This research looks at how social media, impulse buying, and knowledge about Islamic finance affect the choice to use Shopee PayLater among Muslim students studying Accounting at Medan State Polytechnic. The study used a quantitative approach with 100 participants chosen on purpose. The findings revealed that individually, social media, impulse buying, and Islamic financial knowledge each had a positive and significant impact on the choice to use Shopee PayLater. Together, these three factors also showed a significant effect. This means that how much students engage with digital media, their tendency to buy things on impulse, and their understanding of Islamic finance play important roles in their decisions about using PayLater services.

Abstract

The study aims to explain the basic concept of LJKK, its differences from conventional financial institutions, its operational systems, and the legal framework governing its activities. The research method uses a descriptive approach through literature review enriched by field observations and interviews with PNM. The results indicate that PNM plays a strategic role in empowering micro-enterprises, particularly underprivileged women, through collateral-free financing, group mechanisms, and business mentoring. PNM's operations are also supported by digital risk assessment (CCM) technology and intensive post-disbursement field supervision. The legal analysis reveals several regulatory gaps, particularly regarding the legality of joint liability mechanisms, algorithmic accountability, and consumer protection for vulnerable groups. Overall, the empirical findings on PNM demonstrate how LJKK functions not only as a financing institution but also as a development instrument capable of reaching sectors not served by conventional financial institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of pre-order sales of K-pop merchandise in the Wonderland Group Order from the perspective of Islamic commercial jurisprudence (fiqh muamalah). The researcher employed a qualitative descriptive method, collecting data through interviews with group administrators, consumers, as well as experts in Islamic jurisprudence and Islamic economics. The results show that the pre-order transaction system implemented in this group aligns with the principles of Islamic law, particularly the salam contract. In this contract, the specifications of the goods are clearly agreed upon, and payment is made either partially or fully in advance, with the goods delivered at a predetermined future time. Although the transactions are carried out digitally, the essential elements of ijab (offer) and qabul (acceptance) are fulfilled, making the transaction valid according to Islamic law.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of religiosity on Muslim consumption behavior, as well as the role of social media as a moderating variable. An associative quantitative method was used with a sample of 150 Gen-Z respondents in Bandar Lampung City. Data analysis was performed using SEM-PLS to test the outer and inner models. The results show that religiosity has a significant positive effect on consumption behavior. Meanwhile, social media does not have a significant moderating effect on the relationship between variables. Therefore, Gen-Z consumption patterns pay more attention to religious commitment than social media information. Implicitly, this emphasizes the importance of religiosity as an effective strategy in Muslim consumption behavior, thereby contributing to the development of sharia economic theory and value-based education and business practices.

Abstract

One of the supporting factors of monetary policy that can support the profitability of Islamic banks in Indonesia is inflation, interest rates, net performing finanace (NPF). Profitability utilizes Return on Assets (ROA) as the main indicator of bank financial performance. Inflation reflects the general level of price increases that can affect people's purchasing power, while interest rates reflect the cost of borrowing that impacts economic activity. NPF is utilized to indicate the quality of Islamic banking and the credit risk it faces. Inflation has a significant positive impact on the profitability of Islamic banks, which reflects that inflation can improve bank performance through an increase in people's purchasing power and an increase in operating costs. Interest rates have a negative influence on the profitability of Islamic banks because as sharia-based financial institutions, Islamic banks are in principle not directly affected by interest rates, suggesting an indirect relationship with adjustments to the level of Islamic financing. Meanwhile, NPF shows a significant positive effect on Profitability, indicating that increased financing risk reduces the bank's ability to generate profits.

Abstract

This study analyzes the financing restructuring policy at BMT Assyafi’iyah Berkah Nasional KC Metro in response to force majeure events, such as natural disasters and significant business downturns. These conditions can reduce members’ ability to meet their obligations and increase the risk of Non-Performing Financing (NPF). The study aims to assess how the restructuring policy is implemented and how effective it is in assisting affected members. A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that restructuring is carried out selectively through internal evaluation and board approval, effectively easing members’ burdens, maintaining business continuity, and controlling NPF. Therefore, the institution is advised to strengthen its monitoring and evaluation systems, as well as restructuring guidelines, and to enhance business support for its members. On the other hand, members are expected to understand the applicable procedures, maintain active communication when facing difficulties, and improve financial management so that obligations are met and the partnership can be sustained.

Abstract

This article examines the problems that arise in the application of the tarjih method in Indonesia, particularly in addressing contemporary Islamic legal issues related to human resources management in Islamic economic institutions. Using a qualitative approach with document analysis from three major fatwa institutions: the Muhammadiyah Tarjih Council, the Nahdlatul Ulama Council (LBM NU), and the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI). This study finds that there is a significant dynamic between the established adherence to traditional school methodologies and the need for contextual ijtihad. This dynamic creates a diversity of legal products (fatwas) that often overlap or even contradict each other and have implications for economic human resources, ranging from recruitment policies and compensation systems to employee development, which must operate amidst legal uncertainty.
