Abstract

Abstract

The protectionist policies implemented by the United States under Donald Trump, particularly through impor tariffs on trading partners, including Indonesia, have created uncertainty in global trade. These tariff increases will disrupt the economic stability of partner countries, including Indonesia. The impact can be reflected in fiscal stability, monetary stability, and the resilience of the financial sector, particularly Islamic finance. Therefore, this study aims to analyze how US tariff policy impacts these three pillars of economic stability using VAR and VECM methods. Data used ranges from 2016 to 2025. Overall, the VAR model estimation results indicate that all variables have a long-term relationship. Therefore, the VECM model, measured by the error correction term (ECT), estimates the impact of Trump's import tariffs on fiscal, monetary, and Islamic financial stability indicators. The variables with significant effects are state budget deficit, government debt, rupiah exchange rate, foreign exchange reserves, Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI), and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR). Meanwhile, the variables with insignificant effects are state revenue, inflation, and Non Performing Financing (NPF). Furthermore, in the short term, the variables with significant effects are all fiscal stability variables (state revenue, state budget deficit, government debt), and Islamic financial stability (ISSI and FDR). The variables with insignificant effects are monetary stability variables (rupiah exchange rate, inflation, foreign exchange reserves) and Islamic financial stability (NPF).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of working capital financing provided by BMT Artha Yappi in improving the performance of Putra Tambak Rejo Furniture as a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) in the furniture sector. The method used a descriptive qualitative approach and case study design, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that working capital financing of IDR 40 million with a Murabahah contract was effectively allocated for the purchase of modern sanding machines and additional raw materials. The implementation of this financing had a significant impact on improving business performance, as evidenced by a 50% increase in production capacity (from 10 to 15 sets/month) and a 40% increase in monthly turnover (from IDR 50 million to IDR 70 million). This success was not only driven by capital factors, but also reinforced by the role of BMT Artha Yappi in providing intensive technical and managerial assistance.

Abstract

The growth of the Islamic banking industry in Indonesia in recent years shows a trend that is increasing quite significantly. One of the important indicators in fundraising activities at Islamic banks is mudharabah deposits which are profit-sharing-based investment products. The growth of mudharabah deposits is inseparable from the condition of the bank's financial performance as measured through several financial ratios. This study aims to analyze the effect of Return on Asset (ROA), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) on mudharabah deposits in Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia for the 2020–2024 period. This study uses a quantitative approach and the data used is secondary data in the form of annual financial statements of Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia. The population in this study is all Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia, while the research sample was determined using purposive sampling techniques based on certain criteria. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS application. The results of the study showed that partially Return on Asset (ROA) had a significant effect on mudharabah deposits, while Non-Performing Financing (NPF) and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) had no effect on mudharabah deposits. Simultaneously, ROA, NPF, and FDR have no significant effect on mudharabah deposits. The value of the determination coefficient showed that the independent variable was able to explain the variation in mudharabah deposits by 61.6%, while the rest was influenced by other variables outside the study. These findings indicate that profitability factors have an important role in increasing public interest in mudharabah deposit products, while financing and liquidity risks are not the main considerations.

Abstract

This study examines the mediating role of customer engagement in the relationships between social media content quality, influencer credibility, and purchase intention toward MSME products in West Java. In digital marketing, platforms such as Instagram and TikTok have become important promotional channels for MSMEs, making content quality and influencer credibility key factors shaping consumer responses. This study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through an online questionnaire from 200 respondents in West Java who actively use Instagram or TikTok, had seen MSME promotions in the last three months, and had been exposed to influencer-based promotions. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that social media content quality and influencer credibility have positive and significant effects on customer engagement and purchase intention. Customer engagement also positively influences purchase intention and significantly mediates the effects of social media content quality and influencer credibility on purchase intention, indicating partial mediation. Social media content quality has the strongest effect on customer engagement, while influencer credibility has the strongest direct effect on purchase intention. These findings highlight the importance of content quality, credible influencers, and customer engagement in improving MSME marketing effectiveness.
