Abstract

The development of information technology has the potential to affect the operational level and complexity of human tasks. The success of an organization or company in achieving its set goals is highly dependent on the readiness of its human resources. The role of employees in a company or agency is very vital, because those who meet the needs of organizational skills can increase overall productivity. Therefore, a computer system is needed to meet these information needs, namely a decision support system (DSS). In this study, researchers conducted research on employee performance using the TOPSIS method and used several existing criteria, namely responsibility, discipline, neatness, cooperation and honesty which are expected to help in determining good employee research and can be applied in institutions or companies. Based on the research that has been done, the highest result is obtained by the value of 0.672 On behalf of Erina as the employee with the highest score

Abstract

Laptops are currently one of the basic needs that are growing to become electronic devices that are widely used by the public. Laptops have various features and specifications that support graphic design activities. Supportive laptops can influence studying the field of graphic design because laptops that have specifications that are appropriate to activities will facilitate and support activities, whereas if you use a laptop that does not have the appropriate specifications, it will hinder activities and not even be able to carry out these activities. Users who want to learn about graphic design are confused about choosing the best graphic design laptop from the many choices of laptops currently available. In determining the decision to choose the best suitable graphic design laptop, it must be able to meet the criteria, including Processor, RAM, Hard Drive, VGA Type, VGA Capacity, Weight and Price. Because of this problem, a system is needed that can solve existing problems, namely a decision support system by combining the ENTROPY and WASPAS (Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment) methods which aim to obtain the value and preference weight of the first ranking alternative. So that the recommendation for a graphic design laptop is the RAZER BLADE 15 ADVANCED which is in the A4 alternative with the first recommendation with the highest score of 3.79720

Abstract

Childbirth is the process of delivering a baby, placenta, and amniotic sac from the uterus to the outside world. According to data from the World Health Organization, there are at least 303 thousand women worldwide who die on the verge of or during the childbirth process. Childbirth methods can vary, it could be through normal delivery or cesarean delivery, which are usually based on the health conditions of the mother and baby. Therefore, the selection of the appropriate childbirth method can increase the safety of the mother and baby. Hence, through this research, childbirth methods need to be examined more deeply with the aim of finding out what factors influence them, and then determine the childbirth method based on those factors. In grouping childbirth methods based on childbirth factors, a data mining method is used, namely classification. The Decision Tree C4.5 method is used in this research because of its ability to produce a classification model that is easy to understand and interpret. This model is built based on historical data from Banyuasin Regional General Hospital that includes various health variables and childbirth methods. Testing was conducted using childbirth method data from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. This research produced 20 decision branch patterns or rules that form the basis for determining the label or class data with an accuracy rate of 99.26%.

Abstract

In the competitive business world, new companies emerge and each company strives to improve the quality of customer service to maintain their business. However, in motorbike workshops today, services are still manually performed by one mechanic for one customer, taking a considerable amount of time. This can lead to customer dissatisfaction if there are queue jumpers, causing customers to cancel the desired services. To enhance the quality of the company, it is important to leverage technological advancements, develop new systems, and provide accurate information. This research utilizes the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and the First In First Out (FIFO) algorithm to develop an application rapidly through iterative and repetitive feedback processes. The application is designed to meet the needs of users, features, and necessary workflows. Application testing is conducted to ensure the proper functioning of the designed and implemented features. The results of the design and testing indicate that this application can facilitate motorbike workshops in developing scheduling systems for motor vehicle services. Consequently, the use of RAD and FIFO algorithm in this application's development is expected to enhance efficiency and service quality in motorbike workshops, while providing convenience in scheduling vehicle services for customers

Abstract

This study was carried out on the Human Centric Engineering (HUMIC) website, which had not previously undergone redesign approaches such as User-Centered Design (UCD), Goal-Directed Design (GDD), or similar methods. Following the initial usability assessment utilizing the Single Ease Question (SEQ) encompassing 7 tasks to gauge the simplicity or complexity of the tested activities, along with the System Usability Scale (SUS) containing 10 queries for evaluating usability, the interim average SEQ score achieved was 5.5 out of 7. Meanwhile, the average SUS score was 43, falling below the typical score of 68. Based on the interview results with HUMIC website users, it was found that users felt uncomfortable when accessing the website due to a non-responsive user interface on smartphone screens, indicating the need for a redesign of the website's user interface. This article’s aims are to enhance HUMIC website’s user interface for better usability using the UCD approach, encompassing user engagement throughout the entire procedure. Following the redesign of the user interface, the ultimate test outcomes exhibited an average SEQ score of 6.4 out of 7 and an average SUS score of 80.5, surpassing the typical score of 68. Consequently, it can be inferred that the application of the UCD method led to a successful user interface redesign with enhanced usability, fostering a comfortable user experience when navigating the HUMIC website.

Abstract

Examinations are one way to evaluate the teaching and learning process in schools. Typically, school exams are still conducted conventionally using paper and writing materials, and grading is done directly by teachers. With the rapid development of information technology, some conventional systems have transitioned to computerized ones, including educational services such as online exams. Currently, the government mandates Computer-Based National Examinations (UNBK) for high schools (SMA/SMK/MA). Additionally, some national standard school exams known as USBN have adopted Computer-Based Test (CBT) systems. However, SMA PKP JIS still employs conventional methods for exams, which are considered less efficient given the current technological advancements. Manual processes for exam creation, duplication, evaluation, and answer sheet filling lead to various challenges, including high costs, lost answer sheets, and potential question leaks. Hence, this study aims to develop an online exam application using the Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) method based on a website. The LCG-based online exam application has been successfully created for SMA PKP JIS, providing a more efficient and paper-saving exam experience. Through testing using the blackbox testing method, this application has been proven to run well and according to its functionality. Its ability to facilitate the exam process efficiently makes it the right solution for PKP JIS High School. The score obtained from testing using the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method is 329 or in the form of a percentage of 82.25% and is included in the "Very Feasible" category. Thus, this LCG Algorithm-based online exam application is ready to be used as an alternative to conventional exams at PKP JIS High School to improve the quality and efficiency of education

Abstract

Improving the quality of life and ensuring equitable development are the primary focuses of the government in realizing a smart village (smart village). Facing increasingly complex development challenges, the integration between the Developing Village Index and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) becomes vital to achieving sustainable development goals at the village level. This study investigates the implementation of Smart Village within the dimension of Smart Living, taking into account the Developing Village Index and the SDGs. The TOGAF ADM 9.2 framework is utilized as a guideline to design and implement information technology (IT) solutions based on sustainable development objectives and the needs of the village community. In this research, the stages of the TOGAF ADM 9.2 framework are employed to analyze the needs and sustainable development objectives in the village, identify the appropriate IT architecture and design applications and technology infrastructure to support the implementation of Smart Village. The result of this study is a holistic and integrated IT architecture design for a Smart Village within the Smart Living dimension, capable of bridging the development gap and achieving sustainable development at the village level. The implementation of Smart Village, focusing on the Developing Village Index and SDGs, has the potential to deliver positive impacts in enhancing the quality of life of the village community, increasing access to public services, and fostering village development.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is an important thing that is the company's goal. Whether you realize it or not, customer opinions written on social media, a little or a lot, will have an impact on potential customers. In its development, sentiment is increasingly easy to find in various online media, one of which is shopee. Product reviews are a very important source of information related to product quality and are very influential, both for consumers and producers. With a large amount of data for each product in the Shopee store, analyzing and concluding product review information will definitely take a lot of time if done manually. To overcome this, a sentiment analysis system is needed that can automatically extract important information that can objectively determine product quality and handle large textual information. The sentiment analysis system consists of several stages, namely crawling, pre-processing, word weighting, and sentiment classification. By applying the Naïve Bayes algorithm through the selection of range and frequency features, accuracy, accuracy and recall results will be obtained using the Confusion Matrix test. The API is used to collect data and perform simulations using data reviews on the Shopee website to generate positive and negative sentiments. The test will display the results of the percentile values for accuracy and retrieval. From the test results obtained results of accuracy of 99.5%, precision of 99.49%, recall of 100%. Thus it can be concluded that the classification method of the Naïve Bayes algorithm is quite relevant even though the accuracy is not yet 100%. The results of this study can provide solutions for Shopee stores to improve the quality of their sales.

Abstract

Advances in information technology are currently encouraging the Government of Indonesia to implement an electronic-based government system (SPBE) at the central and regional levels in order to increase efficiency in providing services to the public. Bapenda of West Java Province through the Revenue Information System Management Sector as a work unit that has an important role in managing applications and data that supports the creation of integrated services, is one of the agencies that has contributed to increasing the SPBE index value of West Java Province. Enterprise architecture design activities in this study will focus on the domains of business processes, services, data, applications, opportunities and solutions, and migration planning. This activity will produce an EA blueprint and IT Roadmap which can be used as a reference in developing application support services and optimizing planning and improving business processes

Abstract

Currently, cloud computing (Cloud Computing) plays an important role in the development of technology. because the problem of data storage is always a problem. Cloud computing is a client-server model where resources such as servers, storage, networks and software are considered as services that can be accessed by users anytime and anywhere. Organizations or companies can use this information technology service to run their business in a way that is easier for users. Today, there are many cloud computing platforms available, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is one of the largest cloud service providers in the world with the highest run rate of almost USD 10 billion. Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and Simple Storage Service (S3) are two cloud computing technologies provided by Amazon Web Service (AWS). Hosting a NICHE BLOG site is one way Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and Simple Storage Service (S3) are used together. These various cloud computing services make it possible to store, manage and display content in an effective and efficient manner. The closing of this research is a blog post that runs on Amazon Web Services Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2). This research aims to explain the role of Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and Simple Storage Service (S3) in blog posts using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method.
