, the more teachers in the computer field, the more difficult it is to know which teacher is the best with innovation and creativity in that field. So with that the writer needs 4 criteria in order to solve a problem that often occurs. These criteria include Education, Teaching Experience, Mastery of Computer Science, and Discipline. So in this research a helper system is really needed to solve the problems that occur in the research. The system referred to as an auxiliary tool in problem solving is the Decision Support System (DSS) which can be assisted in completing a calculation using the MOORA and WASPAS methods. So, in determining the best computer teacher using the MOORA method, Adian was chosen with a total score of 0.49347, while Adian was chosen with the WASPAS method with a total score of 1.00000.
