Abstract

Currently, pesantrens are still dependent on donors and external assistance, so efforts are needed to achieve economic independence in order for pesantrens to be financially self-sufficient and sustainable. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of the Pesantren-Owned Enterprises (BUMP) in managing pesantren economic ventures to create a stable source of income and reduce dependence on external parties. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that BUMP contributes significantly to improving the welfare of the pesantren and its students, as well as serving as an entrepreneurship learning medium for the students. With the existence of BUMP, the pesantren can carry out its functions of education, da'wah, and community empowerment more independently in economic terms. In conclusion, the existence of Pesantren-Owned Enterprises is a strategic step in realizing the economic independence of pesantrens, with professional management and optimal utilization of local potential.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that determine the accessibility of financing at Micro Waqf Banks. The method used is a quantitative method, using primary data distributed to micro-entrepreneurs around Islamic boarding schools where Micro Waqf Banks (BWM) are located in East Java. The sample in this study consisted of 100 respondents, namely 75 respondents received financing accessibility and 25 respondents did not receive financing accessibility. Data analysis used in this study was logistic regression using Stata 16. The results of this study indicate that factors that influence financing accessibility at BWM are influenced by the variables of age, education, and assets, while the variables of household size, income, length of business, network or recommendation, and business mentoring do not affect micro-entrepreneurs in financing accessibility at BWM. The limitations or implications of this study are limited to data obtained from two districts or cities in East Java. However, the novelty in this study lies in the accessibility of financing at Micro Waqf Banks, which are LKMS whose funding sources come from social funds, namely waqf.

Abstract

This article discusses innovation in the implementation of Sharia-compliant sales contracts through a multidimensional approach: digital technology integration, practical efficiency analysis, and the application of sustainability principles (Environmental, Social, and Governance/ESG) in contemporary Islamic economics. This study uses a qualitative method with a desk study approach, examining six main contracts: Murabahah, Salam, Istisna', Ijarah, Wadiah, and Qard al-Hasan. The findings indicate that digitalization offers opportunities to increase transaction efficiency and transparency, but requires attention to Sharia compliance. Furthermore, the ESG approach demonstrates the alignment of Sharia values with global sustainability principles. This research emphasizes the importance of collaboration between regulators, industry players, and academics in developing innovative Sharia-compliant contract models that are responsive to the challenges of the times.

Abstract

This study develops a Qur’anic HRM model using a meditative-holistic religious worldview approach that unites both transcendental and empirical dimensions. The novelty of this research lies in the reconstruction of empirical humanities based on Qur’anic values as an alternative paradigm that integrates spirituality, intellectuality, and rationality into HRM practices. Through a philosophical-hermeneutical approach, this study analyzes the concept of khalifah (Qur’an, Al-Baqarah: 30), the multidimensional potential of humans (Qur’an, As-Sajdah: 9), and the principle of mutuality (Qur’an, At-Tawbah: 71) to reconstruct modernity. The findings reveal that a meditative-holistic worldview can bridge transcendence and empiricism by integrating spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social dimensions. This study contributes a Qur’anic HRM model that offers integrity-based recruitment, holistic development, performance evaluation oriented toward the common good (maslahah), and collective leadership. It contributes to modern humanities by offering a synthesis between scientific rationality and Islamic spirituality, while also providing practical guidance for contemporary organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of the poverty line from a sharia perspective. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach. The primary data source is literature such as books, journals, and articles related to Islamic economics that discuss the Islamic poverty line. Meanwhile, secondary data sources come from various literature that explain the primary data sources, including books, books, journals, and articles. The results of the study indicate three things: first, determining the standard poverty line from a sharia perspective can use two approaches: the had al-kifayah approach, and the nishab approach for gold zakat and agricultural zakat. Second, calculations using the nishab standard for the zakat poverty line are much easier and more rational than conventional approaches. Third, the poverty line based on the nishab gold is higher than the poverty line according to the World Bank.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of dividend policy, leverage, asset growth, price-earnings ratio, and inflation on stock price volatility in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) companies for the 2021-2024 period. The quantitative descriptive-causal research method used purposive sampling with a population of 30 and a sample of 18 consistent JII stocks. Secondary data were analyzed using multiple linear regression (Stata 14) after classical assumption testing. The dependent variables were independent volatility: Dividends, DER, asset growth, PER, and inflation. The results of this study are dividends (β=0.000456; *p*=0.010) and PER (β=0.0122; *p*=0.009) increase volatility significantly, while Leverage (β=-0.059; *p*=0.827), asset growth (β=0.0027; *p*=0.826), and inflation (β=0.0053; *p*=0.982) are not significant with a limited explanatory power of the model R²=16.57% the rest is explained by other variables outside the study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of ease of use and system quality on customer satisfaction, with respondents being Muslim students of Politeknik Negeri Medan. The research employs a quantitative approach using survey techniques. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results show that, partially, the ease of use variable does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Conversely, system quality has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction. Simultaneously, ease of use and system quality also have a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.500 indicates that 50% of the variation in customer satisfaction can be explained by the two independent variables. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of system quality in enhancing customer satisfaction with Islamic digital banking applications. These findings align with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach and the principles of Maqashid Sharia.
